I would like to ask if someone can provide SIM unlocking code for my HTC Rose. Curently it is locked to UK ORANGE network. Unfortunatelly I do not have a credit card, so I can't use the advertised online sites.
My phone's IMEI is - 352681020985785
Thank you!
People are not very helpful here, are they?
Almost 100 views and not a single responce. It seems that the forum is loosing it's human face and is becoming more and more commercial!
God bless the few intusiasts that are still posting their work free of charge, just to be useful and helpful in this community.
http://rose.sim-unlocker.com/en/
It uses PayPal, but to be honest, I don't know if the site generates a proper code. Never used it.
I've been google around for sake of knowledge and benefit, how does these unlocking sites provides unlock codes based on IMEI of devices?
most importantly do they have an inside man or there is actually a way to calculate things based on the carrier and IMEI provider which gets this number?
Thanks
i already unlocked my jetstream using one of these sites and paid them, my question was just how they make it, buying them from network provider seems fishy, i think they have other ways of generating them because they ask first if doable or not like they are testing something on the IMEI #
My guess would be that they pay the same type of people who crack software and create software keygens. The difference being they probably need to brick a few phones in the process.

Why on earth would you PAY to get something off some (shady?) site that you can get for FREE through official means
Like I just posted in another thread:

Just request it via email from any Honor Support site, Germany for instance sends them out. All they need is your IMEI and S/N
The email for the German support site: [email protected]
You should be able to write it in English, if you want to be on the safe side you can simply run it through Google translate and paste the German translation into your email too :fingers-crossed:

The code number sent by Huawei staff is another number.
If you try to use a code number, you will get an error that your password is different.
I gave him money and his code number is recognize.
He gave me the correct code number to find.
Code numbers sent by Huawei employees and code numbers received using money are different.

That's BS, sorry.
The official codes sent by Huawei employees are the proper codes to unlock your bootloader. I have unlocked mine just fine with the code I received from Huawei/Honor support and so have countless others.
I have no idea which codes you get from that other site after paying - of course they might work. But the PROPER way is to go through Huawei ... and most importantly: It's FREE!

I know that the code numbers supported by the official site are free.
But the product I bought is not recognizable.
The cause is unknown, but it is a rebranded product.
I think I do not seem to be able to recognize it on the rebranded device.
bkl-al20 device ㅡ> bkl-l09 rom
If I do not use money, I will not be able to unlock it forever.
The reason is that the code number given by Huawei staff is different.
The code number is not recognized on my device.

No idea what you bought then, but for any NORMAL Huawei/Honor product the official free codes work just fine.
So please don't confuse users by saying they don't - you're a special case and everybody else will do just fine without paying money and letting a total stranger get full access to their computer (which btw I would NEVER do and neither should anybody else!).

I understand that there is an exceptional error on my device.
There may be people who have had the same problem.
I want to let inform them know.
Since Huawei stopped providing customers bootloader unlocking code, many of us try to find a way to get them. I also found some service that provide codes but it is too suspicious. Also some claims that those third party simply go to Huawei customers support and ask for the code. So I think it is time for us to discover some patterns or at least exploits. Share your ideas here guys!!
Here are my question.
Why there is no blue-force attack program to find the code? Is it because it is harmful for the device?
Also, do you think it is possible to discover some patterns if we share IMEI and its bootloader unlock code of old devices?
Is it possible to carrier unlock these phones?
I bought one off of eBay that was supposed to be carrier unlocked, but it's not. It looks like a Tracfone version. When I put in my FreedomPop SIM and booted the phone, it loads up the welcome wizard, and when I touch "Start", I get a screen that says:
Locked device
Your device is locked by your carrier. Please insert a valid SIM card.

Is there a way to unlock it so I can get it to work with FreedomPop, or am I out of luck? Is there a hidden secret way to get past this "Locked device" screen?
MOD ACTION:
Thread closed since it is illegal to unlock the SIM from the carrier unless the device has been fully paid off.
