Hi, i have been working on this since yesterday and still i haven't got the right ROM for my device. It's HTC P5510 (NEON100) device (16keys).
So far, i have tried different ROMs for NEON and they all don't support 16key keymapping, i have tried several that would stock my keypad input to numerics only, it would only input numbers, tried every cab/hack/tweak that i found and still nothing.
I even tried hex editing some Niki/Nike ROMs to run on my Neon, but still my problem is the keymapping.
So i would really appreciate if someone could point me to a NEON100 ROM that supports 16keys.

You already told us that you tried every cab, so I'm almost sure you have read this thread but I thought I gonna give it a try and hoping you missed that one.
Also take a look here it could be also interesting for your Neon100.

The 1st link, yes i have tried those. And yes, it doesn't solve my problem.
The 2nd link, yes already read that thread and there is nothing good for me there, only a dumped and rebuilt stock rom of NTT DOCOMO HT110, which is a non-WWE ROM, it's a Japanese ROM.
Still no luck for me, i'm about to download your ROM and give it a shot, if all goes well with your ROM, all the praises to you bro!

@Rataplan - I tried your ROM bro, it would successfully be flashed but i can't boot, not even to the screen alignment screen....

Finally got it right! I flashed a cooked Neon (200) ROM and it was originally for 20keys..
Installed EzInput 1.5 plus Lang Pack = All keys inputs only numbers
Did a Reg edit:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Tegic\eT9\IME\CarrierDefaultTextMode = 0 (dword)
..and finally got it right.

Ya! that's right! Stark Wong is the man! I've tried Youzii's EVOen with "IMonly", Gullum's V7, Crystal V1 and Claudyfa's Transformer V1 with both ime-mingliu and ime-msjh aleady. The result is one step from perfect --the automatic word-suggestoin fails after installing the cabs above. Other than that, everything works like a charm!

View simplified Chinese by setting Chinese China on the page of Local Settings ('m not sure whether the needed nls has been changed in your device^^)

I did not use the crack version. Mine was a registered version. but some how it cant load the sms page.

Have you tried the latest CE-Star?
I only encountered some errors when using older version.
BTW, don't just verify v2.8r3 - it often shows "v2.8r3" but has different build I think.
Also, both Simplified / Traditional Chinese I used.
You're eligible to email to Mobem support and ask for the latest one.

Yes, it always happened - That means you actually using different version of CE-Star.
Don't worry about the regestration - I always ask Mobem to send the valid serial no when I encountered kinda problem.
You've bought their product and you're eligible to do this.

First of all, what device are you using? then what ROM did u flashed your unit? please read the thread were you got your ROM. maybe there is an answer to your query. enjoy reading =)

I believe medkid is the author of your ROM, you can try and read thoroughly the thread and ask this query if no one has this situation. there could also be a quick fix for your problem as well. Im sorry but I haven't tried his rom.
do you want to overclock the unit? or do you want to downgrade the cpu clock? you can use XCPUScalar to do the job,

This is my first ROM it's the stock ROM for devices shipped in Egypt. I have followed the process as in the kitchen thread but I don't know how to make sure if this ROM is working properly or not. So hope one of you guys can test it and tell me.
By the way I don't encourage anyone to use this one except those looking for warranty as the GPS is disabled in this ROM.

Yes, check this thread and my discussion with taiseer, he is really a nice guy and made a good job.
By the way if you are not intending to use arabic interface (i.e just reading and writing I encourage you just to use Mobidiv 416 and the keymapper to support the Hardware Keyboard.

I thought Jade had no GPS ship installed. Please correct me if I'm wrong. If it exists the only thing to do is to download the middle east rom from HTC site, it will be enabled by default 9again if GPS exists). Just go to support page, choose either the arabic or wwe rom, put your serial number and download. The rest is easy: connect to activesync, have more than half battery full, double click on the exe file you downloaded, follow the steps, and voila!!!

I'm also using "Raphael Radio 1.14.25.35"
I've got several problems with my phone :

We've got the same problem here ...
I'm also forced to do a phone's soft reset when i'm connecting it to my laptop (usb connection) or when i'm charging my battery's phone !
I was also wondering if you'd be king enough to indicate me a substitute for WMP, that could read videos with an "avi extension" (.avi) ?
(I've tried a cracked version of the "Pocket Player" but it wasn't functionning well on my phone ; actually it was crap ...)

not really sure what the issue(s) are but I think you need a FRENCH ROM.
The thing is i'd like to stay with the energy rom because it's a great rom ... but i'd also like to have a french keyboard ...
I really don't want to put a french rom on my phone, because i think there is no french rom which is as great as the energy rom.
I have another issue with my phone : sometimes when i've just end the connection with my laptop i get this message : ""nameoftheapplication".exe is not a vaild pocket PC application"

Hello everybody and regards to masters of HTC and clones. I'm from Chile, some days ago i bought a T4242+ from China, as many people here I was fooled too. Device is cool for the price, but i need to upgrade ROM to see if some features can improove general performance. I've searched a lot of forums, here and others and i haven't found solution, this is my situation:
1.- I have this Software:
WM 6.1 Professional
SO CE 5.2.20758 (Compilación 20758.1.4.1)
PDA versión : V03.06.00
PDA Construir : S0908051825(1.33)_BV
Stack Versión : V02.42
Stack Construir: May 16 2009 07:05:05
Radio Versión : 1.3
Radio Package : 2.2
2.- And this Hardware:
CPU Marvell PXA300
Rate 624 MHz
ROM 256MB
RAM 128MB
3.- Hard Reset buttons are:
Green+ Red + Power
No options screen pop's up, just do the Hard Reset at first button combination pressing.
4.- USB Mode Buttons
Volume Down + Power
White screen pops up with this message: "USB Update Mode!" (I don`t know what can i do from this screen)
5.- I don't know if i can flash my ROM with this specifications, neither if there is a spanish ROM to update. I've red a lot of flashing formulas and i'm a little confused , so i need someone to explain step by step (including some software i may need) what to do with this if i find the ROM.

Unfortunately, there is no rom here that will work on your device...
Clones have a very different hardware, compared to the original phone.
You best shot is to dig in the chineese forum i found here, assuming you use google to translate, or understanding chineese, but there is little hope you will find a spanish rom there...
If you are courageous enough, you can try to cook yourself one based on the information you may gather there, but i don't think what you will find on xda is usefull for that, as the tools here are made with HTC in mind, and clones are like devices from other manufacturer (motorola, palm...), regarding the cooking of rom.
But don't try to flash a rom from here to your device, as it will most likely result in a bricking of your phone!

Hi, i manage to extract the htcsensorsdk.dll from paiura's rom, which i learned that allowed to use htc g-sensor software on t4242+ and some other clone phones.
I tested on my phone and worked OK!
Now i can use my phone like mx-air (logitech mouse...)
