or should i downgrade wm5 to wm3

Hi everybody
I have a big problem:
when i lost the gsm signal the phone is power off and never recive incoming calls ... until i'll power on again.
Is there some settings in order to search the gsm signal always...?
...cause i can't control the xda every 5 minutes if have signal or not...
I have 4.21 radio and 4.00.11 rom

have you tried a hard reset? or even re-writtin the bios?

I need your help .
I've downloaded the 4.00.16 ROM by mistake, it really didn't tell the ROM number, so now I want to revert to a earlier one and I can't.
I've got the following message: "ERROR: GetDeviceData - An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine.
error getting devicedata" and then "ERROR 011: EXECUTE REMOTE COMMUNICATION PROGRAM ERROR. Cannot execute the remote communication program. Please make sure that the USB/Serial cable is properly connected."
PLEASE HELP ME, I'M REALLY STUCK NOW AND DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO...

i have xdaII but none of the version of activesync (3.8 or 4) does not connect to the XDAII.
when i try to connect thru bluetooth in my xda it hangs,, so i guess some problem in activesync in my XDA II,,
the actuall problem why i need to connect is to repair it for not opening the contacts.. it gives this error when i open contacts : "An Unexpected error has occured in this program."
and when i boot the xdaII it gives this error in begening : "Unable to read contact data! (Error Code: F0009859) 101:200:563"
so is it posible to installl activesync again in the xdaII ??

now this one really bugs,
i just upgraded to wm5, not only its an amazing experience, its like being in the future with a xda ii in my hand,
but the problem is while using it as an external usb modem
after clicking start in the wireless modem option,, it shows error :-
" COM OPEN ERROR (8).
i had been using the device as a modem with wm2003se it worked fine.
i am not a techie. but would be glad if some one can help me out on htis one plz

Delete all com ports under bluetooth set-up.
I have deleted all the port on bluetooth set-up but i still cant make my xda ii as a modem.. :'( there still error while opening com port (8) as USB modem... :'( help me please.. :'(

if you get an error on the pda i would look if "auto recieve beams" was turned off
if it's on the pc i would remove all old hidden comports defined in devices
I 've unchek the incoming beam, I also has deleted all the old comport on ny PC, even i 've try it on other PC, but still the com port errors (8) appear. i've also hard reset my XDA ii but still have the same problem. finally I chek the device modem with some kind of tweeking app on my XDA ii, and there's only 4 modem I have on XDA ii,
1. Bluetooh Modem
2. Bluetooh FAX Modem
3. Serial Com (1) Modem
4. and 1 other thing I forgotten
but there is no USB modem built in my Hyma upgrade wm5...
:'( help me please... any one.... :'( i 'll be so greatfull for it... :'(
Notes : i've use Bluetooh as a wireless modem and its works fine unless the speed is so... so... so... slooooooooowwwwww......

What is this error?? Y cant i install radio rom on my xda ??
I've just gotten this error whilst updating my XDA Iii using the updater from the O2 website.
Its now stuck on a screen saying USB and v1.01.
Any ideas?

I would be so glad, if you colud help me!
I made a mistake during flashing and updating my O2 XDA STAR.
At first, I copied sspl-1.16-nike.exe to my device and run it.
After that, I successfully installed 17.09.08 Clean Black OS 5.2.20275, Build 20275.This worked fine.
After that, I tried to flash the Original HTC WM 6.1 ROM UPDATE.
The uptdate process stopped at 10%, than the message UPDATE ERROR 262 was printed.
and now: My O2 XDA STAR is starting in Three-Colour-Update-Mode, but I am not able to flash any imagae!
Every Update-Rom I tried stops with the same message: 0% and UPDATE ERROR 262!
Helpe me please! I don´t know, how to get my device working again!

Just a little hint: for flashing a ROM throughout the Bootloader ("Three-Colored-Mode") ActiveSync isn't necessary! You only need the USB connection which is shown as "USB" in the bottom middle of the device!
