Upgrading Radio ROM - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam Software Upgradin

Hey u guys, I have 2.60 SPL Olipro (it gave an error when installing it on the 100%, but in bootloader mode its what appears so i guess it is installed ). Either way Im trying to update my Radio ROM and i cant seem do it. Ive got the radio rom file and the custom RUU, although everytime i try to update it gives an error at 7% an the PDA gets stuck in the bootloader and the only solution is to install the orginal HTC ROM. in addition, the phone is not Super CID or something, it is unlocked by factory...

Geez nobody here can tell me how to flash a radio rom? i have superCID, hard spl 2.10... I already have the radio rom i want and a custom ruu, but it always gives me a "flash write" error.

Update fail -- need for help

hi guys, I flashed my mogule few days before, but it failed. I try to flash it by TF CARD and
USB cable, when I update rom by USB cable, it shows
ERROR [270] : UPDATE ERROR
The image file is corrupted. Please check your Update Utility.
when I udapte rom by TF CARD, it shows
0018003
TITAIMG.nhb - FAIL
OS - Fail
Update Terminate
UPDATE FAIL
I can flash radio alone successfully, but when I flash Hard-SPL 2.40 alone,it seems finished,
but in the red - green - blue screen it shows
TITA100
SPL-2.47No2Chem Titan SPL EVT
CPLD-9
I think it does not work, I can't flash any rom (include sprint offical rom) with OS now, it will be failed,
what should I do? thank you.
Try this file.

It will help you get out of the bootloader.
Remember, you have to downgrade your loader to get the radio to load. There is not a ROM Update Utility Compatible with the new radio yet.
I'm not sure which ROM you are trying to load, or which radio, so I can't help you too much there.
The information is in the wikis if you read them all the way thru. Then read them again. Then read them again. And the dudes making the roms include any special instruction in the threads.
Thank you very much
I plan to load DCD' rom 3.2.2, Radio 3.42.30. I'm cooking customized ROM by DCD's Kitchen v3.2.2. Can Titan-exibl.exe help me remove bootloader(SPL 2.47 No2Chem) from Mogul? or downgrade the SPL from 2.47 to 2.40?
Before I load DCD' rom 3.2.2, I want to flash RUU_TITAN_SPRINT_WWE_3.56.651.0_RS_3.42.02_SPCS2.04_PPST_0619_Ship.exe at first.
Nope. All it does is kick you out of the bootloader so you can start over.

HTC TYTN turns off at 1% upgrade

Good afternoon,
I have an HTC TYTN , I have upgraded it more than twice with different ROMs without any problem.
This time, I have upgraded it with another ROM , and the process turns my phone off at 1% (and says corrupt ROM file) , vista is my OS, I never had trouble upgrading from it... except this time.
I cannot read the version of my phone anymore but the version of the new ROM . I entered my boot loader , (I have SPL-2.03) in order to flash it. I could see the upgrade process , but at 1%, my phone turns off.
what can be the problem ???.. Any help is really welcome.
Dude, theres a reason that "Flash Hard SPL V7" is plastered all over this forum....
Try reflashing your stock rom. If you recover it then FLASH HARD SPL V7...
Not all roms are able to be flashed because of your CID (Carrier ID), it won't allow an unofficial rom to be flashed. Hard SPL is a work around allowing "cooked" roms to be flashed.
Cheers...

HELP

Hi I'm looking for some help. I tried upgrading my XV6800 to the windows 6.5 rom but I think I might of messed up. I tried to update my radio first but ran in to issues.
I used Oilpro 1.20 to try and tried to update the radio but along the way messed up while trying an older rom and I'm currently at a Verizon screen with the message "NO RADIO" at the bottom. I'm assuming the radio rom was erased. I might have gotten confused with the roms and used a rom without the appopriate Radio. When I try to flash that rom back to a stock Verizon upgrade it just ends 11% in to the flashing process and the rom update utility returns a Error 290 screen.
Currently I can get the oilpro 1.20 bootloader to still load up but I'm not sure what to do at this point. I tried updating the ROM to DCD's older 3.20 roms, which did complete but I still have that screen coming up. Can anyone give me some suggestions on what I should do next? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Try using NueSPL 2.47 it's more current
Doesn't have have to be run on the phone itself once inside Windows? The only screen I can get up is the Verizon (splash) screen where it normally lists the rom and radio, or the oilpro boot loader screen. I actually can't get back in to windows to run the nueSPL 2.40.exe file.
Is there a way for me to flash the radio back from a bootloader screen and USB or SD card? The thing is I actually tried to take the 3.42.40 radio and use the Flash Rom Utility to see if it would flash the radio rom back on but even though the process completes successfully, I still get the no radio error so I guess it doesn't work. Thanks for the help, I think I may have been a few of the idiots out there who screwed things up and didn't make sure the radio was up before attempting any rom upgrade.
You should've changed the bootloader first. Your radios that you are trying are not compatible with your bootloader.
Flash an old stock rom via SD, then update your bootloader to 2.47 once you can get back into windows, then update your radio, and then your rom.
Yeah that was one of the first things I've tried a USB update back to the stock Verizon 6.1 ROM, but for some reason it prematurely ends at 11% with the PDA Phone Update Utility throwing a ERROR 290 message. This is the first time this has happened as I've flashed with this same rom tons of times. I've been looking online for the past hour on how to flash the ROM from a SD card if I can't get in to Windows. But all I could find was the USB update utility and it ends at 11% Am I doing it wrong? any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
If you can still get in the bootloader then you should be fine....I would put it manually in bootloader holding power and camera simultaneously and poke the hole to get it into bootloader.
Once you do that plug in the data cable and run Olipro 2.40 or Nue 2.47. It should be able to take after that.
Basics steps to flashing a phone:
correct unlocker-->stock ROM-->custom ROM
Most custom ROMs will not include Radios that why you would run the stock ROM first to install the radio and then run the custom ROM. Alot simpler then trying to update the Radio by itself.
AWESOME! I got it back up, thanks guys. For reference purposes I'm going to restate the problem and solution incase other noobs run in to the same issue.
PROBLEM:
I installed oilpro 1.2 during the process of installing a new radio then a rom. Along the way the rom install failed. I tried to reinstall a stock Verizon rom RUU 3.57 & 3.37 radio but it failed at 11%. I was then stuck at the splash screen with a message that said NO RADIO. I could still get in to the boot loader with the power and camera button. But the stock Verizon rom did not install anymore.
SOLUTION:
I used titan_exitbl.exe to exit the bootloader and I went back to an earlier rom found here, rom 2.09 & radio 1.30. That one actually installed. It seems to have worked. I'm back in windows now but I need to uninstall oil pro 1.2 and get nuSPL 2.47 on there before I move further (it looks like while it's still on the stock RUU won't work for me).
Do you guys know how I would go about uninstalling Oilpro 1.2? Will Titan_relocker do it for me? I'm not sure if installing nueSPL over oilpro will do it.
Use this ROm from Verizon to get the Stock 6.1 back up and running. It's the MR2 rom

Glad to hear you got your phone back up
As far as I know you should be able to just install 2.47 and it will overwrite your old bootloader without problems. I could be mistaken but there isn't really a way to "uninstall" a bootloader, just overwrite it with a different one.
unL33T is correct...just run Nue 2.47 and let it overwrite the old one. 8p
Yeah that's what I thought too, but when I tried to over right it with 2.47 the 1.20 showed up again so I used the titan_relocker tool. Maybe I did something wrong. I'll go recheck, thanks for the replies guys.

[Q] [AUG 29] Radio v2 Flash Error

This is my first thread so I hope Im not double posting with my question. I am trying to get my HD2 back to stock, I have downloaded the official t-mobile rom from htc. Whenever I try to flash ROM from sd card or any radio it gets stuck at 96% or 99%. I have tried hspl 2.08 and if I do 2.08.0000 nothing will flash at all. I am at my wits end because I have tried every suggestion and have searched high and low through the threads. Any help is appreciated.
Hey! If you installed some other roms (wm, wp or android) you need program task 29!
It will clean your flash memory. After that you need to know what was the original spl on your phone (like 2.08.0000 or 3.05.0000) SPL, not HSPL! Flash your stock SPL! reboot, enter in bootloader again and connect phone in to pc, flash your stock rom while you in bootloader through pc! It works for me 100% Enjoy)

[Q] Can't flash anything

I have a Taiwan unbranded unlocked Titan still on SPL 1.10 (hasn't updated?).
I can't flash anything, roms, SPL, HSPL. I always get an error along the lines of "failed to get version." The updater detects the phone and I see the loading bar on the phone as well as my computer but it always fails.
Any ideas? Even if it did work I'm not honestly not sure what order to flash things in because I can't find a guide for SPL 1.10.
dude, use y cable to flash a ROM, or since u have 1.10 SPL go and HSPL ur phone.
Like I said I get the version error when I try to HSPL.
Flash Europe_eterity_2.05 or 2.5 ROMm via goldacard then do HSPL
