[Q] Overclock widget - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

hi guys,
i've installed this app on my xperia x10 mini pro with CM7...
but CM7 has already preinstalled setcpu!
does it maybe have some conflict??

I use set cpu... set cpu is more stable compare to the overclock widget.
you can get set cpu for free in xda forum and set cpu has smart ass option and oc widget doesnt have it.

[Q] Elelinux-7.1.0-RC1-Hero-v3.0 problems

Hi,
at once, my english is very bad.
I have a problem with the Elelinux-7.1.0-RC1-Hero-v3.0.
The Status bar is very laggy and the launcher pro app drawer too :'( What can i Do.? thanks.!
wipe and clear everything, flash again!
Tried to overclock? I've used this app https://market.android.com/details?id=com.jrummy.droidx.overclock&feature=search_result and set the CPU to min 264 / max 672 governor: smartass for profile: screen on.
Be careful with overclocking, as with a computer electronic components doesn't like it
Don't use separate app to overclock Ele Rom. Go to Settings - Cyanogenmod Settings - Performance and adjust CPU clock there. Do it incrementally, though, for safety. I'm running 164/710 quite happily.
I should add: Smartass governor. Seems the cleverest, therefore saving a little battery...

For information v3.1 (based on Android 2.3.5) has been released, maybe it will fix your problem
Update to Eli's latest release and overclock is your best bet. I have my processor clocked at 264/748 SmartAss at the minute and it runs smooth as very smooth.
Also, as a note, I use SetCPU and have no problems.

[Q] cpu setting

what the best governors n oc setting for x10 mini pro

[Q] Overclock the X10i (or set frequency)

Hi, first of all i would like to know if there is any uncomplicated way to overclock the gpu (and cpu) of the x10i (adreno 200) or is it even possiple?
My x10i is rooted, xrecovery is installed as well as the fps uncap (54 fps). (but i dont want to unlock the bootloader!)
Also i would like to be able to set the cpu frequency as i want it to be, which (free) app would you recommend, should be stable and reliable (should maybe also show the current frequency)?
If thats possible, it wouldnt be bad being able to set the gpu speed/frequency as well.
Until now I've found cpu tuner and antutu cpu master...
Thanks in advance guys
First u will need a custom kernel that supports OC, then u can use no frills cpu master (free from market) to overclock
OK thanks, but as i read in some other threads you cant really go much past 1100 mhz (cpu) because it will get unstable, so i just want to set the cpu frequency i want (so just underclocking or permanently stick it to 998mhz).
Which (free) app is best for this?

Dont know about free but if youre willing to spend a little, SetCpu from the market works wonders
Sent from my X10i using xda premium
No frills cpu is free
So then i'm gonna try no-frills cpu control, but why is it better than antutu cpu master (free), or is it even better(?), both of them got an average of about 4,5 stars....
I've also seen that antutu cpu master (free) has advanced options with gpu control, but i dont really understand what can be done in these settings....there are no listed frequencies or anything.....(https://market.android.com/details?id=com.antutu.CpuMasterFree&hl=de)
I would say that other cpu apps may have more options but no frills is simple and elegant. As a normal user we dont need more than this.
Just my opinion
Works perfectly and has a nice statistic about the frequency(s) used
If u search xda forum properly u can find set CPU for free as a treat for xda members from the dev.
Sent from my X10 using XDA
Thanks but i'm happy with no-frills cpu control at the moment, has everything i need:
- full control over the current frequency
- widget showing the current frequency
- statistic about frequency(s) used (total and last 5 seconds)
- option to set my desired frequency right after booting
So for now thats all i need, maybe when i want to overclock it a bit (future, not now), then i'll use setcpu.

Question about DSC Kernel (a stupid one !)

Hi all,
I have a - stupid - question about kernels used by the DSC Roms.
The should be freq mini = 128, but is it possible to set this mini freq CPU without using a CPU Tuner program ? i'm using CPU Tuner to enable this mini freq. but this program like other ones use about 20 mo of ram, seems quite a lot of ram used to gain some battery life...
JB
DSC ROM has CPU Master Free included.
Besides, you can edit /etc/init.streak.post_boot.sh
Thanks for the answer.
I uninstalled CPU master Free a long time ago, and even when i upgraded to 0.74 CPU Master was not installed.
But It's not an affair, i prefer CPU Tuner.
I'll try anyway to edit /etc/init.streak.post_boot.sh to see if i can use it without CPU Tuner.
JB
Edit : seems to work if i believe on System panel ! thanks a lot !

Want help for using tasker!!!!

I have cm7 with faux123 1ghz kernel. I've recently installed tasker and want to create a task which can put my processor at minimum clock, so I can save battery. I also want to know the minimum cpu clock value on which it will not crash.
Sent from Atrix 4G.
minimal clock i think is 216Mhz or somethin close....
for tasker, in the general android section there is a thread with the guide...
