Hey all.. I am looking to sell my XDA I, it is branded Tmobile PPCPE, works fine, its been upgraded with the Siemens 2003 ROM no biggie, I know you guys all do that stuff. It is very used, but screen is in really really good shape, the body is so so.. lots of paint wear on the bottom where the cradle connects. Also I have a black Eb flip case for it. Not sure what it is worth to anyone, I kinda think I want $200 for it, but I doubt that is reasonable. Anyone have a better idea what these are selling for? Should I maybe just go to ebay? I might be willing to part for $150 to $175 as well. Any ideas here ? Any interest here ?
I am interested. My wife wants one now after using mine But, I have to sell my 2 Toshiba's first. 1 is an e335 and the other is a e740 (WiFi). The 740 was just factory refurbished under warranty. And I mean re-furbished! It works better now than when new. (new rom ?) Both are as new. The 740 still has about 2 1/2 - 3 years of warranty left through Mackcam. Maybe a trade and some cash?
Give me a holler.
:O)

I got a sprint touch Pro and i've had it for around 4 weeks. I must say, I am starting to think this phone is junk. It is slow, phone comes on and rings after about 3 rings when calling the phone, and I noticed sometimes I have to press something twice for it to reconize on the touch screen.
I am thinking about going to a Blackberry Curve 8330. Does anyone know if it is a good phone?
I have been thinking about switching too. But the Curve is very out dated with no WiFi and small screen. I would wait for the Palm Pre. Sprint will also be releasing new Blackberry sometime this summer.
Shacklock, I had a PPC6800 with US Cellular. I seriously thought of going to the Touch Pro, as my contract was up for renewal. In the end though, I went with a red Curve. I've had my 8330 for going on three weeks now.
There are things that it does better than Windows Mobile, and there are other areas where WinMo is superior. That said, I'm quite happy with my new BlackBerry.
If you buy one, don't load up on accessories at your Sprint store. Instead, check out Amazon. They have an amazing assortment of OEM BB accessories at bargain basement prices.
Good luck whichever way you go.
really? cuz i have a blackberry 8330 and i was looken to but the htc touch pro and the curve is cool but i dnt like the keys on it really there too small and the bold is comming out in late may or maybe july so i suggest u wait and if ur willing to sell ut htc touch pro let me know [email protected]
Get rid of the stock rom!!! Go to a custom rom....forum.ppcgeeks.com is a great place to find them. Blackberry's are all obsolute.
Hi everyone...
I thought I would post this here in the CDMA TP group as I am sure there is where most of your read.. I got a great deal on a US Cellular Touch Pro, but I need the sprint version... I did play withe the USC one, installed the NFSFAN's WM6.5.3 v1.04 TP ROM on it (which is awesome)... I have the box, some accessories, etc.... The phone is in mint to near mint condition (looks brand new).. Anyone have a simmialr condition Sprint TP they would want to trade?
Also, if someone is game, I have a Sprint TP as well (same rom), but cosmetically it is only like a 6 or 7.... I would be willing to trade BOTH phones for something newer, like a TP2... Pics are below..

USC one - http://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/4380916234/

Feel free to ask any questions
I'm not an expert
Can't you load the sprint dcd file on the USC Touch Pro and call is good?
They are both CDMA. Right?
Yes, but Sprint will not activate non-sprint phones, no matter what rom and settings you have on it...
Have you thought of just swapping the keyboard and screen from the USC one onto the sprint one? That way you have the nicer screen and the sprint mainboard thus using it on Sprint without issues. Unless you are trying to get a TP2 this might be an option for you. If not then you might just look at selling both of them on ebay and then use the money towards a TP2.
This is just a thought though.
I did consider switching the mainboards.... But wouldn;t that be a lot of work? If not I would do that in an instant....
Then I would give the one in the more used condition to my son.... I gave him his first HTC for christmas to use as a skype phone... It was a mint condition HTC Titan (Mogul)... It works great for Skype.. But his brother has a fuze that he uses on GoPhone, I have a Fuze I use on Einstein Wireless, andmy spouce has the Sprint Touch Pro... so I could make both my spouce and son happy if I can jsut switch the board... I will do some searching later tonight about that...
I would do the sale of both phones indivigual and use hte money for hte TP2... but we use the one sprint TP as the everyday caller.. so we would need to switch at the same time or get some loaner phone... thansk for the idea though
I have a sprint one but the esn is bad. As of right now it's activated with MetroPCS.
well, I would need a good esn.. lol
got ya. wasn't sure of the purpose.
but i will say ebay is a nice place. i recently got $86 for a beat up crackberry curve. and tp's are running about $120 for okay/poor condition. so you might be able to squeeze out more. plus ebay has that whole list 5 for free. you still have to pay like 8% of whatever your bid wins but I find it a good deal.
The touch screen and earpiece on my Sprint HTC Evo 3D both managed to kill themselves within the same week. I need to get them fixed as soon as I can because I tend to reply on my phone for a lot of things (including college).
I've picked out the two items I believe I need on ebay but I want to double check everything is right on here because I don't need to be wasting money or time.

Are these both compatible with the Sprint version of the Evo 3D?
Are the tools that come with these the same?
Can I get an a cheaper price on either of them that are of the same or better quality?
The earpiece looks like its going to ship from Hong Kong but I wasn't able to find one from the United States (I live in Iowa).
Thanks in advance, hope I can get my 3VO back up and running, it sucks being phoneless.
This is probably the most asked question around, but last night my Note 2 was a victim of a fatal liquid casualty. I was on verizon & well... since I got it on swappa I am SOL.
I have to go T-Mobile, which leaves me with these choices:
$149 contracted GN2 (I can stay the same in the safety zone)
$149 S4 (Possible move up?)
or... the very tempting
$99 HTC One (going back to HTC After a run with the thunderbolt...a scary idea)
or....
$430 GN2 N7100
Sprint is the same in my area, even if contract prices are the same sprint rom support for GN2 for example seems way poorer then TMO, VZW and ATT/Unlocked so I wont be touching that carrier. ATT is too pricy, even VZW with m employee discount break is $17 more then TMO Monthly... plus phones more pricy.
Whats Important to me:
*Performance
*Battery Life (a MUST! I am gone from 8am to 8~ midnight at work usually it cant die)
All 3 phones obviously have performance, so I was wondering what current owners see as pros & cons of the devices to help me pick my new baby. someone on ebay just bought my dead N2 i605 for $430...so I have that much to play with if I go unlocked.
I'm LOVEING the One right now. My Coworker has sgs4 n my wife has the s3. Imo, the only thing that makes the sg better is the screen type. But the screen is almost immaculate on the One. 1920x1080? Why complain? The speakers are exceeding expectations. Beats does make a difference. And the headphones provided match the power and clarity of the phone. As for speed, far better than s3. I believe better than an s4 as well, And the one is not made out of plastic like the sg's! And no, it is not heavy.

imho sense is battery drain rom,i think gn2 is better
Also I think after using the GN2's 5.5in screen it's hard to go back to a smaller one so maybe you should buy another note.

I tried going down screen size from my note N7000 to sg4 but i ended up returning it! I just couldn't get used to the small screen! I'd say get another Note 2!
