I have bootloader version: 1.03
When I turn on my xda i see only screen:

i think that my xda is dead how can i repair this?
I try flash my device using sd but i dont have this option in my bootloader..
You should be able to upgrade your device using the HimaUpgradeUt program. See my post here for information on what to look out for, etc.
I think thats is not good way because i cant connect my device to pc using activesync.. i have only bootloader mode on my xda..
That doesn't matter, the upgrade doesn't need Activesync. It looks after its own connections.
I just connect my xda in bootloader mode to usb. The activesync not saw may device but i run HimaUpgradeUt.exe and my device start upgrade! I have Germany ROM now i upgrade this To same English ROM.. Before i do this that way program show mi error 102.. now its look like everthing be good.. we will see for 5 minutes.

That's OK. As long as the PC said 'Congratulations' its all done. Take your device out the cradle, hard reset it and it will run the standard setup.

to dcs: I'm now upgading my o22'Rom from v2.06 to 2.20 (translated frm chinese --> english). after I completed fixing country ID, I have a new erro (erro102: CE image file checksum erro. the Rom image file to be used for the update is corrupt). I try to download again and update but I fail, the erro is 102. please show me hoe to pass this erro.

I’m trying to upgrade my radio rom, and later i would like to try the new wm6 vanilla. But every time my phone goes in to boot loader mode, witch is ver 1.04 it writes usb in display, but the rom upgrade software can´t find the phone. How do I solve this ?
Im using vista ultima, and the new sync center for mobile devices

if u are in Bootloader mode the one in three color mode.. U can downgrade surely with PDA viet temp.
In Boot loader mode just reconnect your device to pc through USB . and launch the PDA VIET program..
It should be work.

try flashing NVID wm5 when in bootloader. if you were successfull flash HardSPL and after that you original ROM!
First, disable any firewall
Put the prophet in bootloader (3-clored screen) by pushing CAM button and punching the reset hole at the bottom. When you realease the stylus, the colors should appear.
Then, before connecting your prophet to the PC, first DISable the "Allow USB connection" option in the connectionsettings box of ActiveSync.
After that connect the bootloadermoded Prophet to your PC, it conects as an ordinairy USB device. Then run the RUU of your choice.
probably the better idea is to send a snapshot of your display in fault mode.
do that with a camera. it could be useful to identify the state of your error.
i'm not skilled but here you can find a pool of powerfull developers.

hi i'm newbie here..recently i'm trying to unlocking my xda atom using Button rom or Wizard love rom.The problem is everytimes it try verifyng my phone information, the update utility will failed to connect my Atom..i have check the usb cabel for several times and it perfectly connected to my phone and pc..i want to flash my Atom with PDAVIET_ROM_WM61..so i really hope somebody could help me or suggest other software to unlock my CID..Help PLZZZ!!!!

let me quote the answer from jiggs,
the reason other devices need to unlock CID is to flash other ROMs. CID - country ID. if you have a CHT device and want to move to WWE, BUT there is no CID unlocking in Atom because you simply change the hex values in ROM and you can flash it to your device. So, no need for it.

The phone isnt starting except the BOOT LOADER

SPL 1.10.Olip
I tired all GENE ROMs but its showing UPDATE ERROR 300 [This update utility cannot be used for you PDA. Please get newer Update Utility]

as per ur nos giving it is a old gene(SPL 1.10.Olip is for old gene see my sign) my suggestion is
go to the link below download the ROM for OLD GENE also download a new ROM utty besfen ROM comes with the utty u can also use these roms for ur Gene see 2nd link provided i think ur existing Rom utty is corrupted
besfen has also provided original wm6 u can also try that also

Mr HAREE I tried with the "OLD_GENE_ORIGINAL_WM6" ROM but I am having same UPDATE [300] error..!!!
I am trying every ROM available for GENE please guide me..!!!
My cells manufacture date is AUGUST 2008..!!!
Can you tell me which CUSTOM RUU to use for GENE .nbh files & which option of all those is to be used cause there is no SPL1.10.Olip in it & also the CID unlocker for GENE from bootloader cause thats what only I can access now..!!!!

as per the ur spl mentioned and mine is the same so urs is a old gene i hope the numbers mentioned is right now try this
1.off the phone
2.take batter out press the power button for few secs around 3-4 secs
3.put battery back into the phone keep pressing camera button and power on the phone this should get u the tricolor screed if u get it good attached USB cable and flash an new ROM with ROm utty
or
press camera button and restart the phone with stylus this should also get u the tricolor
if u down load the besfenROM it also has the Rom utty with the ROm us this one and not the ROM utty u already have with u

Pls Explain how it could be happent?? does the update process interupted??

1. disconect the usb cable
2. press camera, then reset, release reset but still press camera, release it if the screen show tri color
3. connect the cable
4. if it say found new hardware, install usb driver for vista, it is in the package you download from thread to did hard SPL.

Well as I said I tired to update the ROM & I messed up but now used XP & got th e the ROM to its ORIGINAL condition..!!!
I want to update the ROM, I tired all the ROM roms but having the same update 300 error, My GENE is AUGUST 2008 manufactured & has SPL 1.10.Olip..!!!
So I need a proper CID unlocker & the proper BOOT LOADER UPADTE & RUU..!!!!
Can you help me???

Is your Gene working at the moment with the .Olip SPL? If yes, then your Gene is already unlocked.
Try any ROM you wish, just make sure that its post says that it is for "Old Gene". You may try a lot of Good ROMs from this forum, I can't suggest you any specific since its against my principle.

try to flash ur device on that tri color screen
if it is unlocked then it will definitely get flashed with any ROM for old gene, and if their is some problem them u probably have a new gene sso try orekfov method to unlock
Why in the world people dont want to read the tutorial properly before flashing, dont you guys give a damn to the phone that you purchased using your heard earned money, doesn't it deserve a little bit of your grey matter?.
First of all, there is no problem in unlocking phone from Vista so i request you guys to not spread this myth. In VIsta, you only need to downgrade your activesync drivers to windows xp ones and everything else goes smooth as pie. If you dont even know how to upgrade your pc drivers even after reading the guide and using the helpful driver update wizard that Windows Vista provides, i advice you to stay away from all this unlocking stuff, this is strictly not for you untill you study how driver updating works in Windows. And all this driver updating stuff is written in the Tutorial as a vital step, still people manage to skip it.
Secondly, if you had given even a little glance at tutorial you would know that if the Olipro SPL doesn't works on a phone, it is a new gene and the Orefkov's method must be used. After using that, phone gets alive right on that moment.
So as always, i wont try to help any futher, this is not a kids forum. If you consider me rude, good for you. But i just can't tolerate ignorance of this level.

@ krazy_about_technology, sorry but I am not a NOOB, i have updated many ROM's but I am using VISTAS BLACK version by AMIT AGARA so I couldn't
update or technically DEGRADE the ACTIVE SYNC, that is the prob with it..!!!
& I have read the whole tutorial almost 10 times but still it didn't help me...
I have tried all old & new ROMs both using VISTAS & XP but my GENE is not getting updated..!!!

Well try on different computer then. Use an genuine, clean copy of Vista or XP and you will succeed.

I have done it on a CLEAN original valid version of XP but the same prob..!!!

Hmm... Have you tried using the Orefkov unlocker method? What output is it giving? Try doing it after removing the battery, holding down the power button for 15 seconds and then then putting battery back and restarting phone in bootloader mode. I will try to get more info on this in the meanwhile.
