hello
i was upgrading my prophet touch X from gullum with WM 6.1 Iphone 1.1.2
buat after i did the upgradeutilityG4 using .nbf file from the zip, my prophet always shows the bootloader and stops. it shows tri colored screen and
IPL 2.15.0001 and
SPL 2.20.0001 only
have i fried my prophet? or have i lost the OS image on the device?
what should i do?
[for mod, if this is not the appropriate sub forum, please move it.]

i had the same problem too some time ago - try to go back to a wm5 rom like nanoscopic step1 or similar and then try to upgrade to wm6.1 again - if it doesnt work again, try the old way.

You didn't "HardSPL-ed" your Prophet. There is a lot written about that topic, use "search", read the Upgrade-Guide. If you still have questions left after that, read the ROM related thread thoroughly.
You better not start a new thread just for aking a common question..... The forum is crowded enough and almost impossible to keep track!
oops...you forget to hard spl..
HARDSPL-ed G4 device should show G4PDA on the bootloader screen(tri colour)instead of 2.20.0001

I have IPL 2.20.0001 and SPL 2.13.0001 ... my device is G4 device...
With jumpspl i have successfully replace current rom of my SPV M600 ( Orange ) ... with Rom by I-Mate ( i have get it from ftp ).
My question is :
I have tried to upgrade to WM6 with New guide to upgrade to WM6 ...but when the process arrive at 100%, my device reboot and show the bootloader ...
I' don't know if it's possible to upgrade to WM6 ... do you have some ideas ???
I think my device is CID lock ! ...

JumpSPL only works once, you have to run it prior to every Rom uopgrade you want to do.
The "New WM6 Upgrade Guide" is based on an other method, namely HardSPL instead of JumpSPL. The advantage is that HardSPL stays resident (until you flash another SPL) so you don't have to bother again with the SPL issue every time you want to flash.
So, if you are aquainted en comfortable with the way you did your first upgrade: Run JumpSPL first and the RUU afterwards, do it again with your new upgrade attempt. The result is the same, it's only one step more to execute.

Rondol1 but i have G4 device ... are you sure that i can upgrade to WM6 ? ... I have IPL 2.20.0001 and SPL 2.13.0001. Do i have to upgrade IPL to the last version, run Jumpspl on device and launch RUU utility with my favorite ROM ??

I have a G4 myself and I have flashed allmost every single ROM that has come out here. Old and New style alike.
You IPL is fine, don't change it. Just run JumpSPL (your Prophet has a white screen) connect it to your PC and launch the RUU. If you want to try more ROM's after each other, you could install HardSPL to save time the next try.

Then I Back to WM5 (SPL become 2.20.0001)
( Hard SPL to 2.G4.4PDA is not effect in my PDA )
Then I can't Up Room to WM6.1
When finish, it's only shows me tri colour.
Now I using WM5.

My SPL : 2.20.0001 -> I can't Up to WM6
If I upgrade to 2.G4.4PDA it'll show "Try with newer SPL version"
I'll find the way to fixed my problem:
1- I Use WM5 AKU2.2
2- I Up to WM6 by Touch 4.0.0.6 from PDAViet. That used 2 steps
3- I use that and run.bat from myPC. Thanks 4 hma4 to upload:

You have a G3 SPL on your G4 device. Not a lot you can do...

You need to flash an official ROM, and then apply hard/soft SPL to the device.

Use an NVID ROM from the wiki.
I have an Imate jamin.. and i installed wm6.1.. everything was goin good..but lately i installed and other rom on it and now it doesnt go forward... it is stuck on the start screen... i need help!!! and i need to download nvid(no vendor) aku 2.2!!!

Not to worry mate ...if u can get the start screen it means ur phone is alive and still have chances to recover it
Pls read the wiki. roll back to WM5 if required..always remember to chk if ur device is G3 or G4

Upgrade from to What ROM? please explain in detail.
And you need to read the guide first, because as far as I know, you haven't HardSPL your device.
If you still see the bootloader (three color screen) it means the device still can be recover.

Good evening friends, I need help with upgrade from rom gene in p3401 old, to perform the release of CID and SPL 1.10.Olip onbl 1.11.0000 GSM 02.98.90 OS 1.11.0.0 and when time passes by a rom ROMUpdateUtility, displays the error of 270 file corrupted image. Tried more than one rom and submit the same message!

Krazy Hello, I followed the tutorial correctly, I read it several times before starting the process, both to make the release of the SPL correctly, my spl is 1.10.Olip with the problem is when passing the rom .. to 3% and is in the reboot of the machine.

How came a new question, I change the initial screen, one that comes with the information SPL, GSM, ONBL, because my OS is the operator's screen, how do I change it for the original HTC .. I'm using the rom wm6.5 thank you
