Question What service should I stop? - Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite

My Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite (SM - T225) can make calls and receive calls (SIM card with phone number), works OK.
But it doesn't have proximity sensor. There are many complaints in forums like
"double tap to unlock problem":
when I try to make or answer a call, a dark gray screen pops up over the whole dialing screen with a padlock icon and the words "double tap to unlock".
This "double tap to unlock" for Calls was done for PHONES, to prevent an accidental touch when the phone is at the EAR.
But Tablets are never at the EAR, and this feature is just VERY distracting and completely useless:
I can't do anything on the screen until i double tap and then it just keeps popping back up every 2 seconds.
Is it known what system service is responsible for such unneeded - for Tablets - OVER-protecting)? I would disable it via Package Disabler...

you can always check with dumpsys window which package is in foreground

End call lock

Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this or if it has something to do with my settings.
This has happened a couple times lately but after ending a call the lockscreen appears and continuously switches back and forth from sleep to lockscreen. The notification bar is highlighted green and if I am lucky or quick enough I can swype my passcode and bring down the notification bar. From there I have to end the call again if it doesn't just go back to sleep or the lockscreen.
This is my first smartphone and touch screen so do you think I am not ending the call properly, i.e. not touching the end call long enough, or would it have something to do with my screen timeout settings. Or am I just missing something completely.
Thanks,
Wing
It does that after you end a call? The notification bar will go green when you are in a call and, say, go to an app...essentially what you are doing is putting the "phone" app as a background app, and the notification bar is green to let you know you are in a call...I've never seen it after ending a call. Are you sure the call is actually ending? You should just have to press "end call" and it will end it.
Okay. Yeah I guess I'm not ending it properly but it is odd how when the phone call is not ended and the lockscreen appears, it flashes back and forth so quickly that it makes it very difficult to unlock and end it. I don't think I am pressing the power button to lock so I am guessing it is the screen timeout settings. Thanks.

Call Issues since KitKat upgrade

Before the KitKat update, there was a feature that was simple but very effective and I absolutely miss it. Let's say you were in any application and someone called you, you would receive a call pop up from the bottom of the screen with three options (to accept call, deny call, I do not recall the last one) and when you decide to accept the call the popup would disappear and now your status bar would be green (to let you know that you are in the call) and you were able to keep doing what you were doing before the call (like multitasking the call and whatever you were doing). Since upgrading to KitKat, the popup shows up as normal but when I accept the call I am forced into the call screen. I've checked throughout my settings to see if it's an option to get it back but nothing . I am wondering if anyone knows a fix to this.

If I have to multitask, I just press home and it gets out of the call screen. I have that issue with my S-view flip cover when in a call it always goes to the call instead of what I was doing before. If you just press the home key, it should get you out of the call screen. It's something I always had to do even with JellyBean.

Cannot dismiss dialogs by touching outside them

I just switched to S4 from a Stock android based Motorola phone. In the previous phone having KitKat, I always dismissed all dialogs by touching outside the dialogs in the empty shadowed areas. But since I switched to the S4, which has Lollipop, I see that I cannot dismiss dialogs anymore this way. I need to press the back button for this purpose.
Here's how you can also reproduce the issue:
Go to a conversation in Hangouts, long-press a message, this dialog can be dismissed by clicking an area outside the dialog. Now click options>delete and then this new popup/dialog cannot be dismissed in the similar way. This happens in almost all apps that I cannot simply dismiss the dialogs. Another place where I CAN dismiss it is the wifi details dialog.
Is this a feature or a bug? I have hard-reset my phone already and it started from the very first phone setup phase.

[REQ] Stopping/disabling/removing 'tap to wake' lockscreen or similar

MTK phone, CM12.1, and doesnt have an option to turn tap to wake off, In gestures or in display, I know it should as google tells me it should, but it doesnt. This is on CM12, or resurrection remix, or crdroid, or pacman rom.... none have the option to turn it off. So in my jeans my phone keeps waking up and doing stuff in my pocket. Tried a pin or a pattern but it ends up opening emergency call and typing hundreds of numbers. All this is wasting battery. So... how can I either get rid of tap to wake lock screen, or completely remove the emergency call button. Gravity box USED to have the option, but doesnt now and some xposed lock screen apps hide the writing for it, but its still there. So am looking for:
disabling tap to wake lockscreen
removing the emergency call option completely.
removing the lockscreen completely.
A new lockscreen with NO notifications, nothing extra (tried zui but hated that slide up settings thing)
any of these fixed is great.
Can anyone tell me what its actually called within the ROM? Something I can delete before I flash a rom, to stop it working?
ANY help appreciated.

Question Pixel 6 wakes up when there's vibrations.

The phone's display wakes up whenever there's vibrations on the table.
I have already disabled "lift to check phone" but it didn't seem to help.
To troubleshoot I've also tried disabling "Tap to check phone" and "Wake screen for notifications" but it still seem to wake when there's motion.
Anyone know what other setting is there that can cause this or it is a persistent feature of the phone?

It's likely due to having fingerprint unlock set up. It appears to be a feature making it quicker to unlock when you touch your phone. 2 workarounds:
1. Delete your fingerprint(s) and use another unlock method, or
2. Use this adb command: adb shell settings put secure doze_quick_pickup_gesture 0
