I have the same problem.
Hard reset -> no result
You need to reflash with a different ROM. There's plenty of discussion about it in the ROM section - there are a number of builds that, unwittingly, have been based on a leaked beta release that has a timeout at the beginning of March.
Simply install the latest Stock ROM, or choose an alternative cooked ROM.
Cheers,
Steve.

you mean flash ROM by using this manual, right?

Hi Steve,
thank you for your helping...
But, I can not run RUU application, because I can not synchronize my phone with ActiveSync application. Any ideas, how to flash ROM without using ActiveSync?
One more time thank you.
Hi everybody,
Im trying to reflash Raphaels ROM by using memory card, but I can not find RAPHIMG.nbh
Can you please help?
Thanks.
When you d/l a rom the nbh file needs to be renamed to RAPHIMG.nbh then load it to the sd card and flash.

but I dont have any file
where can I get it?
which rom do you want?
i recomend PROven 2.4
read this

also do you mean you just want to hard reset?
like make it the way it was when you first got it?
just hold down the down volume key and the enter button whilst pushing the reset button and wait for the screen to say warning this action will revert to default blah blah
Look,
from today morning I have a problem with Raphael:

So Im trying to flash ROM - but I can not do that because I can not connect ActiveSync with Raphael. So I want to do that by using memory card, but I dont know, where to get needed RAPHIMG.nbh file..
Sorry Im noob, I have my Raphael just 2 days.
Not that I doubt you, but how exactly did you perform the hard reset, and what happened? Did you see the bootloader screen?
edit: Forgot about the March 1 crash...
You should not be cross posting.
Hold Volume down and reset. You will go to bootloader. Plug in USB and flash from there. No need to sd flash.
This thread should be closed.

Unless it's a used Raphael, you need to flash hard spl before you flash any roms onto it, and you need to flash hard spl through an active sync connection. Read the relevant stickied threads before you do anything.

Just pick any of these threads that begin with [ROM]. My personal favorite is aruppenthal's; it's as perfect as I've seen. Get the RRE v 4 FINAL 2 WITHOUT OPERA in post #3, then install opera separately.
Problem solved.
After reflashing rom by using memory card was everything OK.
Thanks to all for helping.
Merged 2 related threads.
@ OP, while everyone here is happy to help you really need to do a little more research on your own before postinf questions to such common knowledge. You got half way there on your own and I think you were just a few more posts of reading away from the solution you needed (for both original threads).
Please check the links in my signature for suggestions on how to get the most out of this forum.

Hi, I think wm6 or 6.1 roms have some common problems in all roms which can be discussed here.
I begin first :
I used to change rom by jumpspl and I didn't want hardspl ( i was spl 2.20)
but for the last cloudyfa rom i saw everywhere to use hardspl so i thought there will be problems if i don't do that
but after i hardspled my device to g3.4pda.... and used the new rom ,my device stays about 20 seconds on the spl showing page after each soft reset .
i remember this page went so quickly before that i couldn't read all of the numbers (ipl, spl,os,radio) in it
so the sof reset process takes a lot more time now.
i wanna ask if it is because of the new rom or the new cracked hardspl ?
and if it is the hardspl how can i change it back ?
To change back the HardSPL process, you will need to use an operator ROM such as the Orange WM5 ROM (it's available on the FTP, I'll find a link when I can).
You shouldn't need to HardSPL to flash a ROM, it is just more reliable that JumpSPL or SoftSPL in that once you've done it, it won't revert very easily.
oh my god . that's almost a bad news
i remember having a nvid rom which was used for the previous upgrade way.
i will use it when i wanna do my next rom upgrade.
so you think the spl is the reason for my 20s start up delay ?
by the way thank you as always for your kind answers.
i remember having a nvid rom which was used for the previous upgrade way.

I think the ROM can not be NVID as I don't think it'll reflash the SPL. I would recommend a vendor ROM as it will work (I have tried it).

I've only just noticed that delay, but probably something to do with the SPL.
ok so I will use one of the original jamin roms I have.
once again thanks and pardon me for another question :
since I am using roms above wm5 like 6 and 6.1 the batterystatus program wont do the cpuscaler thing which i used perfectly before.
I asked and tried a lot but could not get it to work. even tried to use XCPUScalar2007_v3-03 but it wanted a lot of testingand ...
I saw that you wrote @286 in signature , what do you use ?
if it's batterystatus can you give me your settings files
I was using Battery status (I use the 1.05 beta version, not sure if that helps) and it works flawlessly.
ok can you show me your setting for the two pages for overclocking or at least your xml setting file ?
another thing :
in the new cloudyfa rom the the bluetooth sound of the caller is much louder and i think that even the quality of the BT stereo music is higher,
but the volume of the caller sound from the device itself is significantly lower than before.
i remember that the previous builds had some tweak for the volume during the call, but in this one its not mentioned...
is this the reason ?
I've just flashed a ROM, so I will have to set up Battery status first and then I shall post screen shots.
I would suggest speaking to Cloudyfa, or putting a post in the ROM thread as it will probably get fixed faster.
useful info..
i'm really interested with the overclock..
i'll be watchin this thread..

but it stays like this:

Newbeeeeee Stuck with sound problem after upgrade
Hi,
I am newbee on this ROM upgrade issue. I tried to follow the upgrade guide as much as i could but after installing 3 or 4 WM6.1 ROM packages i fail to rectify one problem. That is the sound issue. Now even the midi tones set for the Ringing come with cutting. With increasing the volume it increases but this was not happening when i had the original WM5 installed. I fail to understand what step i am missing or there is some codec problem which i am failing to understand.
My steps are:-
(1) Hard SPL the device when connected with PC.
(2) Run the ROM_UpdateUtility_G4..... and wait
(3) Once the device shows 100% and PC gives success i remove the device its battery for 3sec and then softy reset it.
am i missing some important step
Sorry
Try this!

I think you should try to hard reset your device after flashing the ROM instead of just a soft reset.

vetvito on PPCGeeks has extracted the new 3.37.20 radio from the latest ALLTEL ROM 3.35.671.9.

[edit]
You must use a non-SDHC (ie. 2GB or less) microSD card formatted in FAT32 with a cluster size of 4kb or less to flash the radio ROM
Standard SD flashing routine of renaming the RAM TITAIMG.nbh and placing it into the root of the card
There will be 5 pauses at ~14 seconds during the flash
Using the USB RUU method will lead to a likely lock-up at 9%
For an easy way to revert back, here's a link to the 3.35.04 CDMA radio ROM released by Sprint:
http://www.mediafire.com/?1nnegzk3ftw
wonder if could flash on Sprint? i'll wait to see what and if Dcd does something with this!
I couldn't wait -- after a very quick test of a phone calle, GPS, and data, all appears to be fine with the new radio. That's on a build of my kitchen based from the Sprint 3.35 ROM which is an identical OS build as the new alltel release.
I flashed via the SDcard method. Just be patient as there will be 5 pauses of around ~14 seconds during the CDMA flash.
did you do the rom upgrade from the exe.? givin from the website?

I said how I flashed.
You are confusing the official alltel update .exe (an exectable archive composed of multiple files) with this extraction of the radio from that alltel released ROM.
This radio is simply an .nbh ROM file. If you are unaware of what that is then I strongly urge you to read the XDA-Wiki.
Getting Sprint start screen back.
Hey guys,
I had to run the official Alltell release, just because the .nbh file kept getting stuck and restarting itself at 8%.
Not that it's a big deal, but is there a simple way to get the regular Sprint start screens back?
Thanks.
memory stick method
should have done memory stick method worked without a problem. I just didn't want to flash alltel so i decided to give it a try and it worked

even though i knew it was coming from reading this post, man it always scares me to see a progress bar pause for an excruciating 14 seconds.
anyway, updated and it works fine here on Sprint!
i wonder if this fixes battery life
well, I updated! Flashed via SD by renaming to TITAIMG.nbh All seems well on Sprint and DCD's ROM. Calls are actually a little better, the dead spot in my building is gone.

That's awesome! Literally laughed out loud.
Haha, I had the spanish translation for Google as well, you can edit the settings of the page itself and change your location/localization/language within Google's page prefs.
Regarding the radio, here's a stupid question...is it carrier specific?
radios are generally not carrier specific....
if you can somehow get into options
if you can figure out the options you can actually change the language. I've had that happen 2 me b4 the update
I got an error message that stated something to the effect of "your phone can not be updated". It was strange. It jumped to 8% complete immediately, then the error. I was attempting to flash via a dummy RRU folder I have. Anyone flash via RUU successfully?
I have a weird issue.... I can't flash via the SD card.... Here's a snapshot of my SD card info.... When I put my titan in bootloader, with the SD card in the slot, it briefly flashed a gray screen says invalid image.... then back to bootloader.... there's has to be something I'm over looking....

apparently not. I attempted to do so, and it failed after 8%. I read on ppc that SD card was the only confirmed method of flashing. If you find otherwise, please update us.

[FAQ]
Q. Will this update erase my data (contacts, messages, etc...)
A. No. The update only overwrites the radio part of the Rom. But better safe than worry, it's always recommended to have a backup of your data when you're modifying stuff on your device.
Q. The Rom Update Utility wants to update my device to 1.00.000.0. Is that right?
A. Yes. The RUU doesn't show the radio version, it will only show your rom version in the "from" box.
Q. Which version do you recommend?
A. It seems that 3.54 uses up more battery than the others, but not for everybody. I say try the latest, if you find it eats up battery then flash 3.53 which works great.

All radio roms are in .nb, format, which means they are ready to be cooked but I believe cannot be flashed to update the radio only. I'll update when I'm sure.

Observation
For me (orange network in RO) radio 3.54.25.25 is better comparing to 3.53.25.20:
much better signal for gsm(same places for both) and (maybe, I'll keep an eye on it)) better signal for wi-fi...
I'm testing with orange network in France, 3.53.25.20 was already pretty good.
I also found these 3.49.25.05 and these 3.50.25.15. Not sure whether it's worth going through the trouble of downloading/extracting/converting to nbh/uploading as they are probably older, and nobody will be interested.

Another good idea, I agree!
updated title to show latest radio
3.53.25.20 has better battery life compared to 3.54.25.25.
though 3.54.25.25 has better receive with phone and wifi(so if you don't have any trouble with these I recommend 3.53.25.20)
That's just great man!! Thanks for your effort to put them all together here!!

1. Possibility to choose one from several NBH files. Files should be placed in one folder with utility.
2. Possibility to choose the way (option) of flashing
3. Possibility to get NBH file info (Modification date, Model ID, CID, Version, Lang, Chunk size)
Regular RUU (Task 28)
Hard Reset is performed straight after flashing automatically (good for NBH containing OS section)
Custom RUU (Task 00)

Excellent and very convenient tool - thank you very much my friend.
For those who will use it with official nbh - remember that process is "freezing" at 5% - re-flashing spl - so don't worry - just wait with patience. It will continue faster after spl update.
Also remind - how to get to bootloader mode - switch the device off, press and hold Volume Up and Down simultaneously and turn the device on. Then connect USB cable.
Titan Advanced RUU and nbh file should be placed in one folder on your PC.
Thank you, good job
Thank you , good job

hi, sorry for the question but with this tool, does it mean that i can flash a taiwan ROM on my european htc titan ? or is it still restricted to the only ROMs from europe ?
xtrememanix, this tool is just Update utility - flasher. You should wait for HSPL to flash another region to your device.

No info, dude, if it's coming or not.
Actually Titan Advanced RUU has no connection to HSPL discussions ans speculations. It's the same situation as with OsBuilder - current public version supports WMSTORE (second gen devices rom structure) but there's no way to flash custom second gen roms.

GinCifer, if you have a desperate wish to perform one more hard reset manually - go ahead. But it's not necessary.

tried it. it stopped at 5% on phone, 6% on PC. must be my Radar... tried using a Radar RUU with same luck. my Radar won't boot out of the Bootloader. had ordered a y-cable, was going to try Goldcard method.

Hi Sir,
In your sig you have the logo to the original Dev's thread. It would be very nice if you inserted this logo also in your Q&A/T thread on this place: SuperSENSE-dx5.
Go to your sig and click show content. Right click the logo in there and choose: copy link address and go again to your Q&A/T thread's SuperSENSE-dx5. Select it and choose "insert link" and insert the copied link from your sig and it's done.
If you have any problems with it, please PM me and I will help you out.
kindest regards, Kuzibri

Did you install a kernel with sweep2wake (nexuskernel v4)? If yes, then it is a kernel problem as s2w isn't stable yet.

GSM problem
Hi all.
There is a major problem with the Czech mobile operator O2. When I using this ROM(SuperSENSE-dx5 v1.02) my Desire X mobile go mad.
It looks like someone squeezing my screen and mobile is unusable. I tried it with T-mobile simcard and the problem was lost.
After a few attempts I have temporary solution.
I must go to setting and change Mobile data/Network mode to WCDMA only. When there is GSM mode and I have Mobile data ON, mobile is crazy. Any permanent solution/fix the problem?
Thank you a lot.
First of all @GtrCraft thnx for the awesome ROM. Now i have a minor bug that i am not able to see any wallpapers in "HTC Wallpapers" option in setting. Though the wallpapers are available in >>system>>customize>>resource folder but they are not displayed in Settings>>Personalize>>Wallpapers>>HTC Wallpapers.
can you suggest what can be done in this case.??? And also i dont want to sync my Gallery with FB... how to stop that ???
For users on ICS hboot(1.20)
EDIT:
You know what ? since helping people is not appreciated here, i'm deleting my post. Happy ?
Thank you for the hospitality
@crazyjc81... You were already told to delete your post. You don't need to post it again somewhere. We already know how to install JB ROMs on ICS hboot. There are two possible alternatives, if you would have used search before posting. Please delete your post again!
