Dialing + handsfree problem - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam Accessories

Is it just me or does the 8525 automatically use bt handsfree when dialing? sometimes i just want to use the handset instead of handsfree, but after dialing then i'd have to manually turn the handsfree off thru the menus... it gets annoying to have to do that
are there any apps that asks to use which when dialing?

is there no solution to this? or am i the only one having this problem? =(

Bluetooth a2dp & headset conflict

Hi,
I use my iMate Startrek with a set of a2dp headphones (the iMuffs), and I have to manually tell the phone to connect to the iMuffs using a2dp through the "Set as wireless stereo" option in the settings, can this be done automatically?
Another thing is that if I get a call while listening to music, the microphone on the headset doesnt work very well, and I have to shout for the person to hear me. I think that the mic in the headset is not being used. Has anybody had this problem and solved it?
Does anyone know if there are some registry settings that need to be tweaked to get these problems solved?
Thanks a lot.
I use an itech s38 and doesn't have a problem with the mic.
I do have problems with automatic connections.
after setting up properly, if the headset gets disconnected,
the next time it reconnects by itself is always on the headset profile
and mostly only connects if i make a call
So even when no indicator is shown I would assume that seconds
before ther call is answered the sound would be transfered to the headset
that's not so much of a problem
what really sickens me is that if i wanted to
listen to music via the headset when headset profile is connected
i would have to
1.hit the stick once to go to comm manager
2.hit "2" to turn off BT
3.exit to make sure action is done
4.hit center to go to comm manager again
5.hit "2" turn it on (making sure it doesn'ty connects to headset profile first)
6.hit Settings to go to BT settings (hit one or enter to getto that's two presses)
4.hit menu
5.hit devices
6.hit menu
7.hit set as wireless stereo
8.hit done
9.hit done again
10.hit exit
11.hit start
12.hit windows media
13.mess another big while in windows media playlists
..........
now that's too much ... many places i could use the home button
to exit quickly .. that's not what's frustating
what i need actually is a shortcut to the BT devices page
and a smarter profile to connect to wireless stereo for me
without having to turn off headset profile first
I am using HP Stereo Bluetooth headset with my QTEK 8500. It works fine besides the reconnection. If I turn the headset off in order to reconnect I have to go to the BT settings and set the headset to Stereo Headset again. I beleive your problem ocurs because your headset is also a handsfree headset, which HP is not.
I do beleive this behaviour is by design. Although I do not seen to understand the logic behind it.

Bluetooth headset issue

Hi, who has problems with his Bluetooth headset after the WM6 upgrade?
My Bluetooth headset used to start looking (by beeping) for the last connected device when I power it on. It doesn't do that while paired with my X7500 WM6. It does start looking MANUALLY when I press the call button on the headset and when it's connected (you see the headphones icon in the phone screen appear), it only stays that way for a few seconds. The headphones will disappear again and the connection has been lost.
When I then push the headset call button again, it starts looking again, connects again, and then disconnects again after a few seconds.
I first thought it was the headset, but it works just fine on all other devices I have, but just not the X7500 anymore. I'm sure it has something to do with the WM6 upgrade, because it was working the proper way while running WM5.
Any tips or suggestions??
The icon disapears, but calls still go through to it when they come in for me.
Have you checked to make sure it doesnt actualy work when an incoming call arrives? the icon is misleading.
No, the connection is lost when the icon has been disappeared, because the headset will start reconnecting/looking for the device when I press the headset call button.
If it was still connected it should initiate the voice speed dial.
strange, i have many headsets and dont have that problem with any.
I do have it randomly stop talking to the headset at all, and require a delete/repair, (one headset still wont connect, but i think its a crap headset issue). but when paired, they normaly behave afterwards.
Im on wm6 btw.
BUMP. This has been happening for me since my WM6 upgrade.

Please can anyone can help with this ?

Delete and pair
I have had issues with several Nokia phones when upgrading firmware. The other bluetooth units, previously paired with the phone, still thinks that they should be paired after the upgrade. Only issue is that the phone has totaly forgotten of all paired devices. This resulted in many connection errors, when the peripherals wanted to connect, but the phone refused. Can you somehow reset the headset? Delete the pairing on the phone, pair the headset with another phone/pc, and then, re-pair it with the athena again. Just to make sure that it has no old pairing info.

Spontaneous dialing after connecting to carkit

I have an issue with my phone (HTC P4350) and/or carkit (Parrot MK6000) which occurs about once a week.
Directly after the phone connects to the carkit it starts to dial a number without me asking to do so. I immediately break off the dialing, but the carkit remains active so that the radio remains muted. When I switch off bluetooth the radio comes back, but when I switch bluetooth back on the stupid thing starts to dial again. It can only be fixed by restarting my phone.
Are there any other people with the same problem? Does anyone know what causes it? Does anyone have a fix?
Regards, Geraldo.

[Q] bluetooth headset / phone lock

just got a Samsung bluetooth WEP450 headset, and for some reason i cant just press the button and use voice command while the phone is lock. But when its unlocked works as it should. I had an older headset i replaced, it did it no problem. Anyone seen this or know a trick or setting?

Question Bluetooth audio in car

After a successful bluetooth connection (Audi Q8), the call sound is not from the car by default, but I always have to manually switch it to blueooth in call settings on ZF9. Even if I select the bluetooth sound on the phone during the first call, I have to do it again during the next phone call. It also happens when I make a call through the car display.
I tried pairing again several times, changing the bluetooth name of the phone and car, unsuccessfully. The problem persists and it is quite bad.
Does anyone have a similar issue? Or an idea for a solution?
Thx
