I just got my fuze today and am trying to flash HardSPL onto it. I have followed the instrustions in these threads very closely but everytime I get to the part where the status bar appears on my comp and the phones screen goes black, it doesn't even get past 0% and then on my comp the hardspl RUU program goes to and error page that says Error [260] and the connection fails or something.
I noticed that right before it does that, the comp seems to disconnect activesync from the phone.
Can anyone help, asap!!!!
Thanks.

so while i was upgrading to WM6 at 80% my cat ran by and unplugged the usb cord. NOW my phone is stuck in the tricolor screen. The yellow text says
HERM100
SPL-2.03.
I am following this walkthrough:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1162054#post1162054
and i haven't had problems with anything except that when i try target>attach device i get "warning: One or more services failed to connect. Make sure that the service is properly configured."
and i made sure i did everything right in step 3. If anyone knows why it might be doing that or if theres something that i overlooked, please let me know! I haven't even gotten the chance to use my phone yet I appreciate any and all help offered, thanks!
This is the reason for Hard SPL.... I really dont know if you can fix this...
That is very big problem, try to find thread about SPL2.03.
first of all kill the cat,
second try reflashing the phone with an official rom while on the tri color screen
The Wiki has some info. If the above doesn't work, try what it says in here.
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Hermes_Unbrick
After it's fixed, I recommend looking into HardSPL and even the SD method of flashing ROMs. It'll be harder for the cat to cause any trouble that way.
i have just tried to load the new rom of MiChY. At 88% th pda stop updating and now i have black and white lines to the screen, even i done a hard reset. the pc shows me the mesange "260 error". (so i can' t use ActiveSync). propably i done something wrong
please help
Sorry for my english!!!
i have the same issue only i got to 92% of the rom before it kicked out and left me with the corrupted romm image i can kick off an udate but because the rom is screwed the updater is not getting a valid device id back and i get kicked out at 1% with invalid device id.
anyone with any help or advice would be appreciated
cheers
my apologies for asking a question that seems to have been asked before ifn a different thread, somehow missed those threads when i was looking through the forum the first couple of times.
anyway followed the advice on this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=387454&highlight=mtty&page=4 and then flashed a fresh rom straight onto the device,
so thanks to everyone who contributed to those threads that the soloution was in
it s all ok now
Hi guys,
First of all, if this is in another thread please just link me but i couldnt find one
I tried to install a winmo 6.1 radio on my touch dual, but it only had 6.0 on it in the first place. I ran the sspl program, but whenever i run the romupdate utility the progress bar appears then the program just says an error and to try restarting. This has happened a few times and i'm getting desperate now.
Thanks for any help
- First copy SoftSPL to your device, run it, then install HardSPL..
- Check the radio section for more information..
- Don't worry, everything you need to know is on the board.
- Do some research before you start! ( very important)
- Take some time to go though the manuals.
- Don't try to skip a step or it will fail and possibly brick your device..!
Hi! its my 1st post on this forum, please avoid if its in wrong section.
Well, I have Jasjam & I have tried to Burn WM.6.5 ROM & at 96% I got error.
& after that when I Turn on my Phone, I see the start logo Screen & the phone stuck there, after reading few post here at XDA I have Accessed the boot loader tri-colour screen but don't know what to do with it.. I can see
Herm100
IPL-1.01
Herm100
SPL-1.06
I have read out a lot of posts saying Upgrate SPL , downgrade SPL etc etc
its the 3rd day I am continuously reading posts & every new post is making me messed up with new terms etc..
is there anyone who has the right solution for my Jasjam?
Hi there,
I'm stuck with the same problem as well. What I'd recommend is to wait for at least 30 minutes so that the HTC screen goes away and boots into windows. My TyTN got stuck at 81% in flashing a Schaps rom and the solution I found was to plug it in the charger, start up the phone and wait for a good 30 - 40 minutes. Once it booted into the home screen I reflashed it.
If that doesn't work, try the Mtty.exe tool from HTC. There are quite a bit of posts on how to use it. If it doesn't work then since your already in the tri-colour bootscreen, try reflashing the rom by running setup again. Hardspl if you have to but do not run active sync as it will not recognise the device. Hope this helps!.
PS: Incase your lost in which rom to use, try using a schaps rom. Search the forums for it. Pm me for further instructions since I've recovered my phone through these methods. Try to keep the forums clean!
Hi,
I have been following the HD2/android thread for a while now and thought it was about time to get rid of WM.
I installed HSPL3 via the thread on here containing HSPL3_PKG.zip and just downloaded the Kwbr_HD2_5.4 rom to flash onto my leo. I have put the file onto an SD card and renamed to LEOIMG, however, upon loading it just gets stuck at 'update in progress,' at around 99%.
I tried pulling the battery out and restarting the phone, but I just get a message in a red triangle on a black screen saying 'software update failed, please try again.'
Does anyone know how to get around this?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers.
Bump.
Sorry if I seem impatient, but I can only do this at work, as my home PC is without a motherboard at present (sent off for RMA).
