[ODIN] Full DL09 Odin Package - Fascinate Android Development

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=4D3JPBKR
*MIRROR*
http://www.eleazar.org/times_infinity/DL09.tar.md5
Flash this with the PDA option in Odin. This is good if you want to restore your phone to complete stock without having to reflash the DL09 modem, etc.
THIS IS FOR THE VERIZON FASCINATE ONLY.
DO NOT FLASH THIS TO ANY OTHER GALAXY S VARIANT
THIS IS NOT ROOTED YOU WILL HAVE TO REROOT AFTER RESTORING THIS. DON'T ASK IF IT IS ROOTED BECAUSE IT ISN'T.
Just like Adrynalyne's DI01 and my DJ05 Odin packages this flashes:
Modem
Kernel
System
Recovery
Formats:
Cache
Data
DBData
To avoid being called a thief, I will admit, the only thing I took from Adrynalyne's DL09 was the modem, because we don't know what partition modem sits on, therefore we cannot dump it ourselves. BUT the kernel and factoryfs I did dump myself. This is after I flashed stock DI01 and updated with the DL09 OTA. This is NOT the leak. This was built off the official OTA.
Remeber!! Use this at your own risk! I am not responsible if you brick your phone by flashing this to the wrong phone or power loss or any interruption to the flashing!!
Also, if anyone wants to mirror this, please PM me the links to those mirros and I will add them to the post. Thanks!
Credit to Adrynalyne for providing the leak, which is where I got the modem from, and to the internet for various other tasks.
Thanks to eleazar for mirroring this
EDIT: Brought to my attention by mike919, z4root doesn't work in DL09 and that you have to use the old d2 root method found in this thread. It doesn't take long to do, so don't be lazy . It'll also teach you some worthwhile adb commands.

What method do you use to root this?

The old rage.bin method. But i guess z4root would work too.

times... just fyi z4 does not work on the official DL09 update. Have to use permanant fascinate d2 method found here in the forums.

does this break the phone so that when you connect it to a computer it shows the phone as a CD Drive?
jv

when i connected to my pc for the first time after flashing the official DL09.tar.md5 i didn't notice any drivers being installed to windows, yet i don't seem to have any issues with ADB/mass storage. Mine works fine on XP.

by the way, if you've had that issue on other versions (say DJ05) i noticed a work around... connect your phone, use rom manage to reboot into recovery, wait about 5-10 seconds, and just reboot the phone. ALL while keeping the phone plugged into the PC. when you reboot check My Computer and you should have mass storage instead of a CD drive.

Personally, I've used the perm d2 (rage.bin) method. I've never once used z4root.
But yeah i read your post in another thread. Thanks for letting me know.

still no gps
I flashed this to my phone with the understanding that it would fix my gps. my phone still just says searching for gps when trying to navigate and in maps it finds my location but only within 3500 meters. I have all the settings checked.. Any suggestions?

Try this one - SuperOneClick v1.5.5
SuperOneClick v1.5.5 worked for ROOT.
So NICE.

would this work if I was to go from rooted stock rom dlo1 to flashing this through odin. would put me at unrooted OTA correct?

Hello, thank you for your contributions. Just a quick question; Would this work with DH12 voodoo v.2? If so... how would one go about doing this process? (big question is, do I need to disable voodoo first or remove it?) Thank you.

[Q] Root on KB5?

So, I had to flash back to JFD because I soft-bricked my phone. Now when I updated, it took me to KB5.
I'm puzzled because all of the things I've used to try to root it just fail. Does anyone know how to root KB5, since nothing has worked so far?
There might be easier ways, but try this, think the v4 will do it. Theres a few posts in the bible with instructions if this doesn't work for you.

just a quick reminder when you flashed KB5 where you on 2.1 or 2.2
and if i am not mistaking you must be on 2.2 or Higher.
Hope That Helps
ALL the stock 2.2 roms for our phone have a new recovery (3e). Because of this, the usual methods to root (the update.zip methods) don't work, and you'll get a signature verification error.
You need to root using SuperOneClick, and this will root your phone. But you also need to clear space in the /system partition in order to install busy box (you might think it is already installed, but reboot your phone and it won't be).
In order to flash .zip files, you either need to odin/hiemdall a voodoo kernel, or replace the stock 3e recovery with a modded one. I'm not going to do any linking because simple searching in the vibrant dev thread will yield you your results.
So.......anyone wanna make a tutorial vid?
Flash Eugene's JK2 Odin Image, comes with the modded recovery and root already built in, and you can do whatever you need to do from there:

You can get root that way on KB5, but you *cannot* install recovery on KB5. If you had recovery before KB5 and upgraded via CWM flashing, you still have CWM recovery. But if you ODIN or KIES to KB5, and then try to install CWM Recovery, it will fail and you will not be able to make it work.
Short version: Root on KB5 Possible. If you want CWM Recovery, you have to downgrade to an older build and get your Recovery working there, then upgrade using a CWM flashable ONLY.

I just want root. I have no intention of flashing ROMs. I'm on a pure stock KB5.
Can you tell me which steps in those instructions can be skipped, if any?
Thanks.

Ok. Looking at the Wiki instructions I see this:
2. Boot the Samsung Vibrant into download mode by holding down Volume Up & Volume Down while connecting the microUSB to it.
I'm trying to visualize this. It sounds like you hold down the power button, and the volume up/down rocker with one hand, while inserting the USB into the phone with the other hand. Is that right? How critical is the timing of inserting the USB?
I've searched YouTube but am not finding this specific "boot while inserting USB" procedure.
Also, from the instructions it appears I would be installing a non-stock kernel. Is that required just to get root?
By doing this are there implications for the upcoming GB upgrade from Samsung? In other words, would I need to undo something before doing a Kies GB upgrade?
Lastly, I see the "Voodoo/disable-lagfix" folder has to be created, and am wondering if those get installed by this procedure.
If I should be asking this somewhere else just let me know. Thanks.
Voodoo/disable-lagfix folders have to be created by you,
1.Vibrant power off
2. Volume Up & Volume Down
3. connect the microUSB to it but before the usb cable must be connected to your computer.
The kernel is patched so allows the superuser app to be installed over-writing bloatware unwanted stuff.
You can update to gb version but not recommended, when out of course
i Recommend to you when we have a gb version to just flash the new radio or/and bootloader, and keep flashing cyanogen firmware through Recovery
Hope i helped

Understand I need to create the folder, just wondering if Voodoo and lagfix get installed by this procedure automatically.
So, volume up and volume down, but don't press the power button to boot?
The complications are what I was concerned about. I don't need another hobby. I just want root. That's it. I want to be able to upgrade to stock GB when it's available. Sounds like it's more trouble than it's worth for the few things I want to do with root (block ads, etc).
If that's the case, no problem, I just want to understand before I proceed.
SuperOneClick doesn't work on KB5 Stock FroYo - at least not my phone. Just freezes at step 7 for like... ever.
Anyone can recommend an easy root app that has an unroot button? I just want to remove some bloatware that auto-starts...

[Q] Entropy's 12/21 kernel and rooting from UCKK6

I've been reading all over about rooting my S2. I think I understand well enough to comfortably proceed. Unfortunately (or so I gather), I upgraded OTA to 2.3.6. Apparently we don't have much available yet that works for rooting from this update - with UKK6.
Reading through Entropy's kernel progress, it looks like his might be a possibility. Being a noob, I can't post this question directly in his thread, so I'll post it here...
Should I be able to root successfully from version 2.3.6, UCKK6, kernel 2.6.35.7 using Entropy's 1221 kernel?
If there's some other way I'd be better off accomplishing this, please let me know.
Thanks
Take a look in the [GUIDE]How to Flash Custom Binaries Without Ever Incrementing the Flash Counter!! thread. Specifically, it seems that only 2c works ...
2c.) How to root by flashing Entropy512's Return/Unbrick to Stock, Kernel + Rooted System Package with Modem using Odin3 One-Click Downloader (Windows)
Download the "Odin3 One-Click Downloader Stock I-777 UCKH7 with Root no BL" package from MultiUpload or MegaUpload. Extract the contents of the zip file to a directory on your hard disk drive. This is a One-Click version of Entropy512's Return/Unbrick to Stock, Kernel + Rooted System Package plus stock modem from the development forum. (Contains stock zImage, factoryfs.img with root, and modem.bin.)
Start the Odin3 One-Click Downloader program by double clicking on "I777UCKH7 OCD Root No BL.exe".
Now Enter Download Mode:
With the phone powered off, plug in the usb cable while holding the vol up + vol down buttons (but not the power button).
When the warning screen appears, press Volume up to continue into download mode.
In Odin, the small edit box in the upper left corner will turn yellow, and say something like [0:COM8].
Click Start. Watch the progress bar advance in green while the message box in the lower area describes the steps. When the flash is finished, the top left larger edit box will turn green and say PASS! and your phone will automatically reboot.
Unplug the usb cable from you phone after it boots up. Success. You're Rooted.

It depends on what your long term goal is.
If you want stock UCKK6 rooted, and you plan to stay on that, then the best path is to flash UCKH7 Return/Unbrick to stock plus root, and then with wifi on, check for updates. Allow the OTA update to install, and the phone will retain root on fully stock UCKK6.
If you plan to install a custom ROM, then you can follow the above method to avoid tripping the flash counter, or you can use odin to install a ClockworkMod enabled kernel, such as Entropy's or Codeworx, and then directly flash the ROM.
My goal...
Well, I don't plan on staying with UCKK6 once ICS becomes available, but that might be beyond the scope of this.
I want a rooted, close to stock, kernel, mainly for tethering. I think the additions of CWM backup and the ability to overclock/underclock & improve performance and battery life would be nice too. At this point I don't plan on loading a custom ROM, but who knows?
Probably then DD 12/21 is your best option.
Another option (if you don't want to trip the flash counter):
Update to KK6 to get the kernel.
Flash the prerooted system image in vladm7's thread for UCKK6 in the General forum using Heimdall or Odin. (or was it vlara's thread - one of them prepared the image, the other one posted the thread).
Sometime in a week or so I'm going to prep a UCKK6 return-to-stock package - basically the Odin One-Click minus bootloaders.

I think this is vladm7's UCKK6 thread that Entropy512 is referring to:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1381497
For others searching for the same solution.
vlara's system partition dump with superuser embedded download contains the file "system.img". It is not a tar, so I made an odin flashable tar with it, and tried to flash it, but the flash attempt failed immediately. I don't know if the system.img is faulty, or if it could be flashed with Heimdall.
Halfway there...

I completed your 2.c. process to root back to 2.3.4 UCKH7, but now my WiFi isn't working. Should I just flash Entropy's DD kernel with the WiFi fixes, or do the OTA without WiFi (will that trip a counter since I already had 2.3.6?)?
Thanks.

There is no reason your wifi should fail on UCKH7 stock plus root. Did you do a wipe data/factory reset in recovery? If not, do that first and then reconnect to your wifi to see if it is working. It should.
The wipe data/factory reset in recovery worked to restore wifi functionality.
I was smart enough to backup a bunch of stuff with Titanium - worked great.
Is it normal to have to re-do your widgets after a wipe/reset or did I miss something that would have backed them up? The widgets were there, but empty. I just had to re-apply them.
These phones just get cooler the more you dig into them.
Hey guys. I have an over the air update available for the 2.3.6 and I accidentally pressed cancel and it says I have to wait another 20 hours to try again. Is there a way around this or am I stuck.
(PS. I rooted the phone and I'm on stock kernel so I should be fine in terms of keeping root)

Yes, that's normal.
Okay, I know WiFi was working last night. This morning it stopped working again. It starts, searches, and shuts down, like it was doing before the restore. I don't want to have to keep doing that. Would installing Entropy's 12/21 DD possibly fix it?
Don't know. Best I can say is try it and see.
Did using 1221 on the latest stock work? If I just flash the kernel I won't get root will I? That's the other part I need to extract from the vladm7 stuff?
@mattsmc2
What are you trying to do? Are you wanting to root the UCKK6 update?
Basically, I would not mind running the kernel as well since it supposed to save on battery.

NEVERMIND, I did not realize this kernel made CWM available...
If you want something close to stock install gtg's custom ROM unNamed 2.2.1. If you already have CWM then just flash the full install. It is basically stock with more features(including free portable hotspot/tethering) and better performance. I wanted the same thing as you OP and am also new to android and I couldn't be happier with unnamed.

Causal, TWRP, 4.3 OTA

A while back when I first got my Verizon Note 2, I used Adam Outler's Casual method to root my phone to Stock. I don't mind stock and root mostly for the Tethering.
About a week back the OTA notice hit my phone. I have declined the notice/update twice giving myself time to look for the root update. I found this thread by Beans: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2518704 ........ It seems right but this thread by AdamOutler says not to use ODIN: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2045563
So I am a little confused. I just want the update but don't want to mess up and not have my tethering ever again.... or brick the phone.
As a newbie, it's a scary task. Someone please help point me in the right direction. I just want the 4.3 Stock. If there is a thread for my situation I couldn't find it. I search "casual TWRP 4.3 OTA" and other similar variations.
I can still get to the TWRP 2.5.0.0. I have also downloaded the ODIN and started it... looks simple, but there are no instructions.
Someone please help me...
Thanks

Welp, couple things...
#1 - The link you posted above is the from the Note 3. You want this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2578458
#2, The ROM gets flashed via CWM or TRWP like normal, it's only the radio update that gets flashed via ODIN. That shouldn't affect your current unlock/root status.
#3 - If it is only ROOT you are after, the 4.3 OTA is Rootable, just not unlockable. So if by chance you accidentally take the OTA you should still be able to ROOT and install your Tethering app. You just won't be able to unlock the bootloader and install a custom recovery/rom.

I would think long and hard about taking the OTA...although root is available, you may want an unlocked bootloader at some point, and there is no guarantee that is coming to the official 4.3. My guess is that it will not simply because this phone is 18 months old and the skilled developers that put in the time to do things like unlock bootloaders move on to newer devices.
If you managed to use Casual in the past, Odin won't be a problem for you. Below are the steps:
Odin takes about 5 minutes total...its really easy.
Download Odin (it's just a simple windows program). - http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...3&d=1304094576
Make sure you have the latest samsung drivers - http://www.mediafire.com/?hzlnda0l5t8qyes
Download and extract the firmware from the first post in this thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2578458
Save whatever 4.3 ROM you choose to your external SD card.
Power down the phone and boot back into download mode (volume down, power and home at the same time).
Open Odin, plug in phone...Odin should recognize the phone and you will see the com port noted in yellow.
Check the PDA box and put the firmware file (unzipped) in the PDA slot. Click start and 30 seconds later you are done. Phone will reboot into recovery at this point.
Then you can flash any of the 4.3 ROMs (including stock) in TWRP (I use 2.5.0.0 too). I have tried them all and Sophisticated 3.0 has worked the best for me...I will be trying beans 23 as soon as it is done.

Thank you so much. Updated and everything seem to work just fine, but after some use it started rebooting. I am going to put on Sophisticated as you suggested. Hopefully, it will be more stable then the stock ROM.
And I can't get the WIFI Tethering to work. Which Tethering app are you using? I have unlimited data... and need to make sure Verizon isn't charging me for no reason.

As for the wifi tethering, on stock you need to flash the file below (some of the newer roms, including Sophisticated have it baked in).

Eh, he is one of those that puts the question in his title instead of the body of the reply. But as @akellar said, there is nothing available.
Thanks so much for all the help. I got everything working right based on the instructions from this thread. I initially had an issue with the "Wifi Tether" because I was using a 3rd party app. Instead the correct app is the "Mobile Hotspot" app. It might be named differently for other carriers, but for Verizon it is "Mobile Hotspot".
Again thank you for all the replies.
Thank you for Sophisticated v3.
Thank you Adam Outler for the original Casual root.
And Thank you runandhide05 for the "Mobile Hotspot" hack!
:good::fingers-crossed: LOL

Rooted phone, need to unroot but having problems.

I've been trying to unlock my phone with an unlock code but it hasn't been working.
I then saw that Superuser is on the phone and seem to recall rooting it at some point.
I need to unroot the phone but am confused by how to do this as I can't find the correct downloads I need to complete this task.
The phone is a Samsung Galaxy S 4G Fascinate (SGH-T959P)
I'm not very experienced with this, so if someone can give me instructions and link me to the software I need, that'd be great.

download SuperSU from the Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.chainfire.supersu
let it install and overwrite the other Superuser app you have installed, you may want to reboot just to make sure it installs properly. after that, go to the settings tab and looks for the option that says "permanent unroot" and run it.
i haven't actually tried this before, but it may work for ya. let me know how it goes.
I tried that earlier today about 10 times. Only once was I able to actually get SuperSU to install correctly and update the binary. Every other time it just hung up. The one time I did get it working it got stuck trying to Unroot. I wish that solution had worked, it would have been so much easier!
Well I finally found the firmware and have it reset back to factory Samsung firmware.
It took FOREVER to download but it did work in the end with Odin 1.85
I have to split the URL as I can't post links yet.
ht tp:// rapidgator.n et /file/ 3eee7663a73fff4315fefae7210d63a3
Remove the spaces, and that link will take you to the T959P stock firmware.

i was always curious as to why stock firmware was so hard to come across for this phone.. oh well. glad you got a solution. that would've been my next suggestion.
i kept a nandroid backup just incase all the stock firmares were gone just to be safe so if you need to get fully stock, custom recovery, then make a nandroid backup, it will be incomaptible with newer cwm, but its convertible with a tool ive seen before on xda-developers so u may need to look, as that and one more can make it into a twrp compatible also =)

this person is talking about the Telus Fascinate (t959d) which is not the verizon fascinate (i500).
t959d is good with i9000 roms. not fascinatemtd roms.

[Request] Galaxy S4 Firmware I545PP (prepaid) (Closed)

I just got the S4 for Verizon prepaid. It came pre-installed with lollipop 5.0.1. I do enjoy tinkering and getting the most out of android, even if making the best of it beings verizon loves to lock stuff up. So before I start any tweaking, I don't want to end up with a soft brick so I want to be cautious and have something to fall back on which would be the firmware I can load back into the phone via Odin. So if anything bad cones I'm covered. No idea how many times the firmware for my prepaid s3 saved my phone lol. So it is needed but unfortunately prepaid firmware seems harder to get.
The firmware or build im exactly after is...i545ppvruaoh7 with kernel September 7 2015. (Not sure if that part matters) any help is appreciated. I seem to have posted this in the wrong section before. I was told to post here but if I'm wrong to post in this section then let me know. Thanks
Still no help?
I'm kinda in the same boat with a Verizon prepaid i545ppvruaoh7. I tried a few ways to root (downgrade to OC1 etc..) but wasn't able to get root until I used Kingroot. Now I am rooted, uninstalled Kingroot and installed Supersu. Root is working still but my Camera isn't working, my wifi passwords won't stick after reboot, and I get a security notification every few minutes. Seems like I need to be back on my original Kernel, which I didn't make a backup of to make everything OK again. Firmware for our I545ppvruaoh7 would fix my problems.
Sorry this doesn't help you @bjf189, but if I can find the firmware I will reply back to here.

I have a few firmware sites bookmarked. Some have firmware for the prepaid s3 so I'm hoping in time they will have the s4 firmware as well. I don't understand why you had to downgrade your kernel though. I'm not real fond of how kernels work but I left it all alone. Didn't downgrade anything. Used king root to root. It said it wouldn't root but still I continued and it rooted. I removed all bloatware and adjusted a few things with pimp my rom. That's about it. I wanted to install safestrap but I see warnings that it don't work on 5.0 lollipop. So I'm avoiding that until firmware is released cause I'm not using that app flashfire being you have to be able to boot into system to use the app to do anything. Just to risky for me. As for your Wi-Fi problems I'm betting it's your kernel. Being the firmware is different, the kernel your looking for or suppose to have for the firmware isn't out yet. I'd give you my stock kernel that came with mine but not sure how you could flash a raw dump
I was able to reinstall my firmware for our i545ppvruaoh7 (with kernel September 7 2015) by using KIES. http://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/app/kies
My phone is now exactly like it was when I un-boxed it. No root but everything is working again!

[/COLOR]I have exactly this same phone and exactly the same issues. I went to the OC1 firmware via Odin a couple times fooling around. Got Rooted. But Charger and Camera went Adios.
Recovery is simple. Inside your Phone in a hidden Partition. It is the Verizon Diagnostic Utilities. When you first plug your phone into a USB you will see the 4 or 5 files.
Run the Application. It will install into your PC. Then with a good internet connection. Run the "Repair" module. It has a nice backup feature. Presto in 45 minutes your back
to "Bone Stock". Root is gone but your fully recovered.
OK now the good news. You want root on your PP version of the Verizon S4. Its available NOW. It can be done with a little skill
1. Download the King Root apk. build 4.8 10523. It's dated 2/4/2016. At first it sez not available for root. Then hit the try anyway. Download Root Checker. Confirm Root.
2. Get the King SU Un- installed. Go Here. http://www.w0lfdroid.com/2015/05/How-to-Remove-Replace-KingUser-KingRoot-with-SuperSU.html
3. Download ES File Explorer, Terminal Emulator, and the enclosed Patch on the link above.
4. Follow the directions on the link.
5. You need to Unzip the Patch from wolfdroid into the correct directory. /sdcard/mrw/. Use ES File explorer for that
6. Run the emulator. Type SU to get to the root.
7. Then run the Patch/ batch command. sh /sdcard/mrw/root.sh
That will clean up the KingrootSU and some of the garbage files it leaves behind.
The Super SU will work and you can de-install anything KingRoot still on your phone at this point.
I have loaded Titanium and frozen my Bloat. Loaded my apps with Link2D so I can put them on my sd card. You need to Partition your SD drive correctly.
Using it for a few days now and its flawless. Everything works. Nice speed and full root. No ROM attempts yet. I will back it all up and try in a few weeks.
But have no fear. Your S4 PP Verizon OH7 is recoverable from the process above. No KNOX trip either.

I've known this but thanks for the tip. I already rooted using that method. I can't rely on that tool to fix a possible screw up. I messed something up on my s3 when I had it. Tried that same tool and it wouldn't go past 51% it kept crashing. So I'm not looking for any other method then the firmware to use in Odin but still thanks guys

I have the Verizon S4 used the forum for
Wander share on PC downgraded kernel to oc1 to root and flashed of1 using Odin 3.07 the kernel flash took care of the security warning . Then I downloaded Stanglte non mdk oc1 of rom plus WiFi fix and beta super user zips kladhed with flash fire and I'm cooking however this is the only firm ware I have found working .
I'm still having no luck finding the oh7 firmware :/
Question. Why do you need the Firmware ? I have a Request in for it with SamMobil. Just to have the file. It will come in time. I reset my PP version with the Internal tool that's on the Hidden partition on your phone. You will see it when you first plug in the phone via usb and look at windows file explorer. It will time out after a minute or so then show you the contents in your phones file system.. Yes USB Debugging must be on. That will program when loaded on your PC will reload the original Firmware File completely. Phone will be BONE STOCK. I used it 4 times on my phone. Are you just attempting to root ? Mine sure is working good rooted. Camera, Network, Everything perfectly and I am rooted via Kingroot. Going back to OC1 will not work with this Variant. The reason the program would hang is PC or Network related. I am a windows Expert. Nothing wrong with that program. It will pick up where it left off too. Its very well written.

Sorry for the late reply. I never got an email saying you replied. I was just letting time pass and check time to time for the firmware. Anyways, I need the firmware as a safe resort. I'm also rooted with king root. King root does wonders lol. I refuse to do any modding or tinkering until I have the firmware cause if anything goes wrong, and I don't have the firmware then it's a higher chance of my phone not working and thus service days wasted. After getting the firmware, I'm looking to deodex and get xposed to work but before taking any of those steps, I wanna play it safe and cautious. Just cause it works for others, don't mean it's 100% to work for me. So that's why it's important for me to get the firmware for this phone. So as soon as sammobile releases that firmware to you or the public, can you link it on here for me? I'd greatly appreciate it
any one have any info on the firmware as of yet?

i found this site that only has it. think its legit? http://www.samsung-file.com/index.p...es)/Model_I/I545PP_(SCH-I545PP)/I545PPVRUAOH7
I saw that site. Wanted a big subscription fee as I recall. Sam Mobil will have it in due time. And I can reload with the Verizon Tools. So its built into that.

im glad others can have the tools from Verizon to fall back on but i dont feel entirely safe about tinkering until i have that firmware. i had the S3 on prepaid and postpaid and prepaid had different firmwares so if anything is mistaked in between, im screwed. im looking at deodexing my stock rom after getting the firmware though so i can run xposed. im assuming im going to need to deodex it myself some way beings everyone who deodexed it before was on postpaid firmware. i just wish that sammobile would release it more quickly so i can start customizing and such. ive tried other prepaid firmware sites as well and put in requests for the specific firmware but not any replies on that as of yet. i do appreciate that you are keeping me up to date. thank you.
Any firmware come up yet for this? I've got nothing
Still looking?
I recently just go the phone as well and was successfully rooted with King. Every forum I found allows Custom Rom on the older variants of this model but not the PP, any luck yet?
