Does anyone have the pin connection details for an Ericsson R380 or a HCA-20 car kit?
I have one of these kits & want to make an addapter for my XDA. Sony Erricson will not give me this info for some strange reason. :?:

Has anyone found a bluetooth car kit for the XDA IIs that has half way decent sound quality? I'm on my second PARROTT kit and the quality is not good!
Looking for some recommendations or others user experiences with XDA IIs kits.
I havea similar issue...just got a QTEK 9090 in the form of a Vodafone1620....tried it with my existing Nokia BT HF Kit. Works great for me but callers are complaining about a very bad echo.
Bad Echo with Hands Free Kit
I have the same problem. I am on my second Blue Angel. One was a Qtek 9090 and I now have an XDA IIs. Both have a very bad echo when using it with a Nokia CK-7W bluetooth car kit, so much so that I now use a Bluetooth earpiece in the car.
I assume it is the Blue Angel that has the problem and not the car kit because my Nokia 6060 had no problem.
Car Kit
I use the Sony Ericson BT car kit and the sound quality is very good - no echos'a at all.
BT carkit for Blue Angel
So is the Sony Ericsson the best for sound recevied both by the caller and the receiver? anyone else tried this? I dont want to start a collection of bluetooth carkits if I can help it
Was this a professional install? Any particular Sony BT model?
Many thanks
BT car Kit
I'm using the Sony Ericson HCB-300 car kit.
I installed it myself.
It gets a bit of noise from the car at high speed  , but that's my car - not the car kit.
If I can throw in my uninformed two penn'rth: I own a Nissan which has bluetooth hands free through the radio/CD player. It pairs with my XDA2 but doesn't make or receive calls through it. It pairs with my old Sony Erricson 68i and works perfectly, with excellent sound at both ends of the call. If you are getting an echo, it is very likely that the hands free is not disconnecting the mic on the phone, so you are then getting feedback. A simple test would be to obscure the mic on the phone and try again. Won't solve the problem, but will at least show what's causing it.

Hi all
Anyone got a wired in (non BT) car kit for this device
I'm looking at the Carcomm one.
Thanks in advance for any advise

Hi
I have a THB Bury wired kit with radio muting which is excellent. Best bit is if you change your PDA you dont need to scrap the entire kit, you just buy a new docking sled for your new phone.
I have a combination of XDA Exec, Mini S, Blackberry 8700 and Nokias that I change between on a regular basis when testing different software and exchange syncing software. I just change the sled on the car kit and slip in the phone/pda I am using...
Makers website is at http://www.thb.de
Many places sell the parts or do a complete install package...

I know this is a long time since this thread was posted to....
I can't find details of a THB cradle for the Mini-S, yet you say you use this with your Mini-S. Can you confirm that this phone is correctly supported with a proper designed cradle for it, or does it just use a generic bluetooth cradle? (I can find cradles for the other models you listed).
Thanks
Mike

Can anyone guide me as how to pair sony ericsson hbh-ds 970 bluetooth stereo headphones with htc hd2
anybody know what the model number of these headphones is? its the ones with the extra bit beside the normal connector that goes into the keyhole shape, it allows you to skip tracks with the controls on the wires, i cant find them anywhere!

Hello,
I'm looking for a compatible with our x10 mini bluetooth car kit. Not the ones connected to radio through cables. The stand alone one's. Has anybody any sugestions?
I've had my phone connected to a garmin gps device with no problems and also connected to dads headunit (Kenwood KDC-BT30) in his car which is bluetooth enabled.
The head unit solution is really nice, no extra wires. bluetooth is built into the radio
