is it possible?
manilla is cool but sucks when you are typing and and it goes to home and portrait with keyboard open
I have seen nothing but amazing things on here. dcd and scrosler are the king pins for my titan.

why has DINK got a sticky and not Co0kie?

ok Dink artwork has change the face of so many HD2 homepage, but Co0kie is the one that has made HD2 better whether you have DINK or not
so why the favouritism
because you don't have to start a war here!
both of this mods are use full and great!
thank you Co0kie Monster and thank you Dinik!
because cookies are crunchy not sticky. hehe cookie cookie!
probably shoud huh? since he has a team working around the clock pushing out new releases. im sure an admin can throw a sticky up there if it makes you feel any better
Other question: why are "Touch Tools" sticky and BSB not? Why the heck is this "Marketplace"-crap that was first offering warez sticky?
Useless discussion, but DINIK deserves it, others as well btw...
use both of them, both of them are good. Good thing having two HD2s
because cookie does not need to be sticky to always stay in the first page and for dinik...there are so many threads with his works that a sticky with everything is useful for everybody in my opinion
it is not about DINIK or anyone else
so the thread starter could say insted of what he said :
why Co0kie has not yet get a stiky .
Oh god not another thread about dink dinky or whatever his name is
I asked myself that very same question. When people asked for Franwella's CHT clock list thread to be stickied, the mods refused. But for Dinik, anything is possible.
Could it be because Cookie's thread is not in this forum, it's in the Windows Mobile forum? Dink's is in this (HD2) forum.
Because Dinik is a close friend of one of the MOD and Cookie is not
this is not dinik's fault but moderators that really like to see the discussions continue here
does it really matter, just subscribe to the threads you like, so much easier
All existing threads in the Themes and Apps forum have been unstuck and there is now a single reference thread for all stickie worthy posts.
This is to clean up the top of the thread and categorise threads to make things alot easier to find.

Touchscreen emulator for trackpads/d-pads?

This is going to be a REALLY obscure request, but here we go:
I'm looking for an app or some kind that can emulate a touchscreen's functionality using a trackpad or d-pad already built into the phone. This is something like the Motorola Charm, where that trackpad on the back emulated a cursor on the screen for you to move and click around with, and it would act as if you physically touched the screen when you clicked the pad. I'm looking for this because it would be nice to have a fallback in case my screen stops working, and it would also be nice to be able to click some things in certain apps that won't let you use a d-pad, requiring the use of the touchscreen. (I'm not a fan of touchscreens, but I ended up with an Android phone. Go figure.)
Is there ANYTHING like this out there, or is it way too obscure for anyone to have ever bothered making?

Threading and Android development

Hello,
Sorry if this is in the wrong section, I can't post in the Software Development forum just yet (10 posts rule).
I'm porting a game from iOS to Android. Going very well, just a small issue with the touch inputs; they feel quite sluggish and slow to respond.
Someone mentioned about having different threads for UI and for touches. I'm not sure (still new to Android). What's the best way to go about things on Android, in terms of threading?
My game is fast to update, typically 60FPS etc.
Many thanks,

Running different Panels/Screens from Galaxy (or any Android phone)?

From my own googling, Im thinking this isnt possible ... but thought Id ask:
What: Can you, directly or with tweaking, run say a larger bare LCD (or OLED!) from something like a stock Galaxy S20 mainboard? Straight from MIPI connector as running HDMI would consume the USB-C port (though might have to be the plan-B) that would be good to preserve for charging and all the other peripherials.
Why: I'm working on a project of my own to make a little gaming system with fast guts (ie headless, no original screen) S20 (SD865) but with a larger, ~8" horizontal OLED or LCD panel and not the phone screen.
I'll design and 3d Print a case and use Nintendo Switch controllers.
thanks
