Wired headset audio issues - Droid Eris General

I'm curious as to if anyone is having audio issues with wired headsets? I'm running Senseable 3.1 and when I'm in call, the volume goes up and down. Sometimes it is low enough that I can't understand people. No one has complained yet that they can't hear me. I'm wondering if its the phone or if I should re-flash the rom.

Notifications through speaker when headphones/BT connected

Does anyone else have this problem? For example, while driving and connected to my A2DP headunit, if I get a message from WhatsApp, it'll play through the speaker on the phone and my car speakers. Or if my headphones are connected, the refresh noises from Twitter/Pulse news will also play through the speaker.
Can someone just check if this happens?

Not getting u properly
Well if you have your headphones connected, will some sounds on the phone still play though your speaker?

This is a REALLY simple test. Someone please, for the love of god, plug in your headphones and try to update Twitter or something. See if the noise plays through the speaker.
Wow, I'm amazed at how unhelpful some people can be.

After your last comment im pretty sure that less people will want to help. And its normal when you have something external hooked up wheteher bt or 3.5mm jack to external speakers for sound to play externally.
I voided my warranty and your mum.
I have the same issue. While I'm listening to songs, if I get a notification, or even if I take a picture on the stock camera, the shutter sound goes through the speakers. It's pretty annoying if you're listening to something loudly on a public place. Anybody know how to fix?
Hello Forum,
just get this thread back, because i need that feature
Lemme explain:
My Galaxy S2(XXLSJ leaked), is connected into JVC bluetooth car Audio device, which supports incoming notifications from phone.
In the past, with my old Nokia 5800 C6 ported, when i get a SMS, on the dual din screen of my JVC appears a message about new SMS received, and remais there until i read on the phone or touch on it into display.......
Is this feature be possible with a mod on a leaked XXLSJ Rom?
Thanks for helping and answering you Masters

[Q] MagicJack issue

Just tried out the MagicJack app on my Prime, amazing sound quality over WiFi! Thing is, when I have my headphones plugged in the person on the other end can't hear me. I have to unplug the headphones and use the built in mic. Luckily I was trying it out at home, but it wouldn't be useful when I'm on th road.
I used Skype and know the headphones are working, but would like for it to work with MagicJack too
I think this an error on how magic Jack works. The prime does not support in-line microphones.

No audio during calls except speaker phone

Like I said, I'm suddenly not getting any audio during calls but the other person can hear me. But audio does work if I put it on speaker phone. I am rooted & tried all my backups & even installing fresh new ROMS which is leading me to believe it is a hardware problem. I used the headphone jack a lot this weekend to plug into my home stereo if that could have anything to do with it. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks

Bluetooth Quality Worse?

Hello,
Recently migrated from a DInc2 running Skyraider Zeus to the Dinc4, currently running the stock ROM.
Question: The Bluetooth audio quality in the DInc4 is considerably worse than its predecessor. While I can pair and use accessories without problem, the audio sounds muffled - regardless as to whether it's my earbud or the hands-free unit I have in the car.
Is this an issue with the current version of Android, the stock HTC ROM, or perhaps just my phone?
Comments welcome...
Thanks,
GG
I wouldnt really know about Bluetooth because I don't use it at all but this has a better connectivity with Bluetooth 4.0 but it could be just stock causing issues.

I use Bluetooth for both calls and music and have excellent quality in one of my vehicles. However, in my other car it does sound a bit muffled. I think this is due to my Bluetooth I have in the car not the phone itself.

I use bluetooth headphones on a daily basis and I haven't noticed any difference in audio quality between this phone and my other devices. Sometimes audio will cut out for a couple seconds on rainy days or when I walk too far away from my phone, but I haven't had any audio quality problems.
Hmmmm...interesting. Thanks all for the responses.

Low phone call volume

Does anyone else think that the volume is too low while talking on the phone? The quality of the calls are great, but I wish it were louder both using the speakerphone and with the phone to your ear. The volume is even worse when using it through an auxiliary port in my car. Playing it through the speakers I have to jack the volume on my radio to 25 but listening to music I'm usually in the 7-10 range. The speakerphone is useless with all the ambient noise inherent with driving. Does anyone know of a sound boosting app that can fix this issue?
Ahh, I thought I was the only one having this issue. I use Bluetooth all the time and it is also very low. I haven't done a reset yet and that's my next move soon. Doubt it's the BT since I have been using it with the previous LG g3.

I haven't used Bluetooth headphones with this phone yet but that doesn't sound promising. I really hope that there's an app or some hidden setting that can fix this issue. I hate having to do a reset for any reason after I have the phone set up the way I like it.
Same issue. Can hardly hear other people direction the phone and with Bluetooth headphones which work perfectly fine on G3.
