Need help ! Any program that can allow to view chinese character as well as input chinese character? Have tried CE Star but it always hang my SMS screen (will get blank white screen). Wanna try Monster but no crack. Can anyone please help??

Ce-star has no problem. You are using a cracked version so it GIVES you problem.

Ya! that's right! Stark Wong is the man! I've tried Youzii's EVOen with "IMonly", Gullum's V7, Crystal V1 and Claudyfa's Transformer V1 with both ime-mingliu and ime-msjh aleady. The result is one step from perfect --the automatic word-suggestoin fails after installing the cabs above. Other than that, everything works like a charm!

View simplified Chinese by setting Chinese China on the page of Local Settings ('m not sure whether the needed nls has been changed in your device^^)

I did not use the crack version. Mine was a registered version. but some how it cant load the sms page.

Have you tried the latest CE-Star?
I only encountered some errors when using older version.
BTW, don't just verify v2.8r3 - it often shows "v2.8r3" but has different build I think.
Also, both Simplified / Traditional Chinese I used.
You're eligible to email to Mobem support and ask for the latest one.

Yes, it always happened - That means you actually using different version of CE-Star.
Don't worry about the regestration - I always ask Mobem to send the valid serial no when I encountered kinda problem.
You've bought their product and you're eligible to do this.

I have tried to download the Bluetooth_SAP_profile.CAB but i get an error message saying that i do not have not logged in yet i actually am logged in ...i can however download the other bluetooth protocols you have posted. Kindly assist.

Next thing: is it possible to modify it to work on Samsung SGH-U600, which is PC connectable via Samsung PC Studio? My wife'd like to connect as well...

I too got a scirocco and I have just tried the .CAB and
it worked!!!!
but one small problem is that u can upload the phone book
i got an X1 and got a cooked ROM from this site (cant remember whose though but it was one with 3 options of cooked rooms ) and before the .cab it was not working and no it is...
if anybody can help regarding importing the phone book, i really appreate the help...

I don't know any easy way to disable this popups! Can be a solution to make a windows service for checking this popups and close it, but is a programming hard work, and of course you can loose some ram and speed from your device.

Some suggestions, based on english google translation:
1)
This is a guide for using the AP4 updates, which the AP team has written
I will suggest to add the name of the device (athena, and vendor's name X7500 ,....) the meaning of AP team (Athena Project team) and a web link (forum.xda-dev......)
Also in important IMHO tho explain that the ROM language is WW ENGLISH only, having LOCAL configuration for currency, date, time, numbers, operator

1. It is very important that you observe these rules:
- Only with Windows XP update, since problems could occur Vista
- The cable DURING the process never separate, no matter what.
- This guide is only a portion read further ahead, so that no surprises.
- The battery has about 50% have electricity
I will call this step CHECK LIST before starting, adding
- Remove the Storage Card , if any
- The device should be connected to a USB PC port, avoiding HUB
- Disable power saver and or screen saver, if any
- Don't touch the cable or the device during the update process (only to confirm if asked)
- Close all opened application on the PC, don't run anything during the update process including MSN Messenger, ICQ, Skype and similar (I've seen below but is better to UNIFY the ckecklist I believe)
I suggest to split the check list between DEVICE and PC . Point 1 could be

3rd By updating all available data from X7500/X7501 deleted. Create a backup of the data. Uses example Spb Backup. Microdrive data are not deleted!
I don't believe that SPB backup could restore the applications on a fully new ROM, and if he does the device will never work as supposed. PIM backup is for PIM data,freeware and may be this will work. Microdrive AND STORAGE CARD are safe

Usually HOW to is written and discussed BEFORE releasing the update. Then how to will be released in a final, multilanguage version, with the ROM .
This is a developer's forum, a place were the stuff is discussed BEFORE the release

Beautiful presentation! My suggestions are
1) I agree to have a beer at the end, but I will suggest AFTER a DONATE Link! Also the AP team loves the beer!
2) Flash video couldn't be printed and should be better to have AP Upgrade printed out instead of having a Flash presentation running during the update process!
3) RUU Screens translation is needed for "bad english speakers"

Thanks for reviewing it! I will try to make those changes today.
The print version is contained in lucky post #13. Same content as the flash version, just in *.doc format.
Unfortunately, the only language I know is english. Glad to work with someone on other versions though...

Hello everybody and regards to masters of HTC and clones. I'm from Chile, some days ago i bought a T4242+ from China, as many people here I was fooled too. Device is cool for the price, but i need to upgrade ROM to see if some features can improove general performance. I've searched a lot of forums, here and others and i haven't found solution, this is my situation:
1.- I have this Software:
WM 6.1 Professional
SO CE 5.2.20758 (Compilación 20758.1.4.1)
PDA versión : V03.06.00
PDA Construir : S0908051825(1.33)_BV
Stack Versión : V02.42
Stack Construir: May 16 2009 07:05:05
Radio Versión : 1.3
Radio Package : 2.2
2.- And this Hardware:
CPU Marvell PXA300
Rate 624 MHz
ROM 256MB
RAM 128MB
3.- Hard Reset buttons are:
Green+ Red + Power
No options screen pop's up, just do the Hard Reset at first button combination pressing.
4.- USB Mode Buttons
Volume Down + Power
White screen pops up with this message: "USB Update Mode!" (I don`t know what can i do from this screen)
5.- I don't know if i can flash my ROM with this specifications, neither if there is a spanish ROM to update. I've red a lot of flashing formulas and i'm a little confused , so i need someone to explain step by step (including some software i may need) what to do with this if i find the ROM.

Unfortunately, there is no rom here that will work on your device...
Clones have a very different hardware, compared to the original phone.
You best shot is to dig in the chineese forum i found here, assuming you use google to translate, or understanding chineese, but there is little hope you will find a spanish rom there...
If you are courageous enough, you can try to cook yourself one based on the information you may gather there, but i don't think what you will find on xda is usefull for that, as the tools here are made with HTC in mind, and clones are like devices from other manufacturer (motorola, palm...), regarding the cooking of rom.
But don't try to flash a rom from here to your device, as it will most likely result in a bricking of your phone!

Hi, i manage to extract the htcsensorsdk.dll from paiura's rom, which i learned that allowed to use htc g-sensor software on t4242+ and some other clone phones.
I tested on my phone and worked OK!
Now i can use my phone like mx-air (logitech mouse...)

Just downloaded 'Manila2DENG.nb0' and want to flash using OCTANS Mini-Downloader v2.1. I don't have an .MST and .CSC file, do I have to use them to flash your rom or can I just leave the field blank?

Verry fast rom, but can i ask why the weather in weather tab updates and the one in the home tab does not? and when i want to put programs in the programs tab the resolution is a log smaller and i can only see the programs in a portion of the screen? is there a known bug or somethin? the rest of the rom is awsome, is the only touch interface usable on a I8000 phone because it's fast.

Those are Manila 2d's bugs. We can't fix it.

Thank you for your answer, i find that once you have your interface personalized, tf2d work like a speed racer that's perfectly oiled.
But i have a problem, Active Sync cannot connect to the exchange server from my work place. This only happen to my with Energy rom, because the rom did not enforce referential integrity. Your rom does that but it cannot connect.
Do you know about this bug? i really wanted to use this rom on a daily basis. But i cannot use it unless it's synked, because i have a lot of meetings.
