_____________
WM 2003 not compatible. Probably I will publish sources - maybe someone will be able to create 2003 version.
_____________
If you find it cool, I will create 'StartMenu Manager' like this.
[Start Mod Edit]
Original Cab got replaced with a new 2009 Refreshed Version with higher Res Icon.
Re-uploaded the original Cab to. Original Download Count was around 1247
To bring some life back to this abandoned app i would like to propose a New WM 6.5.3 Start Menu Icon resolution, design contest, for a 2010 Refresh.
PS: it is WM 2003 and 6.1 compatible, most probably also 6.5
[End Mod Edit]
wow , let me try this
Works great for me on a Qtek 9100.
I get a tGetFile.dll nagscreen when I try to modify the storage for deleted files in the options.
I thought also on such an application to hack. Very Cool that you have saved me a considerable amount of time.
Creating shortcuts with options is again and again a very painful taks for some users. I will try your app and post my findings.

I have successfully turned a cab file into an OEM for cooking and it actually worked.

Thanks for that info! I was tried to create an OEM but got about halfway. The screen that popped up that said you have canceled making the package threw me off. Have your tried OEMizer? I think it is easier to use and understand but I have some CAB files it couldn't package like Slingbox.cab.
For some reason, I seem to get better results with PackageCreator. Once you get used to it...it's pretty easy...
I see in thyou are using picture that you are using pakage creator 5.5.
Is it possible to share it with us as i find it difficult to find the version you use.
Thanks and regards
PackageCreator ??
Would you be able to post a link for PackageCreator 5.5? It would be nice to have the latest and greatest.

Thanks,
I finally got a work OEM.
Way easier than OEMizer
Have you had any success creating a working OEM package for MS Voice Command 1.6. I've created the OEM folder, but once installed on the phone, I get errors saying it needs to be reinstalled. I must be missing some registry settings or something. Does Package creator look at the cab and see what registry changes are nesseccary?

I use the Voice Command 1.6 OEM (and many others) from the Apache kitchen's PPC_Geeks_OEM.rar. It (and the others) work just fine on my Sprint PPC-6800.

Hey guys,
tried to look for an answer but couldn't find it anywhere. As in the topic: Does anyone know how to turn the screen tap vibration off in the latest Raphael ROM?
thanks for the answer!
mika
Are you speaking of an OEM ROM? If so, which OEM ROM comes with screen tap vibration? Can you make a dump of it and post it? Thanks.
If its Monx Rom Snailslug TouchResponse can be disabled via Advanced Config
TouchResponce is disabled using the control panel applet, start>settings>system(tab)> Touch Responce.
Or you can just uninstall the app in the 'remove programs' in the system tab, that's what I always do...
hello again,
it's the monx rom 1.60.2 B1208. I looked through the advanced configuration but can't seen to find it over there. cheers

If it's not listed under ROMeoS tweaks. You can uninstall it from the Remove Applications.
thanx for help!
and how about keeping it, but setting the intensity lower? Is the config application reinstallable oder can it be done through the registry?
Settings>System Tab>Touch Response>Adjust the setting (I set it to 35ms, lower settings were erratic)

First thanks for the packages, I got most of the things I liked to include in my ROM.
I am also getting the same screen, I am using DaG's latest 5.08 and then I am using the "PACKAGE_Raphael_PhoneCanvas_Slider" package from your Packages.rar. Can you please tell me what other packages should I add?

For AT&T dialer:
PACKAGE_Raphael_PhoneCanvas_Slider_ATT
PACKAGE_Raphael_VideoShare_CWS_ATT
and maybe the PTT package.
For HTC Dialer:
PACKAGE_Raphael_PhoneCanvas_Slider
PACKAGE_Raphael_VideoTelephony
That should do the trick.

Hehe, Thanks for the guide but I had already read that one yesterday!
It says scroll down and select download the offline files but there is no option to download the files. Also read somewhere else that Google removed that option in the latest Google Search Update so I tried uninstalling the updates and checked, Still the same.
I will keep trying and post if I get any success!
Thanks anyways man!

It's an older Google Voice that Offline works, I think.
Or this guide:
How-To for Working Offline Recognition:
-go to mnt/sdcard/Android/system/usr/srec with Root Explorer (or a File-explorer that can link Folders)
-long press on en-US (or the Voice you've donwnload) folder and choose to link it
-go to system/usr/srec and link the folder here
-after u restart the phone it work!

Researched a lot more and found this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2173381 the OP seems to have got it working by downloading the package files and using them in the folder, Tried that too but still no use.
Do you know any source to get the Language files? Like a direct download link from Google?

Hi,
I also faced this issue but now its resolved. To resolve this issue
1. go to settings->language and keyboard->
2. change the system language to english US and reboot.
3. after reboot change the voice search option to english us
now the offline voice search works but it sucks.
