Can´t install stock rom, HELP!!! - Samsung Galaxy A21s Questions & Answers

Long story short, I received a Samsung A21s (SM-A217M) that just starts on recovery mode, I tried flashing the stock rom with several Odin versions, several binary versions and nothing, after installing, the phone bootloops a few times and then goes in recovery mode again. Previous owner said this happened after a hard throw against the floor (don't ask)

The problem seems pretty obvious to me. Interior physical damage, or possibly a loose connector.

[Q] Have I lost my phone forever because of samsung firmware?

Okay so I've had my s3 for quiet a while but never actually used it properly until today.
First issue was it didn't get past the samsung boot logo, it showed the carriers boot logo( three UK) followed by the samsung one but didn't go any further.
I thought oh crap I guess it's time for a reset. I do the usual factory reset through recovery mode. But noticed that it started saying E:/ removed or something.
Now not only no network carrier to be seen but stuck in samsung i9300 screen. Boot loop.
Next action fire up Odin and see if I can use the (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1646610) to get back and downloaded THREE different firmware as I wasn't sure of which one to download as I couldn't access my settings.
Next thing I know Odin says pass but it is on this constant loop of green android man and samsung!!!
I removed the cable and closed Odin but still stuck on it. I can't access recovery mode only download mode.
What do I do guys?!
P.s all this time I had no root installed
I would suggest warranty claim as you have never rooted i

[Q] Galaxy s3 screen bootloop

Hey guys,
I have a galaxy s3 (I9300) and I've had it rooted for some time now. I started using CyanogenMod 10.2 nightlies a few months ago and they've mostly been fine. The odd issue comes up but I've been able to work it out. So, a few hours ago my phone just turned off of its own accord and started to bootloop, but on the "Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-19300" screen, not the CyanogenMod screen (to clarify, this screen comes up first then the cyanogenmod one usually). I've tried booting into recovery (CWM 6) but it just shows the CWM boot logo thing (that cog with the hat) and then loops back to the galaxy s3 page. I've also tried putting it in download mode, and it seems to stay on the warning page longer than it does anywhere else, but it wont let me actually put in it download mode from there.
I had a look around google and saw people have had the same problem, but everything I could find was when people had flashed a new rom/kernel etc. and something had gone wrong in the process. The weird thing about mine is that I haven't changed anything, even downloaded any new apps, for maybe a week, so it's not like something suddenly changed. I also wasn't using it when it started, it was just sitting on the table next to me.
Usually I can work these things out, but I'm stumped here. Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Nope, if I press the volume up button to go into it, it just goes back to the bootloop. I'll try the battery thing though, thanks!
Nope, it didnt work, I left it out for maybe half an hour and nothings changed :/ anyone else got any ideas?
SDS thread and BootLoop identical questions posted .
What does Product Code say in download mode .
But if you cannot get to download mode then you need a service centre repair .
looks like u are facing SDA but a bit diffrend than a normal SDS.. mine still can go into download mode with blank product name..
If product name is blank in download mode then you got sudden death, consider a phone as a brick. Nothing will help, including repartitioning.
You need to contact service centre.
I'll check it in a minute, but if it is bricked, will any service center actually help me seeing as it's rooted and all?

AFAIK if it's sudden death then it's not possible to detect root and other modified things, or in other words - nobody has money to prove that you have been using unofficial firmware .

Ahhhh, well that is handy then
In terms of a service centre, will samsung have a list of them somewhere so I can find one near me?
So I contacted samsung and they gave me the link to book into a service centre etc, but I just realised that when I try to go into recovery mode, the CWM recovery logo comes up before going back to bootloop. Is there any way to get rid of that so that my root is completely untraceable?

If you can't flash anything with Odin (stock software) then you're screwed. Eventually you can try to enter recovery and flash "eraser" of recovery, but this requires working recovery... So if you actually can enter recovery then you can also flash anything, which will literally delete everything.
In other case, no, no way. But if you're lucky enough you may break it just by leaving your phone on for some hours in bootloop, haha.

To be honest think twice before physically crashing your internal memory, as it may void your warranty at all.
I'd try flashing stock firmware through odin, if it doesn't work I'd try flashing anything through recovery. If both of these methods fail just leave your phone in bootloop and hope that it'll automatically destroy everything...
Seriously though, you can either physically destroy internal memory or leave it in bootloop and hope for the best, eventually send them device in current status. Up to you, because you won't have a possibility to do anything else.

If I send it back to them as it is now it'll take them about 20 seconds I reckon before they see the CWM logo, realise its rooted and send it straight back, so I dont know what I'm gonna do hahah

Soft bricked phone that does not listen to instructions.

Phone: Samsung S2
Model: SHW-M250S (Korean T model)
My phone had the default firmware to begin with. I took it into my own hands to flash a custom rom because my phone did not allow me to pause or skip songs on the home screen which was very irritating. I first tried to flash the GT-i9100 firmware however my phone ran out of batteries in the middle of flashing with Odin. So now it is soft bricked. Yay. I then re-flashed the GT-i9100 firmware however it just stopped in the middle of the operation no matter how many times I restarted.
I then decided it was best to go back to good the good old firmware for SHW-250S. I was able to flash back to the firmware with Odin saying Passed. I then rebooted my phone and since then, it has been forever stuck on the red T flashing. I have researched for the past 3 days. Living without a phone, is like living without toilet paper.
I am a noob, please help me

Okay... Can u go into recovery mode..??
Try going to recovery mode... If you are able to then do a data wipe.. And try rebooting... If it doesn't work then
Check if the firmware that you have downloaded for your phone is correct or not... The problem might be with that...
Download the right one for your model and flash it again with Odin..! Find a proper Odin guide and do accordingly.!

After factory reset it takes a long time for the first boot..! I think you should probably be more worried about the phone booting up than the time it's taking...

Sorry for taking a long time to respond. Had to go somewhere. So then I left my phone for about one 1 hour and it still didn't boot. At some point I just gave up. I think the reason was because I couldn't get the right files for my firmware? My previous firmware was Jelly Bean 4.1.2 SHW-M250S. And I can't seen to find a working one. I have slow internet so I cant download everything. By slow I mean my peak download is like 200kb/s.

I am freaking out! I don't know anything about how to fix: SW REV. CHECK FAIL

Alright, I screwed up my phone. I was trying to root it, and this morning when it said everything passed and I was restarting my phone, where the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge screen and at the bottom it says powered by android....DOESN'T GO AWAY. It just stays there on that screen. So, I downloaded the stock firmware for the Canadian Bell S6 Edge cellphone, and tried to flash the old system back on my phone and the error message comes up: SW REV. CHECK FAIL DEVICE 4 BINARY 2
I have no idea what that means, I cannot find a reason on the internet.
I do not know how to fix my phone back to stock everything.
I am losing it, everything has been going wrong!!!
Can anyone please guide me how to fix it.....if at all possible. I know just a couple of things, I am not cellphone savvy at all. I really don't think I am ever gonna root my phone ever again. lol

The phone keeps rebooting every time it shows Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, powered by Android. Also, in red, it says RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING. I've downloaded and flash a couples of firmwares from sammobile and flash twrp recovery, but it keeps doing the same thing and I still can't boot into recovery.

Urgent Help Needed SAMSUNG GALAXY S6 SM-G925X

Hi All,
I wonder if any of you is able to help me please, I promise a kind donation in case the device works again.
So here's my story I bought a 2nd hand Galaxy s6 device from a store, it worked for about 9 months then it got blocked, I returned it to the store and after lots of arguing he decided to exchange the blocked device for a similar one if I repair the screen I broke, so I paid him another £180.00 to fix both the screen and back cover.
The wanker gave me a phone which looked fresh, I put my sim inside and it worked without any issues whatsoever... for about 30 mins then the sim card was not recognised anymore !! changed sim cards and nothing happened, when I returned back to the shop the IMEI number on the receipt was not matching the IMEI number in the phone, so the prick said that I am lying to him and that this device is not the one he sold to me, without any proof of it, I am now totally screwed.
After putting the device into download mode it shows the model name as: SM-G925X
The MF gave me a LDU, but whats driving me nuts is that it worked for about 30 mins, I made calls from this LDU for less than 30 mins before it stopped reading the sim card !
Now I took it to another store, where the guy completely f it up and got it bricked and now stuck at the samsung logo.
**If anyone could help me to get this device to work again I will be so grateful to you and promise and kind donation.

I am genuinely sorry about the bad language, its just out of frustration. And thank you very much in advance.
I am no longer able to get into recovery mode, I tried flashing various firmwares by removing all the .bin files yet the device is still stuck in boot loop.
I also cant locate the S/N to use the emergency recovery function in Smart switch, last time the device was on the imei number and S/N it had, showed up as a completely different samsung device !

I live in Scotland, UK. What's really confusing me is that it's a LDU, and I read multiple times that LDU are not full mobile phone devices they are missing an antenna or something like that. You really do sound like you know what you're talking about, thank you very much for helping me.

Have a go at flashing this firmware via odin. Rumour has it that you can flash unbranded G925F firmware onto an LDU. The worse that can happen is odin will fail.
If you need instructions on how quote me and I will get the notification
