Hi,
Last night, i tried to root my Xperia x10i phone, following the steps in this article:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=711907
After completing the 1st step, i tried to boot my phone. I get the usual vibration when booting, and after a second or two, the phone had started vibrating endlessly.
Then i tried to recover it using PC Companion (Connected in flash mode). It downloaded the firmware and installed it to the phone flawlessly.
I disconnected the phone, in switch on. Get the usual vibration, and then the screen backlight starts to turn on and off constantly. As the PC Companion says this could happens for a few minutes at first boot after update, i waited, but it simply remains doing the same thing, and never show the SE logo.
I tried to repair again, this time using SEUS, following all the instruction, with same result.
I dont know what else can i do... Please Help!!!

You mean try to flash it to 2.1? Or to 1.6?
flash it to 2.1
Ok. I've just tried to flash with a 2.1 x10i generic rom and a 2.3 x10i generic rom, following the steps in the video. Dont work...
hmm.. weird, any1 can help here?
Yesterday, i left the phone in the office, with the battery out, hoping that something i read in a forum, about this could work, was true. Today i take the phone, put the battery back, and turn on the phone, and... No luck... My xperia is still dead...
Try using SEUS instead of PC Companion.
Follow the instructions ins SEUS and make sure that the phone is off and hold down the BACK button before you plug in the USB cable and make sure you keep it pressed down until the software tells you otherwise.
I've done so, but still dont work... But i'll try again...
I've just tried with SEUS, which download the 2.3 update. SEUS run all the way, and says disconect and turn on. Same result...
Any sugestion?? I almost give up on this... =(

Nope done that and nothing it only vibrates and doesn't stop
I'm running cobrato's miui rom with his modified version of doomlord's fully over clocked kernel.
The problem is, when I hold down the power button to turn it on, nothing happens. The same thing if I pug it into a charger or my computer. I can get it into flash mode and I tried flashing a new kernel but when it flashes the loader it gets stuck at 13%. I also tried flashing stock 2.3 firmware but again, flashtool can't flash the loader.

did you try restore from PC companion or SEUS?
^ true that
Try using SEUS to repair your phone, sometimes when everything else seems to fail, surprisingly the one thing we've always ignored, actually works !!
I did try that. It keeps saying, "There's no new software for your phone. Please try again later."
Hi, so your phone coulb be save...
You may need to reinstall the stock rom and start your config again...
In PC Compagnion (I think SEUS doesn't work again)
Go to SUPPORT ZONE / UPDATE PHONE / REPAIR PHONE...(I'm not sure it's exactly the same words because it's in french language for me..)
I hope it solved your problem or someonelse idea, because no news...

Hi guys, my phone is acting erratically where it turns on then it turns off instantly after 2 seconds where you can see the LED backlight turning on but it's completely black. I have reflashed the Stock 2.1.1.A.0.6 ftf to my device using Windows 10 but the problem persists on. The bootloader is unlocked and has a manufacturing date of 10W35. I was previously on GingerDX and I locked the phone and when I unlocked it, there was nothing on the screen. I took out the battery and reinserted it and it wouldn't turn on so I reflashed the stock 2.1 FTF to the device but it still persisted on. There were no error logs on Flashtool and it said it flashed the device successfully. I suspect the NAND is failing but if it failed I wouldn't be able to flash the device. Does anyone know how to revive the device or is it permanently dead?
Hi,
It seems like I f****d my phone up :/
I tried to unlock the bootloader and root my phone according to the instructions (http://forum.xda-developers.com/m4-aqua/general/recovery-twrp-command-line-t3198973).
I'm pretty sure the unlocking process ended without errors (at least flashtool told me so), then I flashed the recovery.img. Now my phone is stuck in a bootloop. Everytime I try to turn it on it vibrates one time, shows the SONY XPERIA-logo and goes black. Than it turns itself on again and displays the logo. This cycle continues for hours. Sometimes the red LED is flashing, too. The next morning the LED was red without flashing and the phone was off, despite being on a charger the whole time.
I tried to reflash the stock-firmware with flashtool and xperifirm, but it still won't boot properly. I also tried to repair the phone using Sony PC-Companion (after relocking it), the problem still exists.
I'm able to boot into fastboot and flashmode, but not into ADB.
Does anybody has an idea how to get the phone working again?
Reflash firmware, use flashtool.
As already said, flashing the firmware via flashboot does not work. I'm still in a bootloop.
How did you unlock it? Where did you get the unlock code?
