I have a problem when Upgrade WM 5 to WM 6.1
when i upgrade my atom pure from WM 5 to WM 6.1 is success, and than i downgrade from WM 6.1 to WM 6.0. after flashing the device reboot and than the atom only vibrate and blank on the screen.
I try to hard reset it's still vibrate only and cannot load bootloader screen...
so somebody please help me....
ps : sorry my english it's not good, i hope all of you understand what i mind...

If you still haven't solved you problem:
you can simply pull out the battery while pressing and holding down the camera button AND reinserting it while still holding the camera button down.
then once you release the camera button.
it should boot
This worked for me and my atom loaded to the bootloader and i was able to successfully flash it

i upgraded my hermes to WM6 PRO 3.54c ROM. the phone operated well in the begining. however, when i was access the Today Music Plug-in, the phone was reboot by itself then could not entry wm 6 again (can not pass the wm6 green page and reboot and reboot again)

Hi,
The same thing happened to me with 3.43c. The only way I got passed the WM screen was to hard reset it. Give that a go and see if it helps.

Why not try to reflash the OS again?

I believe that you do this by pressing both of the soft keys to the left and right of under the screen and press reset.

O2 Atom LIFE....
After the package file release (AL1_CB_0425_WWE_B1_DSUU.exe), he was copy all of file to MiniSD and reset Atom Life to bootloader mode and it was upgrade. So, upgrade to 99% it was notice error. He softs reset it after wait for minute. it can not power on and black screen.
My Atom is Blinking RED... & BLANK SCREEN.... ((((((((((((

I just have got it yesterday andthen i flashed it today with the WM 6.1 rom from Medkid and then was working, then i wanted to get back to the original rom then i downloaded one from the wmg homepage and was not working, then i extracted the files and put on my minisd and it has flashed but then it was not working anymore... is just black screen... nothing works.. tried removing the baterry, reseting, hard reseting,.. no lights on.. just when i plug it to charge i see the charging light on.. Can someone please help me too.. pleaseeeee

Can you still get the bootloader?
If you can boot it up to the boot loader. you can plug into your computer and flash another rom. I had the same problem a week ago. now my atom is working again with Homers WM6 rom

Please, please help me to fix the problem continues boot looping after update from AP4 to Michyprima ROM WM6.1 MULTILANG R6.1 Manila Edition (SPL 1.2 and 3.5)?
After the progress bar of flashing ROM completed, the device was started with scattered screen of RGB (like broken TV), different from the time when I was flashing AP4.
During first booting, the device always restarted after everytime I choose the font between Tahoma and Vista Font.
How can I fix this? Thanx a lot for any help!!!

After I've checked, I think I know the caused of problem; I was using Michy SPL 1.2 instead of SPL 3.5.
My Device is using SPL 3.5 (I know this by pressing camera button + reset button), the tri-color screen appear with text:
ATHE100
IPL-v1.00
ATHE100 MFG
SPL-v3.50. OliNex
But anyway I don't know how to fix this,
anyone please help me to restore my device again??

First get proper ROM.
enter bootloader using this method: To enter Bootloader press and hold the camera all the way in and press the reset button
Hook up cable and run update utility.
Finally, it works!! Many thanks to you, my Athena is now alive..
Now I'm using SPL 3.5 with Michyprima's ROM, it is fast enough to navigate.
however still, the Wifi is not working..
is that cmonex solutions fit in my case?

i have updated my rom to Khoa-ha ROM PDAViet.net 6.5 but my touch screen now does not work.it was working ok earlier with 21014 sonblack 6.1. so went back to wm5.0 then again 6.5 then to sonblack 6.1 but my screen gets stuck at align screen everytime. i have reset my phone hard and soft many times but i am stuck for good.i love my atom very much and am very sad to see it crippled.
i searched and found the touch screen registry values but could anybody guide me as how to update them to phone.

which ROM did you download ?
what was the Setup you used for Flashing - OS Only, OS+Ext ROM, etc...
Did you notice any error while flashing?
After you try to start the PDA now, do you get any LED / LIGHT or ray of light on LCD.
Did you try starting with another battery...
Sorry, but will ask more questions sooon. Actually trying to troubleshoot the issue.

i also have the same expirience with you, my phone totally like dead, no respone at all!!! even switch on or press any buton. any body can help?
We need to know which ROM you downloaded to upgrade your Device with... if you don't tell us, then all we can do is sit around making wild guesses without getting anywhere...

Just pull out the battery for a while. Next, hold down the on button and the camera button at the same time, and then put the battery back in. this takes some practice to get it right. After it will boot up to MN1 bootloader.

HOW TO RECOVER DEAD ATOM PURE AFTER FAILED WM 6.5 UPGRADE
Step 1. Pull out the battery
Step 2. Do the following 2 things simultaneously:
1) Press down the Camera Button (right side of your Atom)
2) While holding Camera Button down, put the battery back inside.
Step 3 Wait for 2 seconds. Now your Atom will automatically re-boot to MN1 Bootloader.
Once you are in MN1 Bootloader, connect to your PC by USB link, and upgrade with any WM 6.1 ROM.

by the way iam come from Indonesia, i would ask regarding wm 6.1.
1. now iam using wm 61 ce os 213 pdavie all device are runnig well ( a2dp bluetooth, wifi, gprs,infra red ).
2. do you know how to fix stk software ? everytime when i try to use stk on the password box always popup please inset something after iam fill that box with passwort string.
3. what your suggestion for the best wm for atom pure ?

i was follow your step, but still failed to boot on my o2 atom pure,
take out baterry > hold camera button and put back battery at the same time. any other solution?

First you try to go in boot loader mode and then you try try upgrade rom, if your atom did not power on then you lost his boot loader.
don't worry we have the solution to repair the boot loader, first of all you try to power it on in bl mode if not then mail me at "[email protected]" i will tell you the complete procedure for repair the atom with help of jtag.
