Hi all,
I have a prblm with my whi 200.
I have my BT headset that's working great when I call, or when I need to use voice_command features.
The problem is when someone calls me.
I can't answer with the headset button, because this hang down the incoming phone call.
If I answer by pressing the green button directly on the PDA, I can answer and hear only using the PDA (the headset does not work).
The only thing to do, is answer by the pushbutton on the PDA, switch on the BT headset, and after a while, I can talk and listen trough the headset.
Is there anything to solve this problem ?
Thanks

Short press the MFR button (Multi Function Button with the Motorola Logo), speak name, and the phone will dial the call
did it work for any one ?
Wireless Stereo and Hands Free are both enabled . is ther any other requirement ?
it doesnt have a microphone so no, although it can activate calls on the phone.
what i used to do was pick the call up and talk into the phone, i just got the Nokia BH-501 headset which has a built in mic but i miss my extra hang up and connect call buttons from the HT820.
i can use it as a handsfree headset and can answer incoming calls , so it does have a mic
Its juz that i cant give voice command over bluetooth 4 some reason
yeah i know i noticed that as well except i dont think its the headset that does that just the phone that sees the command and puts the voice recon app into action.
the HT820's are good but not mic good.
I am using a jawbone earpiece that worked fine with my TP2 now when trying to answer a call it disconnects or ends the call when I press the answer button it will only work when I answer using the phone. Defeats the purpose of BT when phone is in my pocket
any help is much appreciated
Ok friends ...
I tried many solutions but without any luck ...
So ... the problem is:
I have 2 different bt headsets ... one is a bt mono headset (motorola h375) and onother one is a bt stereo headset (SE MW600)
I changed rom because of stability problems (not related to bt): with my previous rom I was able to set all bt settings (sorry for repetition) in the best way for me ... all audio of my LEO was audible through both headsets (music, alert sounds, the instructions of TomTom Navigator and so on), bluetooth commands worked well (start and stop a call, vol up and down, bluetooth voice commands through Cyberon Voice SpeedDial and so on) ...
Now I've done all the same steps with my new rom (a energy rom with dinik's theme) ... all works well with bt with both headsets except one thing ...
When I have an incoming call, the sound of the ringtone is reproduced just in one device: if the ringtone is reproduced by the phone, no ringtone (even the default ringtone of the bt headset I'm using in that moment) is reproduced by the headset ... but when I answer (with the bt headset button) all is normal ... I can hear my caller and He can hear me normally
... instead, if I change some settings (like HideConnection registry key, the "reproduce system sounds ..." setting in the bluetooth menu-->settings-->advanced-->audio ... and so on), when someone call me, I can hear the default ringtone in my bt headset (not depending on which I use ... it happens with both my headsets) but the phone doesn't reproduce its ringtone ... like when it is mute (but it is not)
I've looked in bt settings, in the registry ... but I can't find a way to change this strange behaviour ...
I just want to hear the ringtones in both devices when a call is incoming ... in the LEO speakers and in the headset ...
Just how I did till I changed rom ...
Can someone please tell me how to solve this problem?
also any idea is appreciated
Thanks in advance
Regards
EDIT:
forgotten one thing (I don't know if it is important or not)...
I use (also with my previous rom) audioroute in combination with Cyberon Voice SpeedDial, so I can manage voice commands through the button of my headset (without activating Voice SpeedDial from the LEO)

Hi
OK this is not strictly a bluetooth headset its actually analogue pluged into my laptop.
I have got music playing via Bluetooth
It also receives calls from the phone via BT and the headset can hear the caller and I can speak via the headset mic
so all is quite good.
Question is can you enable a delay to answer, so the phone rings at least once. Currently it just answers and is quite seamless if it was not for the music player die down I would not know someone is calling me.
Perhaps I should be using some application on the phone or PC to configure this. Perhaps someone can suggest a good PC dialer for bluetooth that has these options.
Any other tips on using BT via a laptop and headset would be great.
cheers.

Hi.
I just bought Klipsch x7i headphones to use with my galaxy s3. I am aware the volume buttons do not work for android devices which is fine but I assumed everything else would work fine. This is not the case.
The headset (and mic) work perfectly when MAKING calls to others, but the headphones become disconnected when RECEIVING calls (headphone logo no longer shows), and I can no longer hear the other person or speak to them through the mic.
What's the deal? Are there any apps I can download to help or do I have to return these headphones? After searching for an answer I have found out that third party mics do not work for the s3 but what I don't understand is the fact that the headset/mic DOES work when MAKING calls but not RECEIVING them.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
OK. I've narrowed down the problem. The headset stops working when I press the middle button to receive calls. In other words, if I answer a call using the actual phone, the headset works fine. If I do press the middle button to receive a call, I can no longer hear the other person nor can they hear me through the headset.
I noticed the iphone 5 headset works exactly like the klipsch x7i and has the same problem for me. Does anyone use the iphone 5 headset with the galaxy s3? Does the headset work for you?
I recently bought the Nocs NS400 (iPhone version) and have exactly the same problem. Google Now is also not listening to my headset when I press and hold the middle button. Receiving a call via the middle button somehow mutes my mic for good (and for all eternity until you re-plug the headset). When I am in a call and connect the headset later on, it's not transferred to the headset mic.
I re-soldered the volume keys (added some resistors) to make them work with the S3 (woks fine now) and figured that the original headset is doing something different with the middle button: while the iPhone headset is just doing a short between mic and ground, the original headset is having 50 Ohms here. (maybe that's [part of] the problem)
Could you find out more about this odd behavior?
