well the problem is i cannot run apps from the phone bc i dont have an orange simcard (and it is locked by orange)

Talk to Orange, pay them money, they will unlock for you.

tried an orange sim card but it appears to stay locked!! :shock: does the orange sim card have to be from the same country as the phone?
ok i swiftly turned on the flight mode now i can browse

used the registry editor to change values to
HKLM\Security\Policies\Policies\00001001 = 1 (RAPI)
HKLM\Security\Policies\Policies\00001005 = 40 (Cert)
which I assume unlocked security ( as culd not do online)
then used file from http://www.spv-developers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=236

Ok , edited the registry settings and that worked out ok, downloaded the SPV Developers Services Kit , extracted all the files to my desktop. made sure active synch connection is alive, Orange Simcard inserted. I run the simlock function , request pops up on the phone , agree and then i get
Unknown error -2147467259 in read operation in the SPV Developers Services
any suggestions ? I tried hard resetting my phone and tried again , but same result..dunno really
edit : doh , 5 more minutes and i wouldnt have had to post .. The Cert.Cab included in the SPV Dev. Serv. Kit has to be executed from the phone b4 you can run the unlock tool. NFO file with these instructions would be useful but heh beggars cant be choosers....Working !!!!!!!
how did you turn on the flight mode without card?
you have to press the on button really quickly, as the phone is still booting

I tried to unlock Hermes Orange SPV M3100 withe the latest unlocker v3a but couldn't unlock...After run auto unlock v3a, and run hermes unlock at the end, it says unlock successfuly but the phone still asks to enter unlocking code..i've been reading the hernes unlock threads but could find the solution to unlock it..this hermes has ipl 1.01 and spl 1.40 0ipro...anyone knows the way to unlock please help..thanks
sorry..problem solved, phone's unlocked...don't know what happened first but after hard reset phone, insert original sim and repeat procedure, phone is unlocked after that.

hi, I had the same problem. the unlocker went thru the procedure as successful, but was still locked to orange and asked for the code.
I had ran it without any sim.
after I did a hard reset and put in an orange sim, then ran it. it was ok.

you gotta give LOTS of details about your problem. there are literally hundreds of possibilities if you give us no details about what you did, what went wrong, during what stage... have u set up correctly, did you flash hardspl, was your battery full, did you read instructions well or just skim and jump ahead?

I was trying to sim unlock my friend softbank X01HT
so i was running the greatest pof unlocker v3
and it was successful (unlock cid and sim)
but after a reset the X01HT showing USIM window
and asked to input a code.
in the faq,pof suggest to update the rom to english one or to use the uk unlocker until it ask for unl files. so take the second suggestion and use the uk unlocker.
the usim are not showing anymore but my signal are not showing also.
only a ! icon in my signal bar
already tried to using the unlocker a couple times and the result it the same
and pof say maybe your device was pre april and it cannot be unlocked for a moment
and pof say to use mtty to check the bootloader radio version.

1. why in mtty are not showing "usb>>" but only "cmd"
i tried to type "rtask a" but its say command error. i already disable the usb in active sync and connect to usb in mtty. tried also in another comp but still not showing the "usb>>" after i click enter twice.
2. is there any other method to check my x01ht was have the protection unlock or not ??

Read the past forums about post April X01HT
Can you read some past forums about X01HT, post april so you can understand how to unlock it,so in your case, 1.14.01.10 radio is not possible yet to sim-unlock, but my friend here transfer the old hermes (X01HT signal IC) to the not unlockable one, it is a success after sim unlock it, the problem is where to get some hardware (Signal IC's) for X01HT.
Good Luck, try the hardware radio transfer then unlock.

After i did a hardspl and installed wm6.1 my green edition my prophet is simlocked.I used the prophet tools and did the unlock and it gave me some password.But when i press the password it keeps sending me to the pin screen and it always ask me the unlock code.It says unkown sim status or something.What should i do?
When i did the sim unlock staff i had my one and only sim i use.
SHould i try to turn it on with a different sim card?Will it work?
Cause if i need to have the original sim card which was an orange sim card then i am screwed
Do you have an Orange branded Prophet? I think the ROM you are using is based on Cloudyfas latest ROM which puts the SIM lock back on on Orange branded Prophets! I had the same issue and so are no longer using that particular ROM...

well use lokiwiz 3 it just provides you the code...do a search on lokiwiz 3 on the forum....keep win mobile 6 and unlock it through code..it's simple...any other question reply this...work safe

ROMs based on Cloudyfas latest ROMs have SIM Lock issues on Orange branded Prophets.
then the ultimate solution is get it unlocked at a unlocking point...you pay but at least you know you don't do stupid things...or do ass l3v5y says and change the rom....work safe
The issue is with the ROM, and not with the unlocking procedure.

i am having problem in htc niki i have done hard spl as described in sticky thread of htc security unlock and then ran the step 1 it went successfull but step 2 is not working for me when first step completes phone goes off an comes back on and it says in sticky thread that we have to put phone in boot mode so i manually put the phone in boot mode and disable usb in active snyc settings and then i ran the 2nd step but it stucks i can see only 2 lines written

and after this nothing happens i press enter to exit from application but it doesnt go off i am not able to exit then i manually clicked on cross sign on right top corner to cancle the app and then i re flashed the orignal radio but phone still locked any help please i have done 2 to 3 times but not luck

Unlock code? I assume that wiuld be to unlock your SIM.
Please note, you have to remove both SIM and SD card for the unlocking procedure.
I have HardSPL and flashed a british NIKI under "Orange" and was able to use it in the US with a US Sim card under T-Mobile.
I just tried to use it with a French SIM card under SFR and I get a
"SIM Lock" - Enter unlock code Message...
Is there a solution without calling the original carrier?
