I dropped my xda today...sh*t
antenna first to the ground, good thing it did not snap out.
But the antenna is misaligned already.
But the bad thing is the stylus was stucked inside, as i was trying to
pull it slowly out of the stylus hole it snapped off. Sh*t again.
I'll try to dismantle it today to get the stylus out and re - align
the antenna.
If ever i f*cked  up the whole thing, where can i bring my unit here in the philippines? any inputs? tnx guys! :? [/quote][/b]
if it is an xda II you can contact itech at +63 27226611. if XDA, i forgot the company but it is somewhere along the South Super hiway...ask itech nalang malamang they know.
Tnx man, i was able to find one of the suppliers of XDA1
here in the Philippines, its CDC (Computer Devices Corporation)
located at south superhighway, bangkal makati city.
I was able to buy one stylus for P550.00 ($10.00).
Tnx!
The USB housing in my Wallaby has come unattached. I cannot Sync and can only recharge after much jiggling. (Of the connection, not myself.) I believe I am going to have to open it up and glue it in place. Anyone know of any photo resources to aid me.
Are these units packed together pretty tightly?
Is the connector easy to get to?
Etc.. Etc.. Any input before my venture would be appreciated.

Wallaby construction
I replaced the internal battery, opening the case was a breeze. You need a very small TORX screwdriver, and a regular bladed one. Just unscrew the 4 screws, and GENTLY wedge the unit apart with the bladed screwdriver. It pops right open. You have to be careful with the IR window and you should remove the SIM card before you try to get it back together.
Good luck!
I have a T-mobile Vario II. I want a new housing for it and i have found 1 for a 8525 that I really like.
The only difference I can see is that the windows button and call answer button and the ok button and hang-up buttons are around the other way.
Is there anyway I can change the configuration of these buttons?
Download the 8525 Manual from the FTP site on this forum, hopefully you have some basic engineering ability and a ohm meter. I think it would be pretty risky to try that mod. Might be cheaper just to find a service center and ask to buy the housing you need minus their service if cost is an issue. Can it be done?
Hopefully you have small fingers, small tools, a large mounted magnifying glass, and are a ninja with a soldering iron.
Good luck on your adventure.

Ok so I had dropped my gtablet like couple days ago and its in apx mode the problem is the screen is not coming on so I want to rule out the screen cable from being unseated. If anyone can give me step by step instructions on how to open the gtablet, especially on how to remove those annoying "rubber pads" and which tool to use to do that that would be of great help. Keep in mind I am a beginner at this..
Thanks!
remove the 4 rubber plugs and remove the screws, slide a credit card or cellphone removal tool starting from the bottom docking connector and go around the tablet, it should pop open.

yes i know how to remove that but when I tried removing it with a very small phillips screwdriver i heard ripping noises so i stopped is there anything small maybe a flathead?
As far as removing the rubber pads, the best thing way I have found is to use pry from the inside out, meaning from the center of the tablet out at 45 degree angle. As for actually taking the thing apart I recommend getting one of these kits.

They say they are for an iPhone, but I don't own an iPhone and I have used the kit a hundred times it feels like.
I have a Microsoft Lumia 520 Handset but i am facing some problem with screen it contains some dirt inside the screen. Anybody knows how to clean dirt which is inside the screen. I didn't find any device or service center also not able to remove this dirt from inside the screen ?
