I've just upgraded my Atom Life! to WM6.1 but I have problem with Calendar program. When i try to all a new appointment, 'The database for this application has been deleted or is corrupted. Restore the database from a backup.'
When i try to add a task, the error 'No memory available. Tap Start > Settings > System tab > Memory, stop programs that did not automatically stop, and try again.' However, when i went to check the memory, theres plenty of memory left.
I tried hard resetting but to no avail. I flashed my ROM again and its still the same... Can't seem to solve the problem. Please help me! thanks!
By the way, i flashed the rom using the one created by PDAVIET. My apologies for the long thread and if i put the thread in the wrong forum!

Hello everyone,
I'm missing the Bluetooth icon in the tasktray and noticed that I'm missing "BTIcon.lnk" in my "/Windows/StartUp" folder. The registry [HKLM/Services/BTIcon] is in place so I guess the shortcut can be the reason why it is missing.
Can someone check and tell me what file/program the "BTIcon.lnk" is a shortcut to, so I can add it manually?

i have the icon but havent got any "BTIcon.lnk" in startup
try doing a search i recall many people reporting that issue
because of bluetooth tools or something and they had a workaround to get the icon back

Go to Start, Settings, Today, Items, unmark everything, make soft reset, and BT icon will return. It returns to mark everything and finished.
Thanks for your tips! The BT-icon appears again if I unmark everything and do a reset.
I then tried to activate the today plugins one by one and found that PocketBreeze (version 4.00.16 or higher) was the problem. I went to their homepage and found that this was a known issue. A fix will be out very soon...

I have qtek 1010 german version! After i read the links i decided to upgrade the rom version, because i barely manage in english, not to metion german.
I downloaded a rom from http://www.romkitchen.de, i complete the setup with no errors and i thouht it was a success. Now in start menu i only have Recent Programs (with no access to tap on it), Today, Find and Help, and the screen logo xda-developers.com. Cant do anything the best result when i tap something its : "No program memory available. Tap Start>Settings>System tab>Memory, stop programs that did noy not automatically stop, and try again". But in start i have nothing
I downloaded another rom version 4.01.12_ENG, but now i can not connect the pda with activesync, so i cant make another upgrade.
So, please, help!!

Hello there.
In some occasions the roms versions has that problem, that is after upgrade, you cannot upgrade another one.
Itś simple, if you have a card reader external, you create a image from OSImage available in this site to the SDcard.
Then you reset the XDA by pressing the on botton in the same type you put the pencil in the botton of XDA.
It will start with Bootloader, then if ther is no problem at all, it will ask you if you want to install that rom that you have on the SDCARD.
After finnish you have to do a Hard Reset.
Then i think for mi experience that you have your problem resolved!!!

You need to do the clear storage. Goto Start > settings > System > Clear Storage.
Back up anything important first though and it should work
alternatively simply perform a hard reset.
I'd like to sell my HD2 running Android. However I cannot get it to reset the gmail account that I entered on it. These are things I've tried just so you know I'm not being lazy. Also please be gentle if this is not in the right area. Its a windows based hd2 running android so the correct section was a little confusing. Also I didn't flash it and of course the person that did isn't around compounding the issue. I need to maintain the flash but if I can't I can't .
1. data reset, several times
2. deleting the account ( I get an error saying, " This account is required by some applications. You can only remove it by resetting the phone to factory defaults blah blah blah").
3. Going in and clearing "google apps" which doesn't exist.
I appreciate any help.
save all apps and data with titanium backup, move apps to sd card. and do a factory reset. sounds like you have a bug. and it needs a reflash or something...
first, turn on wifi. then reboot your phone with wifi on. try to delete account now.
not sure about how it works on a hd2 running android but you can not the main gmail account when android is loaded.
I would recommend booting into recovery mode ( not sure how you would do that in a hd2 ) and doing a factory resst from there.
Only solution is to delete all android related programs off of sd card and reflash, thanks a million though guys.

I'm having a similiar problem. I have an HTC HD2 from Tmobile that now has Android 2.2 that I installed from DFT. I am now wanting to give this phone to my son and unable to remove my gmail acct.
Here is what I have done:
1. Manage apps>force stop & clear all data for google apps & reboot phone
2. Settings>Accounts>delete account, etc... (given error message and unable to delete)
3. SD & Phone storage>Factory data reset (phone reboots with all information still the same)
4. Soft (pressing yellow button on back of phone)
5. Hard reset (holding both volume buttons, etc...)
6. Install root explorer (unable to find accounts.db file)
7. Ask store associate for assistance (no help at all)
8. Search the internet far and wide for past 2 days to no avail
I'm not worried about any information/apps that may be deleted. I just want my email deleted as the primary.

I recently rooted my Xperia Pro and after I finally did it, I have a problem now. The mobile internet isn't working. I can activate it, but the E- H- or 3G-symbol isn't shown and the internet doesn't work. I read in another forum, that my APN-Settings may be wrong, so I tried going to "Settings > More... > Mobile Networks > Accespoints", but this menu is empty. I only see the headline "APNs", that's it...
I deleted some apps, perhaps that's the problem, but I did a backup of the system/app folder. If that's the problem, perhaps you can tell me the app I need to reinstall...
I don't want to reset my phone completely, it was complicated enough setting it up once, I don't want to do everything again, so please help me...
