You want to reset Recent Calls?
Go to the Phone window (Start/Phone), then Call tap Call Log, then Tools at the bottom, then options, then you get the reset option for recent calls. Hope that's what you're looking for.

It was possible with xda 1 using xda manipulator but not as far as I know yet available for xda2.

i don´t think it´s possible yet... i also wanted to do that...
But i think if we could find the file in which it is stored and swapping it with a file from a new XDA2 it would be possible
Some hackers interested it finding the solution?

This has now been officially added to the FAQ

I will give you my answer here :
As far as I know nobody has found a way. There has been thread about the counters jumping to extreme high values. But no clear solution has been given to set them to 0.

Yup... my ROM from ZeroX shown 'UNKNOWN' after soft reset.
Not always, but after repeated soft reset.
Very easy.
You can set back call duration as you want
While the phone connected, you set the clock back, save and hang up your phone. Now Outgoing time is changed.
example, Outgoing: 14h32min, and it's 11:30AM, simply set clock to 1:30AM, Your Outgoing will be back: 4h32min
You can do it same with Incoming, but this time you have to use another phone call to your phone
To test Outgoing, you can call to Service center because it's free,
To test Incoming, you can connect to GPRS
Caution:
If you set back more than your Counter, it will show million hours but you can set it back

hi folks,
Just for my curiosity, why would anyone be interested in reseting the calls timers ? .. I couldn't find any "innocent" benefit
If you want to monitor your monthly usage, i believe there are many s/w for this purpose.
call timer
you can reset timers using the registry editors ..
(for the phone \call history\tools \timers problem )

I know for the himalaya there is another way to reset call timers according to the Service Manual XDA II :
bootmenu : Power/Action & Reset, use navigation up/down : Item 13 : CLEAN TALK TIME.
I don't know if this is possible with JASJAR. but my guess is that there must be something similar.

SMS sent notification

Most people in these forum try to find ways to disable the "sms sent" notification. However it's no problem for me and it helps a lot in low-signal areas.
However, I got another problem.
In some point recently the notification changed sound, without me doing anything.
I searched through these forums and the only thing I could find is this topic:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=557350&highlight=sms+notification
I changed the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877D65B-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408} Wave into \Windows\Alert-Exclaim.wma (my old sound) but the sound remains the same.
Anyone know how to I can change this sound again? Is there another reg key I should change?
Moreover I found out that current used sound is inside the Windows folder with the filename "Default".
Any help would be greatly appreciated
And even if you dont know but you still use the notification, could you please check your registry entries and tell me what you see?
I think you edit a wrong reg key ...in my device this reg key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877 D65B-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408} is for new message received notification ...I'm not sure but I think the sound for sms sent notification is here "settings -->sounds -->warnings"
Are you sure that it is that?
In mine it still has the same under Warnings. If you change it does it change the "message sent" sound?

[Q] Is it possible to ignore calls from a number?

i would appriciate if someone can help me with this. I want to know if i can ignore calls from some number automatically.
thx
Attached is Blacklist (freeware), and it should work when installed to main memory. On that note, my favorite call filter for WM has been MagiCall (payware). Anyway, hope this helps...
Best to all,
R
thanks for the help...
EDIT:
Is there no way to do it internally through WM itself, without any software?
tap the phone button, then the option icon, then options,

3 way calling?

sorry for the noob question but i cant find for the life of me how to make a three way call on the x10 2.1 can anyone please fill me in?
Good question.. I actually haven't used this on 2.1 yet and I just went to try it out and there was no option! I remember 1.6 it was easy to do with the menu button but when in call, menu button does nothing.
Anyone have other ideas?
When you're on a call just open the contacts list and select the number you want to call.

Phone calls - Number Pad Usage

I did a search and couldn't find anything. I don't frequent these boards either so if anyone has reported this problem, please direct me to the right post...
I am using Community Rom 1.3 with the Nitro Honeycomb 4.3 theme.
I am having a problem to where when I call a phone number that uses touch tones to select options. Example: Press 1 for English...etc. Pressing the number on the number pad does not do anything. I've tried normal and speaker mode.
Anyone else experiencing this problem or know of a fix?
Thank you!!
I know it worked when I had my old cell phone but I haven't used my Fascinate that way yet. I checked the Settings - Call Settings and found a setting for DTMF tones. Maybe it would help to set it to the Long option? Good luck!
Hey, I just Googled and found this:
http://lgknowledgebase.com/kb/index.php?View=entry&EntryID=6452
Using the same setup, my keypad works just fine. The keys don't make any noise (I have touchtones turned off), but was able to make my selections without issue

Changing the DTMF to "Long" worked great! I should have thought of that. I really appreciate the reply.
