using SD card hermimg thing doesnt work.. using PB+KITL thing also doesnt work...
since bootloader version is 0182 I'm not hoping to use gsm
just use it as a PDA is my only dream right now.

Two days ago I bought my first PDA, an HTC Hermes Vodafone, from ebay Uk. Because I'm italian I have tried to install the italian ROM ( ITA 1.18.258.2_1-17-07_SPL1.04_Radio1.27 ) . When I launched the update software, everything was seems to be fine..but at ~10% of upgrade the pda software sent to me an error 262. I followed the recovery procedure, but after did this, when the PDA try to boot up, it stay freeze at the HTC logo (before the procedure there was a vodafone logo) . If I boot the device holding OK+Power ON I can see the following lines:
HERM200
IPL-1.01
HERM200
SPL-1.04
Please, help me to restore this faboulous pda..I need it works again, also in vodafone rom versione doesn't matter, I wanna my pda back..

in all xda-developers not have solution for this, y have read all and i habe searh and nothing found for this error
Problem solved installing the following rom
RUU_Hermes_VF_IT_2.07.165.1_6275_1.32.00.00_108_Test.exe
not one, but two times..cause the first time it was crashed with error 294, then, without unplugging the pda, simply restart the RUU_Hermes_VF_IT_2.07.165.1_6275_1.32.00.00_108_Test.exe .
This worked for me

Ma Herm200 Stops At Windows Mobile Logo
i triedto use pof's program (HTC_Hermes_SIM_CID_Unlock_v3a) and now apeears first the htc logo and under it appears:
(HTC LOGO)

then appears vodafone and stops at windows mobile logo.

I try too unlock it with universal simlock tool....(stupid)
and now sometimes it hang on windows screen...
sometimes on my T-Mobile screen..
and if i turn my hermes on its says NO GSM
(something wrong with the radio maybe?)

Nope since he states he has spl 1.01
I dont think its bricked because it still boots to windows splash and today screen. I would flash spl7 and then a full ROM should fix the issue

During th eflash of my rom radio with 1.54.00.10 the program stopped and my mobile restart in bootloader.
The problem is that the flash program doesn't want to restart flashing and my mobile stay on bootloader menu.

Did you try to flash your original shipped ROM entirely to the device?
What is IPL/SPL on your device?

I flashed with RUUWrapper.exe on my PC with usb connection but during the verification the soft said me error 260 the device not connect.
Is there a possibility to flash the rom radio without PC, directly on my mobile ?

Looks like the FLASHING TOOL is not compatible to your device! What OPERATING SYSTEM are you using?
I am not sure if your device is already CID unlocked?
If you run on XP and your device is CID unlocked use the CustomRUU (search the forum), if not: read the WIKI!

HELLLP (ive been upgrading since the xda II) and i recently got a tmobile hermes with wm5! then got wm6 upgraded it and got to about 78% and my pc died and then i tryed recovery did not work had to go to work so i left it! got back and ive tryed so many more upgrades of the image with no luck its stuck on splash screen! ive placed it into bootloader mode then ran ruu wrapper and it gets to the bit of updrading (25mins and a progress bar) and the phone goes white with upgrading image 0% then on the pc i get error 262!! and thats as far as i got please can some1 help thankyou so much

So Ive been messing around with a herm kitchen. I built a rom just how I wanted it basically as lite as possible. I put only the apps I felt I needed then downloaded shamanix apps. I was excited!!!! I began running the ruu and it completed everythings good right?? Wrong im stuck on the second at&t splash and it wont go any further. I cant get it recognized in mtty soo I cant see if I have bad blocks. I cant see the info. I tried flashing the q-tek wm5 rom no luck. The funny thing also is that its got the MFG spl 1.01 and I cant run any version of Hard-spl. The only info I have is. I looked through the wiki I've tried alot of different things. Im lost on what to do. I've run into some problems before with the Wiza family but I've always managed to unbrick the devices both g3 and g4. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ill donate to anyone who can help me fix the problem.

Try SD card method to flash official rom (read wiki). Also what kitchen did you use and what files did you delete?
I was trying to sim unlock my friend softbank X01HT
so i was running the greatest pof unlocker v3
and it was successful (unlock cid and sim)
but after a reset the X01HT showing USIM window
and asked to input a code.
in the faq,pof suggest to update the rom to english one or to use the uk unlocker until it ask for unl files. so take the second suggestion and use the uk unlocker.
the usim are not showing anymore but my signal are not showing also.
only a ! icon in my signal bar
already tried to using the unlocker a couple times and the result it the same
and pof say maybe your device was pre april and it cannot be unlocked for a moment
and pof say to use mtty to check the bootloader radio version.
so help me answer this question please
1. why in mtty are not showing "usb>>" but only "cmd"
i tried to type "rtask a" but its say command error. i already disable the usb in active sync and connect to usb in mtty. tried also in another comp but still not showing the "usb>>" after i click enter twice.
2. is there any other method to check my x01ht was have the protection unlock or not ??

Read the past forums about post April X01HT
Can you read some past forums about X01HT, post april so you can understand how to unlock it,so in your case, 1.14.01.10 radio is not possible yet to sim-unlock, but my friend here transfer the old hermes (X01HT signal IC) to the not unlockable one, it is a success after sim unlock it, the problem is where to get some hardware (Signal IC's) for X01HT.
Good Luck, try the hardware radio transfer then unlock.
