i tried to update to wm6.1
then my phone hanged to the boot loader screen.
i tried to reverse to the old way i get the error 300 invalid update tool,
i tried to upgrade the hardspl using the upgrade tool it replies the same error
i tried to use PVtemp, it replies the same.
can anyone help me ?! PLEASE URGENTLY
btw i've search the forum for answers specially http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=353547 which was very helpfull but still have the same problem,

okay let me explain, the rom update utility shipped in PVtemp file seems not working and always gets that error 300.
i used ftp://xda:[email protected]
and the same nknbf file it worked fine till now it's 82% now wish me luck
am planning to do HARDSPL afterwards ..and reupdate with the WM6.1 again

what was the full path of the tool you used to fix the update tool problem? im getting the same thing and it sounds like you might have a viable solution, but the link is broken.

My htc could only start in bootloader mode and it seems to freeze in this mode(i can tell this because when i remove the cable it still writes USB in the left corner). How can i flash a rom to it. Please help me.

where no one read my sticky thread??
In tried Sd flashing(none other way works(
it stops for 5sec on
"Checking SD content"
but the processbar doesn´t change and then it goes to bootloader without changing anything.
i have same prb with my imate kjam... i tried to upgrade now its dtuch on start..

Oh I see now... file open error.
you've got issues with your user permissions mate, I suggest doing this while logged on as admin, or failing that, run it all from the root of your HDD
I had this same error as well I reccomend what he said above also Make sure no firewalls are up AT ALL !
My firewall is what gave me this error message ... Hope this Helps

Its post #1160, you don't need to use the pc at all....
I prefer to use the sd card method to install os's too as I personally find it safer..

I have the same thing utility error 240. I turn off the firewall, the active sysc is good, and able to flash kaiser-HardSPLv1 but unable to flash new rom due to the 240 error. Help please?
siracer27, this is the Hermes forum... Can't really help with Kaiser...
Hope you didn't install Hermes Hard SPL on your Kaiser cos you will end up with a brick if you did...
I understand this hermes forum but try to search for error 240 and wasn't able to find it except here. any help, i have att tilt..
Only thing I can suggest is, if you're using XP, then upgrade the .net framework to 3.5.

i hav resolved the update utility problem but ow i hav tried to update it in bootloader mode in using usb cable and mini sd methode flashing , in the same case it's stopped at 16%.Someone can say me how to do for my upgrade gone untill 100% ?

1. try changing USB cable.
2. redownload ROM, it may be corrupted.
yes but now i can't restart my xda. charges is on but don't wanna to start.and i hav ever try with usb cable.Wich rom do u think i hav to try if i can deblocked him ?
i done a brick test .it's ok.let's me know wich rom cuz all roms stop at 16%.thanks a lot

try downgrading first to original o2/MWG WM5 then flash to any cooked ROMs

did you remove miniSD when you flashed via bootloader?
yes .same result.
I mind me something after read forum and wiki.my device is not locked and i should done a cid unlock or a hard spl ?
Cuz i hav download all rooms and each stop at 14% same in mini sd and each time i got the spash screen.
Someone can help me about this

kind to flash by boot loader ( ACTION+SOFT RESET ) by USB cable ,if you use
SD card it risk to brick atom.
Guys i tried to upgrade my imate jasmin, to wm6 the problem was that it started to upgrade the rom but the process was interrupted, when i tried to turn it on again it does not pass the initial blue screen that gives the info of the rom. The active sync does not work because the PDA does not connect to the computer and doesn´t pass from the initial blue screen.
Is there anything you can do, or the PDA is to the trash.

well i used the rom that is the upgrade for wm6 that is on the portal, the one that is for prophet, but the upgrade didn´t reach the end and now the pda does not pass from the blue initial screen and it isn´t possible to achive any type of conection to the PC i don´t know what to do...

Bro. Try the methode found in the sticky:

In ur case, although the connection seem disabled, we could still force the activesync to work for flashing. Just right click the activesync icon in lower right corner of ur pc, choose connection, force it to search the usb. retry once or twice if u r not sure, then try to reflash the rom while the activesync seem still searching for devices. If it won't start, then the better way is to follow the step from Dioxda2 above. If it started halfway as before mean u have to re download the rom with its all suitable methode such as Hardspl, jumpSpl etc.
This work on my Dopod 818pro while stucked on 3 colour bootloader screen. Hope it will work on ur case too. Good luck.

first problem is flashtool is now saying scatter file is not LEGAL and then i get another saying brom error (1013) port fail... the preloader what was the big problem at first but i installed that after an hour or so...i just can not get this device flashed..nightmare...
please point me to what i am doing wrong
and when i try to use MDTflashtool i get error Microsoft Data Access Components 2.1

I really thought it is not this hard to flash a phone, but I got into for me unsolvable problems. I tried to flash my phone and I used a step by step tutorial how do to this. With the flash tool, also the green circle appeared at the end, but since then I cannot use my phone.
Afterwards I really tried every driver, every ROM and different flash tools I could find to reflash my phone again, but without success.

I get the 4032 error message, and it means that I am using the wrong driver. But I installed different drivers so many times, and its still without sucess. What can I do?

On my phone box it the date 25.09.2014 (on a sticker with a bar code).
Where do I get the right preloader? I tried everything I found, so I am not sure, but lets give it a try! Thank you for your help.

Hi. Just replace the preloader in your firmware folder , prepare to flash like the last time, open flash tool, load scattre file, delete checksum.imi if exist.... bla bla bla.
Flash with this preloader and tell me if it works !
