my xda o2 is not to switch on and the battary is not flashing and no baclight flashing light , radio is not there at all , rom cversion is : 3.16.13 en , rom date is : 01/09/03 , radio version is empty and product version is empty too . dunno why ???!?!?!?
&idnentity model number is pw 10a1 , imei is empty too !!!
& gms is not to switch on and when do format it represents the messsage " error gms " , and it never stwitches on , anyone have a clkue to this issue please feel freeee to give me his opinion , and when using the active sync to install update rom or radio the program give this message " the adaptor is not connected " insbide it i s connected !! , i measured the adaptor voltage and the output o f the phone battary is ok !! so how can i fix all these problems ????

Hold the power button in and press the soft reset button with the stylus, or unscrew the stylus and use the small plastic bit to press the battery disconnect button (small hole on the bottom right of the device near the headset jack socket), wait a few seconds then press it again. Or read the manual which tells you how to do that! :wink:

I try to flash my xda2 from english to chinese but when i flashing my place back down ,the phone now show serial v1.06 but can't on ,any solution to soft this problem??pls help ..

i use the serial cable and downloaded a new rom from myxda.com or tmobiles version 1.72 and installed it but the pda will shut off so just make sure it is on ..if it does shut off right bfore the up grade just take out the battery and reinstall and hit ower button without removing the serial cable and u will be or should be lol fine....

you have to turn the phone on yourself. i can get the rom upgrade done which is stage 2 but then it freezes and loses connection at stage 3 the extended rom... so i have a functioning pda without a camera which sux.

i try to do wht u said ,the system start to erase the rom from ppc but its erase untill 1-2 hours still under erase ???

I can’t start xda that is a problem, is dead , battery it was around 75 % , I need help if know of to start aging after my mistake during upgrade I install old upgrade and it stop on 3 colors screen in I move a usb cable after that I can not start any more if you have any info which it can help I will appreciatively

remove the batterry for a days time and check the next day have tried the same and with success

You should find an extra usb cable and expose the black and red wires. Plug the oposite end into the usb port on your computer, then hold the red wire on the positive end of the battery and put the black wire on the negative end of the battery. Do this for about 30 seconds then put your battery back into your phone. This will restart your battery.

I don’t have problem with battery , battery is working OK , I test in other xda , I have problem with XDA , is dead during upgrade , I put wrong upgrade and it stop on 3 colours and I move I usb cable and after I can not start power on or rest . If anyone know how please reply

Hi
Have u tried to force bootloader mode (the tri coloured screen),it is done, by pressing down the camera and while keeping it pressed,than press the power on button with other hand. It will switch on the device in bootloader mode( into the tri color screen) from there than flash the original Rom of ur carrier,which came pre-installed on the device or any other Official Rom from the same carrier.U can download official rom from ur carriers site.
Hope this will help and revive ur device.

Can you enter bootloader? Hold the COMM manager button and soft reset.

Have you tried entering bootloader when the device is plugged into the charger? I know you say the battery works, but that doesn't mean the device can use the battery. Does the device do anything when plugged in or powered on?

my htc p3400i gets an error message "Device start up failed due to sudden loss of power. Please click "Yes" to continue"...this is because of after the upgrade of lomloms GENE_wm6.1_19971wwe fusion9.0 but at first it was working superb...if anyone can solve this....... so plz help me?

After tapping Yes, do not flash again, let it complete and if possible keep the device on AC power, that will hopefully help

Yes, that will help. But if your device doesn't boot up (my device didn't), then while pressing the keys ankit said, softreset the device,
If its happening again and again and if its your self cooked rom, there can something wrong with the OEMDrivers folder. It should not be changed, atleast the original contents.

Plz give us more information about the problem then we can help what do you see on the screen when you try to turn on the phone? when u tryed upgrading your PDA the first time was the charge more then 50% if less it will give a error message.
Read the Upgrade Guide again and look for the Recovery Steps follow that and your problem will be Fixed it worked for me if you cant find the files you need NO_Vendor WM 5 Rom let me know al upload and post the link here for you ok
somehow i menage to turn on bootloader and then the phone was stack there i try to install wm 5 when go to 100% noting happens on the phone after hard reset

My htc gene is bricked.I have tried all the methods. I am unable to recover using Orefkov's method. When I try to press power key or soft reset button , onlr red and green light blinks. Nothing else happens. no charging indecator when i connect it to wall charger. I am even not getting the tri color screen.

I had this issue once when i bought my Gene.it worked.else,you'll have to proceed with the J-Tag method or a better n safe option would be to get ur gene repaired from the service center or a near by mobile shop.

For Jtag a at least bootloder should be there in mobile, but my mobile didnt come at bootloader mode also. When I try to press power key or soft reset button , onlr red and green light blinks. Nothing else happens, even pressing camera and power button.
Its dead. Take it to service center.
first charge ur battery using any other mobile...
and then press ur camera button+power button.. it ll go to boot loader (tricolor) screen..
if u bring it to service center they ll say that its dead..
actually they dont wanna repair 3400 sets..

if u have done with unlocking of the SPL then u cant install 24 march 2007.exe,coz it is original rom for htc......it will give u an error......! try to check your SPL address......if it 00H then its ok.....if its FFH then u need 2 try for J-TAG method....its very easy.....!
