Yes, this would be really useful to know, especially if there was a way to find where the YouTube videos had been cached and then maybe be able to save them?
Here's hoping some clever person might provide a few answers.

no browser as yet (correct me if I am wrong) is capable of correctly displaying flv video content within the browser windows (flv movies as used in YouTube and similar sites)
I did manage to get a version of Web&Walk to do it some time ago but it stopped after a short time.Even then it only allowed a tiny part of the video to be played.
Best way at the moment as I'm led to believe is the following

Where is it !

Just done some video recording and want to transfer it onto the PC however can't find the file ..... looked through using MY FILES but it remains a mystery ! Sure this a daft question but some ideas on location of filmed video would be a help.
Thanks

[Q] [Jelly Bean] Media Streaming over LAN problem...

Hello guys!
After looking everywhere I can't seem to find any solution or even report of a similar issue
I have a rooted Nexus 7 on 4.2.1 and (I think it happened since the last update to 4.2.1) have a total impossibility of playing ANY media files over my local network... Whether it's a movie or even an MP3, every single one of my players tell me "sorry this video cannot be played"..
I can see the file on EF explorer (tried also with a bunch of other explorers, same problem), I can copy it onto my tablet over wifi, but impossible to play the damn file directly like I used to 2 or 3 weeks ago...
I bought a Kobo Arc for my girlfriend (on ICS) and it has no problem streaming anything instantly, even 720p 6gb movies... but when I get my Nexus 7 , nope can't do it anymore
I'm really getting lost on that issue now... I've tried tons of players (MX, BS, Dice, VLC...etc), tons of files explorers, looked through the file explorers settings...etc etc, but nothing that could get me my media streaming over wifi again...
It's not a huge issue or anything, but it's rather annoying to have to transfert every single media file on the tablet before actually being able to watch/listen to it...
If someone has a solution for this, damn, you would soooo helpful
Thanks in advance!
No chance for me? Anyone?

[Q] Variable Speed YouTube Playback?

Ok. I just got through searching the forums and the net and came up empty handed so I am going to guess that this is not possible right now. But just in case I'm wrong, I thought I would post my question here where the experts live. Here's the question:
Q. Shy of downloading the video and playing it back with a different application, is there any way to change the playback speed of a YouTube or embedded video upon first launch in Android?
I have explored the html5 route and no Android browser I found can do this.
I also explored some different applications claiming to offer this but none were actually able to change the video playback speed without first downloading the video.
I have something like this for my PC now. It would be very nice for my GN3.
Thanks.

I really want to know this too. Surely a solution exists now?
The latest Firefox for Android supports variable speed playback on pluralsight.com. Nothing else I tried would.

[Q] Looking for a remote storage video recording app

Hi,
I'm not sure if I'm just using bad search terms or what, but I haven't been able to come up with anything.
I know something similar must be out there! Apologies if it's easy to find and I've just overlooked it...
What I'm looking for is a Video Recording/Camcorder App that streams live to YouTube, G-Drive or even my own Server.
Just want to be able to shoot video and have it safely stored offsite immediately...
(Not like the stock camcorder app that let's you share and upload the video post shooting)
I mean if someone grabbed the phone out of your hand whilst recording, it would still be there.
Does anybody have any suggestions, I'd really appreciate any help!
Thanks,
Bren
