Hi all! Just as the thread 's title says: how to keep the live weather animation in my Home Tab running all the time (e.g. rotating)?
I like the sun rows, rain drops, flashing thunderstorms animations to keep playing on my desktop. By default it stops when the animation is finished.
Is there a tweak for this?
(N.B. another question: by what event does the animation show up? Sometime I have to wait very long, or another time the animation does not show up at all.... someone?)
*sorry for my English.. am working on it
Why would you want to do this, unless your into your battery lasting an hour before being drain to nothing. Ya it's cool to look at but all it does is drain the battery and slow down the OS.

First of all i would like to thank all you chef's for the great menu you provide
Tastes are incredibly smooth and you use fresh ingredients all the time
What else could i ask?
On the second thought i can ask something
I have become irritating asking the same question in differnet roms
Maybe it is a problem in my touch pro
Why does my clock lose synchronisation?
One moment all ok and suddenly time stays stuck...
I repair it and all is good again
But suddenly this happens again
An one more thing
In some roms while i use gmt+2 athens it changes it by itself in [email protected]@#@ something i cannot remember
Thank you for the time you took reading it and for the time you take making these great roms
p.s
Maybe there are more with the same problem
If there are please state it to see that i am not alone in this cruel world
Me too
I am also facing the same issue nowadays. I am using RRE23016v3Manila ROM version. This is a new issue i got after flashing this.
wrong clock too
I have the same problem too with the clock..and all the appointments'time becoming error too..
This issue is solved in Manila 2.1. You can also fix it with this.
Ok with time zone
But i do not lose 1 hour
I lose 20 minutes for example
it is not a timezone problem
I saw this answered by deksels in another thread. Here is deksels answer:

Clock gets out of sync
Like others here, I face the same problem. At a certain moment I will loose sync of time. The amount the clock is off varies per event.
It is not a DST issue, but something else.
It seems that it occurs randomly, but mostly after an event (alarm or reminder) occured.
Any one any suggestion what is happening here?
Although it is claimed that the issue has been solved with Manila 2.1, it is still occurring sporadically. The only way to fix it is to set the clock right in Settings -> Clock & Alarms. Just do not touch the big clock in TF3D ;-)
Cheers...
and when i touch it when i talk on phone???
lol that's what i thought it was the problem
Wrong clock
i also experienced the same problem...it's not about timezone or manila.i use energy rom 3.0...it's so irritating when you realize you are late for something important as the clock stuck at certain time..maybe i should buy a watch someday

I'm having a similar issue and it's using 6.5 without Manila. The clock appears to stick and when I "tab" the power button to turn on the display, only then does it suddenly try to update the time on the display and it usually 1 - 2 minutes behind or forward on the Titantium/CHome Clock app than the "Top Bar" clock. This also causes issues when an alarm is set and goes off. Dismissing the alarm will sometimes cause the time to suddenly reverse one minute so the next minute, the alarm sounds again. This morning, it looped 3 times!
Hi,
Usually the weather animation on sense home tab stops in few seconds, if there any way/tweak to keep it always on.
PS- Before asking this question here, I searched everything but found nothing. Please forgive me if this question has been asked earlier.
Thanks
I can understand that this still nobody has asked. For me it makes no 'sense' if the animation is repeated permanently.
The view of the home tab is limited and the animation may needed a lot of CPU performance (battery drain).
However, it is likely that you can completely switch off the animation...

Well, it depends on ones personal taste, few people like it to be always on, including me.
I know it will drain battery, but Android live wall also consume a lot battery and people still use it.
Disabling animation is already discribed here, what I am looking is enabling it permanently.
Thanks.
I have looked around and searched but cannot find anything about speeding up the transition from potrait to landscape mode. Is there such a way?
If running eclipse there is a setting in eclipse parts under animations etc.

Just for screen rotation? Not on mine, 1.2 though.
U change the speed of all animations and it makes the rotation faster
I just switched back to an eclipse nand backup and played with the animations and found that even if I play with the animation speed it didnt speed up the transition from portrait to landscape that I could notice so I switched them off and now going from portrait to landscape is basically instant.

Yeah u can turn off all animation from phone display settings.
I was going to recommend that next. I thought u liked the animation and just wanted to speed then up a bit.
I think it also helps a bit (a little) with battery life by turning off animation.
I know the cpu doesn't spike as long or as high during screen rotation/animation since when I open setcpu and rotate screen with animation on u see it jump to 1000 for a couple seconds and I didn't see it do that when animation off...prolly wont see a big difference but its subtle....

Yeah it did speed it up but I went back to liberty. I love eclipse but damn if for some reason liberty gets my tethering speed up. I dont have a clue why. I am running the same mods. I can't wait for the new roms to start rolling in
i don't understand why would you want it to be faster
i regularly use my phone on the couch and if it rotates everytime i move. it would drive me nuts

I had the transitions on and use it in landscape often for typing. Hate how long it took to change between portraite and landscape. Transitions off almost instant. Thanks again ash for the tip.
Hey, I was just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this?
Well pretty much, I've noticed that the time / clock within the status bar will start to lag behind the actual time of the device. This is more apparent when I'll turn on the screen, and view the lockscreen - the lockscreen clock will display a time that's "Correct" where as the status bar will display something that lags behind. This can range from a few minutes, to hours, in some cases.
For now, I've remedied this by changing the time settings from 12H to 24H and just leaving it there, and when it happens again, 24H to 12H...

Rom: MooDeD ICS 90.6
Kernel: XSX 3.5
I'm not sure if it would be related to the kernel, but I suppose it might be worth taking a look into?
Attached, is a screenshot showcasing what I've just typed up.
Thanks for taking the time to read.
its a issue you can fix it with this tutorial! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDtnkc63RP0
Managed to isolate the problem to being most likely my carrier having a screwed up network time.
Remedy is to use "Built in clock".
Mod's can close this, thanks.
Does anyone know if there is a random image selection option for the Photo Wall Live wallpaper? Every time my screen goes to sleep and I wake it back up it starts all over with the same image sequence and It never really toggles through more than 10 - 15 images.

Did you at least go to the Live Wallpaper settings for it? There are options to choose from there.
Yep. Only get to select the photos, the layout and the speed. Didn't know if anyone knew of an alternative or maybe somehow hacked this one to add the random feature. You can randomize photos in a normal slideshow so thought maybe it can be done with this wallpaper too.

I also thought it was extremely annoying how it goes back to the first image selected after you open an app or unlock the screen, so I took a look into PhotoWall.apk and changed it to get a random image from the selected images.
If your phone is rooted use PhotoWall.apk to replace the one in System/App and reboot.
If it's not rooted I believe Photowall-nonsystem.apk will work and install but when I tested it, if you reboot it goes back to the original apk.
