thanks. i found out that my current
baseband is I9300XXUGNA8
bootloader is I9300XXUGNG3
and ap i suppose is I9300XXUGMJ9.
i realized though that there are different revisions even of the same bb, csc, bl and ap.
device fingerprint: m0xx/m0:4.3/JSS15J/I9300XXUGMJ9
product code: GT-I9300MBDDBT/EU
because some time ago i installed this and its still running / active in the background with its low rev. bb, bl, csc and ap:
Exclusive: I9300XXUGMJ9 – Android 4.3 Jelly Bean leaked firmware for the Galaxy S III
After leaking Android 4.3 for the Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy Note II, we finally managed to obtain a test ...
www.sammobile.com
now currently im running latest twrp and ressurection remix 5.8.5 20171217 i9300 final or some lineage os 14 / 19.
the phone is kind of running ok, everything is working.
would it be possible to flash everything back with odin to the latest official fitting firmware, which is this one:
GT-I9300 | Samsung Galaxy S3 | PDA/AP Version: I9300XXUGNG3 | Firmware for Region: DBT from GERMANY | ID - GT-I9300_DBT_1_20140823111010_b9bf686v1d_fac - Sfirmware.com

sfirmware.com
and then install custom rom and recovery over again?
would it be worth it or make any sense because im wondering since everything is still running off this leaked version in the background that seems to not be really uptodate / have lower revisions.
does the pa even have any impact when a custom rom is running?
think i found what i needed:

My apologies.

Don't know what OP meant by naming the thread as 2.3.5 on Kies! But the one Intratech posted is taken from Samfirmware, and he might have modified it to different categories like Non wipe and Wipe, but that is Not an official version of the firmware. Its a leaked one.

I have never taken anything from Samfirmware. I had the firmware days before it was leaked. I have also posted the official version which so happens to be the same single file package I had in my possession and that was used as a test release. I know nothing about any package from samfirmware.
Also, next time before opening your gob you may want to check your facts. XXKI3 has now been released via KIES to Polish devices.
2.3.5 on KIES for Taiwan region just out today!! HK also maybe. (It's Official 2.3.5)

Maybe you have misunderstood me. OP's title is 2.3.5 on Kies and he is from Chile, if his flag is right, so an Official firmware of Poland can't be an Official one for another country.
Anyway, didn't mean to say anything to you.

Thanks fyi.
So he/she alerts about Official firmwares for all regions, the same ones which will be uploaded to Kies later, it's cool then. Also, why on earth then Samsung takes long time to release it to Kies? !!!
Like responsible companies they like to test the software and wait for all the feedback and them make a decision about the release. As you can imagine, with a large company with difference teams working on stuff all over it can take a while to conclude their testing and then sign off on release.

Hi,
I wanted to test 4.0.3 so I installed the I9100XXLPB version but now I want to convert it back to 2.3.5. Can someone help me. Here is some information from the 2.3.5 build I was running before the update.
The information:
PDA: I9100BOKJ2
PHONE: I9100BOKJ1
CSC: I9100TNLKJ2
Build Info: Thu Oct 6 08:34:03 KST 2011
I know how to flash via Odin, I just don't know what version I need to download so I can convert it back. I was looking on SamFirmware.com, Please help me. Thanks.
Why don't you just use the latest XWLA4 that's running 2.3.6? Since you will clean install 2.3.5, it should be better to install the latest version available.

Dude, This is a development forum, not a newbie help desk. Your topic has absolutely no place in this section and if you had bothered to look for a couple of seconds at the section you would see that its blindingly obvious.
Please try and use some common sense and post threads in correct forums. If its a general topic put it in general, if its a question put it in Q&A. Never post topic in dev forum unless its a rom, kernel, reference or other type of development. "help me flash me moby plz" type of threads do not belong here.

Okay, you don't have to go all Kanye on me...
as Samsung till now don't update GT-I9100G with gelly bean. I decided to flash a custom rom
I downgrade as you advised me to ICS 4.0.3 KSA but I still have Insane chip
Now I must flash a CWM to flash the custom rom, It's safe to do this now as I will wipe data from it (CWM)
1-What is the appropriate CWM to my phone? and how can I flash it Via odin or Via Recovery mode?
2-I'm living in KSA which rom i choose [JB][4.2.1] CyanogenMod 10.1 official nightlies or [JB 4.1.2][PA2.55][AOKP-ML1][CM10]P.A.C True All in 1 ROM? as I need mobile to read and write arabic without any external applications.
3- I had a problem "my phone is always open but when some one try to call me it say mobile is closed" Is that from the rom cause of different modem in rom or how can i fix this (this problem not from the carrier as i try the sim in Nokia mobile and worked fine).

Hey ma8 stop making multiple threads for each of ur issues in the first place and also do not post 'what ROM/Kernel/Modem is the best for my phone' type question as they r against XDA rules, for which u might even have an 'Infraction' by the Mods

first, u have a 'G' model (I9100G) which is quite Different Hardware wise fro I9100 international version and its variants M/P/T etc, so any advice given to u here with some gross oversight might hardbrick ur phone for sure ma8
hence i have given u the appropriate link for ur model (I9100G) in my previous post, so visit there and see
u have a 'Q & A' thread for i9100g there also, so try posting ur issue there for better results.
Hope its clear for u know
Thread closed.
Remember guys, ROMs/kernels etc are all subjective so there really is no "best ROM" only ROMs that work best for you

Hey there !! You want official firmware right ? If so you'll have to downgrade it via Odin. You can downgrade it directly from android 9 to 7. Build number doesn't matter here. The build number you have given here must be of android 9. Just select this version of android 7 ( if you want latest ) the one in yellow :

Hi bro,
My computer had a problem during this past time .
I can't download the official firmware from https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ I must be premium.
Althought, I found the firwmare on https://samfw.com/firmware/SM-G950F/XEF/G950FXXU1AQK7
But Concerning BIT (or SW REV) they say that:
"Samsung do not allows you flash lower SW. REV. for your phone. Do not try if you do not want your phone bricked"
What do you think about this ?

Hey brother. I am absolutely sorry but I can't help you about this. You see, I don't have a PC so I don't know any troubleshooting that might help. I have a Samsung galaxy tab 2 but I only use custom ROMs on it ( if I ever feel like reverting to stock, I use the stock-custom ROMs ) so I don't know. SORRY !!!
Hey sorry brother but actually you should have made this thread here : https://forum.xda-developers.com/f/samsung-galaxy-s8-questions-and-answers.6162/
This is the actual forum for s8, so you will definitely get help here.
Just request a forum moderator to move this thread to s8 question and answer.
i cannot even downgrade so i cannot freaking find a nougat for my version 6 bruh how to bypass the binary check and flash without fail?
