As far as i understand 'NO', you would have to refer to DCS's thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=12101 and re-flash your ROM. I know it sounds complicated in there but DCS written the steps very detailed so take time to read and understand every single word; trust once you do it the first time, you can blind-fold yourself and do it again

I am a new members hier. :roll: I am novice in MDA 2 subject too.
Now I have a big problem with my new MDA 2.I have bought MDA 2 in English language and ONLY FOR FUN I have installed new T-Mobile Rom 1.72,1.70 GER in German language.Now I can't install Rom O2 or Era (in English) again. :shock:
I've always information : Language ID ERROR 121 N-2-1-1-1
or Country ID ERROR 120 N-3-1-1-1
PLEAS HELP ME STEP BY STEP what should I do now??? :?:

OK. That may not be a problem. Have you tried following the procedure? If so, do you get errors? If so, what are they? Also, Please tell me what ROM you are trying to upgrade to.

Please read the stickies and you will find the ShellTool method to flash a ROM to G4 device.
You don't need WM6 if you just want to switch to English. Look for the "Wizard Love" ROM (That can be flashed through RUU directly).
(Alternatively, you may try the new SoftSPL method)

I have read so many treats for upgrading (New Method).
I am not expert in this.
I have upgraded my Neo form WM5.0 to WM6.0 ,now on Transformation 1.1.
As after reading so many treats seem so many user are seem to be confusing to use new upgrade metho.
As others are doing in a click need to admit on their understanding.
Can any one answer on some of my question ?
I am sure this will help in removing my as well as others doughts.
1, For Hard SPL.
After Hard SPL is my current operating (Transformation 1.1 WM6) will remains the same or only which colour screen will apear on it and I have to update withs some WM Rome.
2, If Hard SPL donsent affect the existing rom.
Then after doing Hard SPL i just need to restart my Neo --> connect to PC
Through Active Syn. and need to exectue ROMUpdateUtility_NV_G4.exe from the folder with the ROM.Thats it new WM will be update on my Neo.
3, If I had Hard SPL once,
I read that once you have Hard SPL then no need to do it again,
does it mean once i have done Hard SPL then for any WM i just need to run WM rom that it no need for any Hard SPL.
I am dam sure all Great Gurus of this form is dong or else playing with all this upgradation process for WM 6/6.1.
All of us who are confuse on this new upgradation process will be really thankfull if some one just post some documents with sceeen shots for complete process form beging till the end to WM 6/6.1.
I know all those information are avilable on this form, also tried to read as much as i can but got confuse.
Seeking the answers form Gurus.

Your questions are a bit difficult to understand, but hee.. not everybody is educated in the English language...
I think I did get your point, so I'm trying to answer your questions:
1) HardSPL doesn't affect your OS, it only replaces the standard SPL. This makes it possible to flash any ROM with the RUU instead of only the Vendors release. Keep in mind that this universal ROM has to be in a nk.nbf format.
2) I did answer that question in point 1: Yes after a succesfull installation of HardSPL (you can check the systeminfo at startup) the only thing you have to do when you want to upgrade is to put the nk.nbf of your desired ROM together with the RUU-package and run the RUU when your device is connected through ActiveSync.
3) HardSPL stays resident, that means that you only have to execute that step once. Keep in mind though that most official ROM's install a complete firmware-package: OS, Splash, GSM and SPL. If you install such a ROM the included SPL will overwrite HardSPL. No big deal, but you have to install it again when you want to flash a homecooked ROM again.

I'm experienced in 3rd party SWs (especially GPS SW) but I could not take me to the ROM Flashers world because of these terminology used and not explained in even dummies thread..

Somethings are explained very good in the wiki, others aren´t.
These common terms and shortcuts would be really good for newbies.
I for example don´t know exactly what 'UC' means. It has something to do with the external ROM and the install routine, right?

Because the think that I required should look like a "abbreviations/accronyms" table..
The "one" that is planning to prepare that "table" should miss least possible number of terms..

UC = "User Capable". So this is with SD Config. allow users to install cabs from SD Card automatically, after flashing the ROM.

First post and I'm pretty new to flashing, so am a bit nervous about it. I've done extensive reading on this forum and have got to confess to some confusion - so please be patient with me!
First of all, I'd like to understand what USPL, SSPL and HARDSPL are? I think I read an explanation somewhere, but can't find it anymore.
I have managed to get HARDSPL 1.16 onto my phone and now that WM6.1 is out, I'd like to flash that version with the new HTC SSPL. Can someone please explain the steps I need to follow and how do I remove HARDSPL?
