Hello. I made a V20a TWRP image. I have a D620r. If anyone needs it I will provide it for download. The firmware must be restored via TWRP backups I always call this TWRP Image. So don't be alarmed if you hear this from me a lot Download: https://www.mediafire.com/file/len6...V20a_TWRP_Image_by_Anonym_Unbekannter.7z/file

So here is the thing: before instaling cm12, i made a backup of a official rom via cwm recovery, after a bit of time I flashed twrp, and i tried to restore that backup via twrp but it doesnt recognize it, then I thought I could try reflashing cwm, but the thread from which I downloaded recovery earlier doesn't allow me to download it "the thread is outdated". So I want to install my backup but I have no idea how, so maybe someone could help me?
Just flash the "outdated" CWM.
You can reflash TWRP after you restore the backup.

I had the same problem, I couldn't find CWM recovery img file. As I found it, I installed Flashify and created backup of TWRP and flashed CWM. Restored my backup of stock rom made in CWM, flashed back TWRP and created backup of stock rom in TWRP this time. Worked perfectly. I can search for „cwm_d620.img”, but I'm not sure it'll be same recovery image I used.

Hello,
I want to switch from CWM to TWRP.
The problem is, that when I flashed CWM, my android was 4.1.2 version, and so was the recovery.
I've already flashed newer rom than 4.1.2, and now I want to switch to TWRP.
My concern is: Now that I downloaded the latest TWRP and I use Nandroid, it prompts me that the TWRP .img file is built for 4.1.2 android, so can I still flash the TWRP although I have higher version than 4.1.2?
*Also, is Nandroid a working way to switch between recoveries? I've never done that before, and I just came across a thread that suggests using Nandroid to flash new reocvery over the existing one.
Thanks!
TWRP or CWM Recoveries will work in all android versions. Just download twrp-2.8.6.1-i9300.tar flash it via odin. Here is the link - https://dl.twrp.me/i9300/
I need to do a full backup of my Kenzo.
I have unlocked it with the official method.
What version of twrp should I install to make a full backup that I'm going to restore after having tried some custom rom (and still keeping the stock miui OTA update functional)??? Thanks!

Hello.I would like to try the latest Marshmallow rom.As i am on latest LP..Can i flash the rom with same recovery?(nut's dual recovery) and later return to my restored LP rom with again the same recovery?
Thanks.
anyone?at least can someone tell me which version of supersu can i put inside prf creator?
hey there
Make a backup of your LP ROM.
In the first post you can find a prerooted MM ROM for the SGP611 (WiFi Version), i just flashed it and it worked.
Here
Also you can restore your /data from your Backup in recovery after flashing the ROM, so you don't have to set up everything again (you can also use TitaniumBackup).
The only thing you have to do is reinstalling the xposed framework if you were using it.
And you're done.
I don't know if you can switch back to LP, since the MM Rom flashed new Firmware. Haven't tried it yet.
Also i use TWRP as recovery and i would suggest you that too.
thanks.is there any method for rooting with supersu as i trust it more? Also the rom from this thread is the latest Marshmallow? Also with restore i mean if i for some reason dont like Marshmallow..Will i be able to restore my previous Lollipop backup from twrp?
1.How to make pure backup of STOCK ROM by TWRP?
2.How to restore TWRP backup of stock ROM so that we can flash OTA updates.
I own Lenovo vibe k5,I created TWRP backup of stock ROM(I flashed TWRP recovery by fastboot boot recovery.img, then created backup by keeping system read only)
After making backup I rooted the phone.
I restored TWRP backup of STOCK ROM,to flash OTA to get latest build.
After restoring backup I flash d OTA update, but it gave error message " system is remounted....."),so I unable to flash OTA successfully.
Why this has happened.
Any body know how to backup pure stock ROM & restore TWRP backup to flash OTA update successfully... without system remount errors....
thank you....
