Hello All,
I recently upgraded my Qtek ROM to v4.00.05. Once I activate my GPRS connection, to access the web and download email, the connection does not close automatically once I have, for example, completed an email download. I have to turn the phone off, then turn it on.
Is there a way to solve this?
Please advice.
Juan
Press and hold the end call key (red phone) for a few seconds to end your GPRS connection.
when gprs is connected
click on icon after, on setting, and click on add new modem connection,
after press cancel and get disconnected
my version is 4.00.11

Or just press and hold the red button for a few seconds...

Originally (prior to upgrading to Mobile 2003) my T-Mobile PDA had an option under the antenna icon to disconnect my GPRS internet session. Since upgrading to Mobile 2003, when I need to disconnect from GPRS internet I have to choose the "Turn Phone Off" option since disconnect is no longer an option. Has anyone else run into this? Is there another way to disconnect from GPRS?
Try holding down the red (end call) button for two seconds. It works for me. It disconnects from GPRS without turning the radio off.
and if u press it again for 5 seconds, it turn off the cell function all together! untill u press the red again
great for meetings or movies
Any can help resolve this. In WM5, the WIFI connects to networks that we set Automatically. But in the PDAViet 4.0.0.6 or WM6, it does not connect automatically?? Someone help. Can't find a solution.
I have the same "issue" with the Gullum roms. When I enable the WIFI to tries to connect, then the icon shows only antenna, no radio waves. Then go the the settings, wifi program and see your available network, connect and it connects fine.
But somehow, never automaticly. Its very weird indeed any suggestion to solve this would be great.
Or just press the powerbutton off/on and it connects automatically.

Connected to home network, I keep the wifi on my S3 on all the time and it seems to be connected (from the icon in the top bar) but there is no data connectivity.
I have to manually switch wifi off then back on for the internet connection to start working again. This is the case after waking the phone up, and also just when the wifi has been on for longer than a few minutes even when the phone is in use.
Keep Wifi on during sleep is set to ALWAYS.
Does anyone know if this is a common s3 problem or is it specific to my device, and are there any fixes?
Thank you.
