Which baseband works best for you?
Thanks for helping me out mate!
I think .52 as the custom kernal from Z which has been uploaded to bootloader cracking works only on .52 and we have better battery and fps cap removed with it
On my opinion tho...
Great rom Trip much appreciated!!
Edit: Trip maybe you could post update fixes for the .46 .49 .52
And then the complete Rom for .5X

.54 or .55 are the best for me....
Everyone with .58 complains about severe battery drain

Hey no problem! anything to help!
2.0.52 with CM7 by jerpelea works fine
Using .58 and wolfs' 6.1.3 v053 with kifnos' battery tweak. And I'm experiencing very good battery life.
I'm running. .49 on trips rom and haven't had a single random reboot. Also have very strong radio signal
I agree, althought .54 is the best for me. (although best is not really that great)
.55 & .58 both give me massive battery drain.
.54 for me. Seems to have a better signal than the rest for me.

I just flashed Jerpelea's CM7 v006. It is very stable i haven't had any FC or reboots. Everything is working smooth, however i noticed that the quadrant score is really low like 850 something. Does anyone have any idea why i'm getting such a low score.
I checked in the CM settings and JIT is enabled.
Good job Jerpelea
Sometimes you might have to wait for the system to settle to get good scores.

It also does not have full function of codecs yet..

Thx for ur replies guys. I checked it today and the score got upto 1000 now. Anyways I haven't gotten any reboots yet, so the rom is functioning excellent.

Just wait, IT will bei Thema beste ROM ever,

For me it's the best ROM on this moment! Stabill, fast, almost everything works perfectly!!
If someone does not care about a camera i can easily recommend this rom. So just wait for future fix. 36,5 k on Linpack, and 1100 on Quadrant... its really enought for me.
Regards.
V 006
I've been running this version since yesterday. My first problem was flashing the baseband, I could not flash the included baseband due to problems with my 64 bits os. I used binary's flashtool and rendeiro's basebands compilation. At the beginning I had several reboots, almost at every attempt to open a new application, especially if the app tryed to access the internet. However little by little I had fewer fc/white-led. Now the room feels very responsive and solid. I'll be using it as my daily room.
Thanks J for all the time and dedication to this almost-perfect room and to this comunity. Keep the great work!!!!!

@tremeree: you can flash the included baseband using bin4ry's flashtool. Anyways let me know if u still get reboots, I'll help u out flashing the included baseband.
Enjoy

Hi all
Yesterday I installed rendeiro's 2.2.1 rom running the .58 baseband and I've been getting really poor signal quality. App downloads take 4 or 5 minutes and sometimes I lose signal all together. Any recommendations?
Also, is there anything I can do to my phone to improve quadrant score?
Thanks
Try another baseband

Which of rendeiro2005 ROMS did u put on your phone? I recommend baseband .54 for rendeiro's ROMS. Whats ur quandrant score. I get 1372.

I suggest you try FreeX10 beta4 which works well with baseband .58
Ok so Now I have CM 6.1.3 by Wolfbreak I love this ROM but problem is that the battery sometimes drains so quick it is unbelievable,
What are ROMS that give good performance like this one but has a good battery life
Hey give the ROM in my signature a look. Battery is awesome amd speed is great too. If i recall, wolfbreaks ROM shouldnt do that.

I have to say its IMPOSSIBLE only way to achieve that is if you turn off radio and not touch the phone at all, ill only believe if there's pics to prove it

Please, I want to know what is the most stabe rom, now I use CM6.1.3 by Wolfbreak but it has many bugs and become slow sommetimes, please excuse my English, thank you.
Erickwill's 2.1 ROM, easily.
It's as fast if not faster than all other 2.2 and 2.3 ROMS.
No functionality is lost because it's 2.1, so camera and stuff completely works.
And just today I got my batter to last 4 days. 2G Networks, no 3G, but I used music 2 hours a day every day as well as 1.5 hrs browsing the webs and messaging/facebook. The 2nd best I got was 2 days with WB's ROM. Amazing. The battery life is the real seller for me for this ROM.
Rock stable, not one crash, excellent performance, and godly battery life, and regularly updated
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=941745
Of course it differs by taste as well, and there are also other amazing ROMs, but this one is just my personal favorite.
EDIT:GAH! Didn't read the title properly, you're looking for Froyo, sorry! In that case, Cobrato has a nice MIUI ROM, but imo WB's rom is the best 2.2 one.
But overall I like eric's 2.1 ROM the best
foryou or froyo?
if you mean froyo Cobrato's MIUI is a good one

+1 fastest froyo rom around imo
Cobratos MIUI is very fast, Im just not an MIUI fan and the camcorder was lackluster compared to wolfbreak. Im using pzafroyo 2.2, Its real smooth and everything is working bu camera zoom. Ill be trying the ewjet 2.1 today, im gonna miss flash player tho.
Achotjan froyo 2.2.1 (v2.2) is the most stable ROM
the most stable and "comfortablest"
rom
is made by wolfbreak with working carmera/ camcorder
for barcode scanning use scanlife from the market

i tryed all of the 2.2 roms all of them has issues specially with Bluetooth headset.
they dont recognize the 2nd partition in ur sd.they gave fc in many other application that use the camera.no zoom in cam no flash light ..etc...
but if you wanna be with 2.2 i prefer miuitrip has great battery life but sometimes the voice in bluetooth headst become very low .thatz my 2 cents
Latest Wolfbreak's ROM is very smooth, u might give a chance to it
I flashed to TripNMiUI 1.0.63-TripNRaVeR 4 days ago.
Been really happy with it.
personally i would say for 2.2 "froyo" free x10 beta 4 ,but if you don't care for the camera much then i would say go for the 2.3 cm 7 it is amazing very fast and reliable
Sam
both tripandmiui 1.0.63 and wolfbreaks v006 rom are very stable and have fully working camera
my wife uses trips rom cause it looks better with theme support and very smooth, besides, i personally prefer wolfbreaks rom because it feels more pure and fast for me
i haven't tried any other ROM, so i cant say they are good or bad..
I have, trips rom called cm 6.1.3 v06 Android 2.2.1 and it works flawless on my baseband 2.1.54, no comments about it, and the camera works fine to.
Im from The Netherlands and i still waiting about the official 2.3 update !!!!

Wolfy's ROM + K10 Custom Kernel is the way to go. Of course the K10 disables the Camcoder but the FPS Cap removal is totally worth the penalty.
Cheers.
scamble_v01.3 by rendeiro2005 is the best for me no bugs and smooth and very fast 10/10
cobrato's MIUI

Hi guys on trip's latest miui rom.
I know that 49 is the best tired trip's work but I find 52 better with the network. Is it just me? Would moving to 54give me even better results?
Deciding whether I can he bothered with baseband patches

Hello fellow Aussie-Melbournite-Telstra Bud. LOL
Uh, i do think it does not matter that much, though i would use base .58 becos to me, it feels like it has better signal. needs verification.
Dont know about Melbourne, but i live in Sydney and i use baseband .54 which i think is the best for our country
Yeah I might track down the baseband patch and give it a shot
Hopefully I can get even better performance

Telstra has NextG, which would be good for .54 i suppose?
