Question BSOD on HP Pavilion gaming 15 - Windows 11

Has anyone noticed some units of the Pavilion Gaming 15 are prone to the infamous blue screen of death?
-Reinstalling OS doesn't help
-Changing RAM doesn't help
-Changing the SSD doesn't help.
I am thinking it's a processor issue; since it only affects the 11th generation Intel Core series and not the AMD variants.
Anyone with a clue?

What's the error code?

CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT

The CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT bug ( 0x00000101 ) indicates that an expected clock interrupt on a secondary processor, in a multi-processor system, was not received within the allocated interval. Typically, this occurs when the processor is nonresponsive or is deadlocked.

What's the best way to fix the bug given that it is a processor issue?

Here is something about that error code.
FIX: Synthetic_watchdog_timeout blue screen in Windows 10/11
To fix the Synthetic Watchdog Timeout blue screen of death error, update system drivers, install Windows update,or check for hardware problem
windowsreport.com

Thanks for this. Very interesting read; though It didn't work.
I think the problem might be with the machine itself.

What people find useful is configuring Windows to save a file that contains lots of information regarding the BSOD and how they can go about fixing the error. This is called a minidump file.
Create such a minidump file and post it here in hope somebody can interpret it and help you further.
You may use BlueScreenView tool to read the file:

Alright then. I will update you guys when the next BSOD happens

i got some bsods on my old ideapad gaming 3, wifi driver updating helped me. This dont work on your computer but i telled my own story,

Bug issue!

I'm currently working on a cool Android game which was about to be released real soon. Some of our beta testers started complaining that the game crashes with the “too many open files” error message. I've tried simulating this problem on the AVD emulator but couldn't reproduce the error.
Afterwards, I realized that only our Galaxy S3 and Asus Nexus 7 testers were complaining.
I found this bug issue on Android's bug tracker and it sounds quite similar to what is happening to me:
http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=39002
This sounds like a serious architecture problem which effects all Internal SD cards devices.
These devices are limited to 1024 file descriptors only!
Can anybody confirm this problem?

[FEEDBACK,HELP] Remix OS on HP 650 laptop

Hey!
Recently installed the latest Remix OS release on my HP 650 laptop.
Specs:
Intel® Celeron® B820
Intel HD 2000 integrated graphics card
some memory,etc.
So far the OS itself runs great but a bit slow.Since it's still beta i don't complain about it.
Other thing i instantly noticed is the quality of sounds. It's horrible.Do i need to install something to get the same sound quality as on windows?
The problem i am having is currently with one game called Soccer Spirits.
After successfully downloading and installing the game it stucks at the loading screen.
CPU usage skyrockets to 50-75% while it's stuck and that's it.Left it there hoping it would eventually load in but didn't happen.
It would be nice if others here could test out what might cause the problem:
the OS itself,my laptop compatilibity or the game itself.
This is how goes:
1.Install game
2.Start game
3.It downloads a bunch of updates
4.After it's done it starts
5.It shows different event pages that you have to close in order to proceed
6.Then comes a login screen where you can choose if you want to play as a guest or with an account
7.After this comes another loading screen and this is where it stucks at either 10 or 20%.Doesn't matter what i choose at 6.

According to this post the game might be blocked. After installing the hacked version of Remix OS and editing build.props ro.product.cpu.abilist so armeabi is the first value didn't work either.
So i would like some help troubleshooting the problem.I am tech savvy so i can look into logs or run some commands to solve this issue. If some people would install the game then report back if it works that would be great and could give us a lead where to search for the cause of the problem.
Thank you very much.
Sound works fine on my laptop, so I think it might be a hardware compatibility issue. To verify that, you can try running a Linux distribution in live mode and check (The drivers in Remix OS are basically the same as those in most Linux distributions).

I tried Soccer Spirits on my laptop, and I didn't get stuck on any of the loading screens. I did have to set it to run in fullscreen mode so clicks work right, and upon starting tutorial pressing Next will freeze it. Skip works for that though. My laptop has an Intel Core i5-3317U CPU, 4 GB RAM, and Intel HD 4000 graphics.

Sorry i forgot to mention but my phone has 512 mb ram, 1ghz cpu with broadcom videocore IV proccesor
Pokemon GO requirements
Hi there,
i found this,
Supported devices
Android
Android 4.4 to Android 6.0.1
(Android N will not supported until the official Android release)
Preferred resolution of 720x1280 pixels (Not optimized for tablet)
Strong internet connection (Wi-Fi, 3G, or 4G)
GPS and Location Services
Intel CPUs are not supported
Source : "https://support.pokemongo.nianticlabs.com/hc/en-us/articles/221958248-Supported-devices"
Personaly i know that you need at least 2gb of RAM to run this app
Best regards
Well you are right about that, but im asking if there is a way to run it with low end phone with kitkat and maybe somehow reduce the ram usage so it can launch correctly not crash
EDIT: guys i actually found a good settings for gl tools to launch the game try you guys too, this may help the crash
P.S. idk xda app doesnt let me to upload screenshots so i will type all of this (oh boy this will be long :c)
Disable anti alliasing
Force 16 bit rendering
Optimize glsl shaders
Enable texture decompression-all
Enable texture recompression-all
Downscale textures-0.5x
Enable simple mapbuffer emulation
Enable use packed stencil buffer
Enable fix fbo attachment sizes
Enable decode sRGB
Enable Lower depth buffer size limits
Thats it! You can thank me later and tell if you still have problems
I again forgot to mention, dont worry about the long loading and it might crash the first time like i got when i tried to enable gps, but i rebooted the phone and wolla!
Doesnt recompression actually take more CPU? Because it has to compress graphics.
Might be better for RAM but worse for CPU.
Please correct me.
Well yes and no. You see pokemon go has a big requirement to run the game, and you also need more ram to just open the game. So the only option here is to use the recompression that will free more ram to launch the game, but the only thing i need to solve is how to fix the lag for now :/

X11 Displaying remote applications within Remix OS?

I'm hoping someone could shed some light on this topic as it truly is a deal breaker for me.
Both Linux and Mac OSx operating systems can run applications in a remote x11 display server, and I am sure it could be achieved on Windows OS as well through virtualisation.
The problem is, none of the XSDL (X11 Server) applications work in Remix OS and don't function properly with input methods either. For me, it just flickers on and off without any input or sound.
Is there any way to actually get X11 working within Remix OS? and I hope someone at Jide sees this and makes it a feature (integrated with their window support) because it would function/look just like the applications are running within the OS natively. (My boxes are connected directly by ethernet to a port switch, I would rather not keep switching my kb/m and monitor inputs all the time.)
Losing my sanity, needs fixing! Cash Reward!
Please somebody reply quickly, I need the ball rolling asap and a solution by tonight. The thing nearly works, if it didn't flicker every other frame and accepted input. Don't mind the window not moving for now, just need to be able to get on with my job. Cash Reward of upto £25.00 for working answer!
It just isn't going to happen is it? Most people who uses Remix OS likely doesn't have the capacity to use real linux, and therefore doesn't care about X Windows. Will just have to remove it and use linux with a horrible UI to get the job done. Android x86 has been always broken, always will be; nothing has really improved in years since it started. It runs as bad as day one. Apart from now its full of branded bloatware.
Mods feel free to close this thread, I am out.

A weekend using remix 3.0.102

Hi all users remix I will present to you today as I was using for two days in his last remix version on my laptop with the following characteristics:
TOSHIBA NB250-108
Intel® Atom ™ N455 processor
ddr3 ram 2gb
Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 3150 (256mb)
open gl 2.0
I say this after beginning...
I use windows 7 without any problem from there 3.0.102 remix install the hard disk on another partition, was fast, start well, I gave me choose my WiFi connection but not detect anything even though it was activated.
okay
no problem, sure to restart may recognize my wifi and so was ... well it works well, not as fast as its main competitor, phoenix you, but not as fluid goes well, native apps are good, your file manager does not have option to extract compressed files, but only touches download an app for that ... ok let's start with the good things about this version:
It works faster than version 2.0 ...
store and play alternative app store
It is rooted
all applications work smoothly
detects all partitions
we now for the things that must be corrected:
problems with the WiFi that spend an hour or a little more begins to fail, disconnect and try to connect again and does not, after several attempts just says error wifi connection and no problem with my wifi in my phone does not happen and is the same wifi I have in my house.
the file browser is missing extract compressed files.
many crashes, when using the system and do many things like download any app, play games, listen to music or do something in Word hangs and returns to CRGAR the system.
also freezes playing restart the computer.
when the computer is asleep after resume does not react more, it turns but is completely frozen.
besides that he needs more fluidity.
mapping the full screen key does not fit well because of the lower task bar.
but that is only corrected manually adjusting the size of the games.
You can not be installed launchers and assume that android is customizable.
change those icons so ugly: P
some games run smoothly but many do not work.
examples:
baseball superstar 2013
Zenonia 5
ZENONIA S
candy crush and all games dl same developer
battle camp
demon souls ... the list is longer but are just a few examples.
I hope to do more compatible with those games.
jetpack joyride also runs slow and that in phoennix will operate normally.
I do this because I work with system installation and I would like to install this system to my clients and do not have many problems and they can do their jobs, watch videos, play and do everything smoothly.
so users expand this excellent system. jide thank for this, I hope I read and take into account.
and the laptop that I use is very, very common where I live.
Why I'm getting stuck on setup wizard in RemixOS 3.0 ??
Sent from my ONE E1003 using XDA-Developers mobile app
I also installed the new marshmallow update on my 2015 Dell Xps 13 with the touch screen. Wifi is non existent. The system looks promising, but without wifi I'm not going to even give it a try.
You know...I am getting tired of this stupid linux/open source/remixos driver situation. I mean...it's 2016. Are we still having trouble with a god damn wifi? The wifi dongle is such a ubiquitous tool. We have wifi everywhere - but no, we don't have drivers for them. Seriously? Do we even *need* drivers for such a simple device? And then graphics. Of course, graphics. NVidia launches the Pascal architecture, AMD launches the 400 series - but wait, we are on linux or a futile linux hack called remixos. We don't get access to all that. We need opensource drivers.
What in the name of sweet baby jezus is all this crap? We have PCs for over 60 years folks. 60 god damn years. And we still lack basic boilerplate drivers like graphics and wifi? See? This is exactly why I don't bother with hacks like remix os or linux. Yes, I am including linux here because no hardware vendor supports it properly. Hell, I could extend this to the whole open source ecosystem. I don't use that. I don't want that. I want supported devices.
I am tired of browsing forums to help me get my god damn wifi or printer working. It's been 60 years of personal computing folks, we deserve better. That's exactly why I am ranting and will always rant about this. And for sure I will get a chromebox when android play store comes to chrome os and will say goodbye to PCs forever. Remix OS for PC - what a god damn joke. If it's for PCs, make it actually run on PCs.
