hey guys,, I did a foolish thing and now i'm stuck!!!
I did the HardSPL thing(apparently wrong!!)
and then i started using RUU flashig the new rom
so now from my SPL on the boot screen i get that the hardSPL didn’t function, and its stuck in boot loader with old SPL
and now that i've flashed the new rom, i cant hardSPL again,,,,
I'm so stuck,
i guess i can flash AKU 2.2 and then hardSPL again,
does it gonna work?
is there anyyyything i can do?

Method 1:
1. Press Camm & Comm button simultaniously. Keep them pressed.
2. Punch the little hole at the bottom with the stylus for a second or two.

4. A white text-message appears on a black screen, telling you to press the send button
5. press the green button(the one you press to make a call).
6. Now, release the Camm & Comm buttons
7. The message on the screen tells you some more about formatting.
8. Release every button, you are done!
Done.... I had done untill number 3.
But a strange at number 4 and 5 !
I stand push Cam and Comm button while pressing green button, but nothing happen !!

what failed??????
1. insert stylus into the little hole (or press power button if your pda turned off) then release
2. immediately press both camera + comm buttons at the same time, wait..
3. on the black screen when you see that question (are u sure u want to format bla bla.. yes or no..), release your fingers.
4. press green button used for dialing..
i understand that you reached up to the format phase, but format is failed.
the image on your pda's rom is corrupted or it coudn't be successfully flashed, so i think you must flash again.
before trying to flash wm6.1, remember to hardSPL your device..

There is this thing called the "wiki" that contains the answer to your problem. It's link includes the words "stuck in bootloader". Take a look, and you should be fine!

after a while without flashing i want to flash the new Shamanix Rom.
So i loaded it, started the application, but after i press "auto detect" on the Bootloader Selection it says "Unknown Version".
So i went to Mrvanx Guide:

The strange thing is, that the flash went through in about 1 second.
The Status Bar was 0 and jumped up to 100 Percent.

After that i tried again to flash Shamanix Rom and selected Bootloader 1.10 manually. The devices goes into bootloader-mode, but instead of starting to flash i get the Error "260 - Couldn't connect to device"

WHY.....would you select bootloader 1.10??? Your bootloader version is 2.10.olipro.
Errr, you can come over and slap me right in the face for this stupidity.
I really don't know what i was "thinking". After selecting Bootloader 2.10 it flashed without Problems.
we all have our moments...............but need to be a wee bit careful with these devices....they can become very can·tan·ker·ous !

press and hold the button on the left side next to the scroll wheel and the power button on the right side at the same time....while holding the buttons down insert the stylus into the soft reboot hole on the bottom of the phone.........continue holding the buttons for a second or two after releasing the reset button at the bottom.

I've flashed my Prophet to ROM Diamond..........
Everything was fine, instalation without any problem...
But when it was done, I've made a hard reset and than it just loads bootloader and nothing alse, when I tryed to flash-back the WM5 it writes that I haven't connected PDA to PC.

connect USB lead press and hold camera button / press reset button still holing cam button a three colour boot screen should appear now you can re flash your ROM using the normal method

what it means is turn your phone off. then hold down the vol button and turn on the phone. you will get a tri-color screen with either spl. 2.08000 (or other numbers) or hspl 2.08xx. when you figure it out, pull your battery and reboot and everything will be back to normal.
but if you didn't install hspl, you don't have it.

I only have a dumped version of RUU_Nike_Vodafone_ESN_1.31.164.09_Ship.exe , I'm not sure it will help you but at least you can give it a try, you can download the rom HERE

You better started HERE instead of using MTTY, it's harder to recover than to brick, most of the time people brick their device by using the command task 2a.
For now there are 2 options.
1. Perform a hardreset :
To perform a hard reset on a device that is not responding to input or not booting to Windows, first remove the back cover of the device. Hold the "call" and "end call" keys on the front of the device and reset the device by sticking the stylus into the small hole to the left side of the USB port. The device will ask for confirmation. To confirm, press the "Enter" key on the keypad. On some devices you need to press the "Action" key instead of "Enter".
The device will reboot and be reset to factory settings.
2. Try Frankenkaiser, see this post.

I think the biggest problem is that your device wasn't unlocked before you bricked it, can you tell me what your device is doing now are is it complete dead.

Ok, your phone is doing more than mine, I also had a white screen and try to flash the original rom, that didn't work so I tried the wwe 2.16 version and it started flashing but stops at 69%, now I have an Upgrade ROM code error in my bootloader, the biggest problem with your phone is that you don't have an hardspl, now I'm reading this post.
I'll keep you informed when I found something.

Hi.
Just tryed to inst. Android in my HD2 and now it stuck with a white screen with the HTC logo.
Is it any way to fix this or do i just trach it?
I am not an expert but this happened to me once while installing SD android.
I reinstalled the original ROM from the HTC site and restored my phone to factory settings.
I tried another version of android and it worked well (since last September).
Only observation is that lately (last two month) my phone hangs a lot on both systems (droid & win) and overheats a lot and when this happens I need to wait for it to cool down (at least 20 minutes) then it accepts rebooting (I am stating this although I am not sure is it from the droid or just my HW is faulty for other reasons).

didnt work hehe still at the white htc logo screen. I migth installed the files the wrong way round?

As long as you can get to bootloader its ok
I would start over from the begining.....
Does it still show that you have HSPL installed on bootloader?
If so, reflash the windows 6.5 ROM that you were using before the android flash.
Then follow the steps in this thread.

Still cant get my coputer to connect to the phone.
I get to the "red green and blue" screen, and it says

Ok when you enter bootloader (red green blue screen) you should see "Serial" at the bottom..
When you connect to the computer it should change to "USB"
You might not see anything happen on your computer but the word at the bottom of the bootloader should change.
I might be mistaken here but Im pretty sure you need "2.08 HSPL" although your bootloader shows you have HSPL installed its not 2.08. This might be the cause of your original problem.
Once it says "USB" your ready to flash a ROM via USB as usual...
If it stays on "Serial" after a few minutes then try another USB port or computer if possible.
Enter bootloader and run the HSPL tool and choose 2.08HSPL......
Then start the process from the beggining.

Is this the rigth SPL ?
Not to intrude on conantroutman here but yes you have to have HSPL 2.08 and a 2.15.50.14 or 2.10.50.02 radio for MAGLDR to work. Without the HSPL 2.08 you can not flash MAGLDR and without the proper radio version MAGLDR will not even boot up.
So to answer your question yes the HSPL you have in the picture you posted is the correct HSPL.
Yep as T said, hspl is good, radio is good. Your all set.
That guide for installing android at the top of the thread is pretty damn good and will have you up and running in no time. Let us know how you get on

You may have to flash WM again to test the call button. Or try reflashing MAGLDR, that may help...

Hmmm its very weird because if your call button works in WM then it should work in MAGLDR....
