Please post in english so I can help you out.
@zarpy
because you are busy with stuff, ive taken it upon myself to totaly remake supermeatboy using my own sprites/graphics etc. (WVGA ONLY)
ive just sorted out transparency on the sprites so all images are looking cool
my game compared to your version is alot better, graphicly and design, eg it only has 1 level, the level is really long and hard difficulty.
if you touch a saw then you die/restart, also if you fall into lava etc - the same rules apply.
the main aim of my version is to collect bandages (based on the original idea from the actual game).
however there are lots of bandages to be collected, some are trickier than others but all of them must be collected to procede.
ill create a "portal" that will take you directly to the tutorial section of the game. (saves doing the tutorial each time you start the game)
newer levels will added when all bugs are solved with the current level.
screenshots of my updated version will be coming soon.
*im finding it difficult to get the "land" to change image when meat boy touches it.
my version will called "SMB - The Darkness"
.
Ok great how is development going on your game?
hi dude,
ive been working on a few games tbh but ill update my version of SMB soon, ive learnt new things with GE so when i update SMB it will have major updates, eg the land changing image when you touch it, hopefully like your version
ill also create a menu for SMB, from here will be the tutorial, new game etc... i dont know how to save a game but ill add an option for the level selection.

Please check the requirements before you install!!
I'm new to developing on the Pocket PC platform and decided that I wanted to give it a shot. I figured that the best way to learn would be game, so here's my first attempt. This game is based off the New Super Mario Brothers mini-game called Whack-A-Monty (from the Nintendo DS). All of the graphics are from the original game; I have no intention of selling or making a profit from this game so I don't feel bad using their graphics. This is just a learning experience that I thought I'd share with everyone.
Requirements:
In this version (0.1), I have only included support for Pocket PC 320x240 or 240x240 resolutions. Also, I have only tested this on WM5 & WM6 emulators. This will only work on phones with a touchscreen.
This game was written in C# and thus requires .NET CF 2.0.
Again, this is my first attempt at game for Windows Mobile, so this is mostly a learning experience. Please don't crucify me for posting a game here, I'll be moving on to applications next. Let me know what you think!
I haven't tried the cab yet, but if I may I'd like to see the source code, specifically how you did the animation because I've been struggling with that.

This is awesome. Thanks heaps!
Yes this works well and reminds me of the game ratsplat - it needs sound to make it complete - keep up the good work!
VERY VERY cool game lol
Thank you!!!
Would there be any way to enable to input a name with a high score?

Not much animation in this game actually, but I do plan on releasing the code here. I need to do some tidying up first. I found the 'Programming with cheese' articles on MSDN very helpful for starting.
As for adding sound, .NET CF 2.0 has very limited support playing sounds. As far as I could find, there's no *easy* method for mixing sounds, or playing more than one sound at the same time. I need to do some more research on sound...

Hmm... I thought about this originally. I might bring it back.
Overall, I'm more interested in seeing if anyone has had problems installing the game (shortcuts work / in correct place), gameplay issues (hits aren't recorded, slow play, ...), stability issues, etc
Not working...
Hi there, the screenshots of your game look pretty cool. Unfortunately, I cannot play it, it's not working.
I own a Dell X51v with WM 6 (football edition A3, release RTM) but haven't installed Microsoft Net Framework (I was told that it is included in WM6). Whenever I start the game, only 25 percent of the game is visible in the upper left corner of my screen, the rest of the game's screen is somehow 'cut off' and my today screen or whatever is visible.
What a petty...
Do you guys know what to do about it? I guess I have already tried to install Netframework, but WM6 refuses to do so if I remember correctly.
Thanks for your help,
7
It installs and runs on my Universal (WM6), but unfortunately the VGA screen makes it unplayable (you can only see the top left quarter of the game area).
If you feel like expanding your learning experience, support for VGA devices would be very nice! And why not include a landscape mode too

Yes!!! Please!!! And I'll give to you 72 virgins without the need of immolate you (I think that 72 virgins is not enough but.. xD) Without jokes, I love this kind of games, and it looks great but I cant play it
All the best
Well I can't give you the virgins, but I would be damn grateful, I'm just getting into this stuff on my Universal, so other than the snes emulator, that I got working everything else is always suspect on the butttons or outdated. So please.
Im still playing the game, its working great!! Any updates?
This game is great and worked excellent on my MWG Atom Life until I flashed to medkid's 6.1 ROM, now when I install it messes with some of the fonts (e.g. on the screen alignment screen and on commanager using poorlyduck's vista theme). The game itself kinda works ok on 6.1 but the stylus isn't very accurate for some reason, often missing some while hitting others. My girlfriend was devastated when I told her she couldn't play whack-a-monty anymore! ;] thanks for a great game otherwise though!
hey, looks great, I'd like to play it on my VGA device too
it reminds me that great flash game tontie.
unfortunately I have yet to see a pda able to play flash games flawlessly
Hey, thanks for sharing! I like it!!
Greetings, Melle.
i tried to use it on my palm treo pro and a part of the screen is cut off...I dont know what the prob is.

Guys, just ONE SIMPLE QUESTION:
Which ROM is FASTER: Crystal V5.0 (5.1, I presume they are identical in terms of speed) or ShadoW 1.0?
Please answer this question. I don't care about anything but SPEED!!!
Because I need to flash later today!!!
Many thanks to all cookers!
it's a personal preference.. I go with Crystal V5.1
No, no, that's what I'm saying! SPEED can't be personal preference! SPEED is measurable! OK, one rom might be better than the other based on one's criteria, but only one can be faster!
i.e. which one open faster windows folder? And how long does it take, actually? Benchmarks please!!!

First of all .. It is not abot competition between hma4 and claudyfa.
They just upload what they have made. In order to give the people here a new fresh ROM.
As I said.. A new fresh ROM.
It is not about competition.. Want to try which one is suitable for you.. flash it and test it by your self.
You can feel the difference between them.
thanks

Crystal V5.1 is faster than Crystal V5 because of the Different OEMDrivers.
The best thing you can do is try both Shadow and Crystal and see for yourself.
The time it takes to open the windows folder depends to how many files are inside the windows folder!! so this is not a good measure of speed.
You can use SPB BenchMark to compare them.
There's no point in just using Windows folder.
My Dopod is using Mysterious 1.1.
Windows takes less than 4 seconds.
Bootup, on the other hand, takes for ever (more than 1 and a half minute)
As well... It is also sluggish. I'm flashing Crystal today.

Well. it's differant every time u flash a same rom. It means if u use Crystal 5.1 or any other rom, it will give u differant results every time u flash it. It's quiet strange, but that's ur "Prophet". It's behaviour is differant with every flash. So there is no problem with choosing a rom. When u are satisfied with a rom, just give it a try. There is no question at all about performance. Because in a month "They" are giving u a new rom. So what's the big deal? Are u going to question every time, which one is faster, which is not? Be brave mann. Just give it a try. And u don't need to ask any one. U simply get it.
I hope this satisfies ur question.

Abosulutely true. How I wish there is a utility that you can backup all the personal apps and can be restored either in the ROMS. Is there a utility like that? That will only backup the dll and everything that your every personal application has and then safe to restore on any ROM (of course all wm6)?
After lots of thinking and reaing I finally flashed Shadow Clean. I haven't really any experience fromCrystal V.5.1, but, all I can say for the "Light" Shadow is tha it's blazing fast! My poor Prophet has been transformed to an new device! Now there is no reason to replace it with a faster device! Everything runs so smoothly!
Thanks to all cookers out there!!!

Well, I lived with Mysterious the beauty for a long while..
Reboot took only 40s in my case all the long period i used it!
@all:
As for "the span of windows-folder-opening", I am personally convinced that it is SIGNIFICANTLY important. Not only does it take CONSIDERABLY less time to open the folder, it SUBSTANTIALLY shortens the waiting time whenever an application related to files in the windows folder is applied.
Let's put it this way--An F1 car is not only powerful but also LIGHT-WEIGHTING. Contrarily, a powerful monster without light-weighting is A TRUCK....
When we talk about SPEED, the best argument is NEITHER figures, benchmarks, NOR any other ENDUSER-FORMIDABLE JARGONS. Rather, the very users' EXPERIENCE tells everything!
ShadoW_Touch_Edition, for instance, is UNDOUBTEDLY an art of the nation, a real fast thing,--taking barely more than 1/4 round of the wait-cursor to open the windows folder, sacrificing nothing luxurious such as HTC Ablum, HTC Action, HTC RandomAccess, HTC Dialpad, HTC CommManager and HTC LargeMenu and you named it, hundreds of its graphics PAINSTAKINGLY re-located into the ext_rom while merely fewer than 1500 files kept in the windows folder--an Ace Ferrari inviting you to experience what the definition of SPEED should be....
All rom-masters and their arts are highly appreciated for sure. Only let's face it when SPEED is concerned--the span to open the windows folder requires not only the build version of the core, but also dedication, genius and creativity!
The gibberish above is my very personal idea. No time-wasting war of spit is expected.
Best,
yes
I think it's a great thing to compare.
no one wants to think less of any of the great roms or their cookers.
we all greatly appreciate the hard efforts and time they put into this thing.
It has become one of my hobbies to change my rom every now and then.
but it's good to know the weak and strong points of each rom from other users opinion.
by the way the shadow clean edition was very fast and really clean !
but after some days it has become a little slow for me.
now I'm using touch edition to see what happens with it...
I think we should considerthe roms in 2 stages :
first when they are new and exactley after flashing
second would be after some usage and programs installing and how they react to different utilities in more days after flashing
one more thing I should add:
I think the volume of sms and call ring tones in shadow clean are much higher than my old wm5.
don't know if that's possible or not but I just feel it.
and about the touch edition I can't still tell.
hi,
i have made a game called Ganondolfs Adventure. Its a platform game. Originally it was ment to be 12 levels but because of the size of the lvls i then decided to make 9 lvls. But now i have found myself with little time so i decided to release it with only 3 lvls. Its my first game and i dont have any C knowledge so i hope u dont find it too badly made lol.
Its for windows mobile and WVGA SCREENS ONLY. (tested on HTC tp2 and SE x1).

Androïd Froyo version ?
Hello,
Can we expect a portage of this most excellent game on Android ?
Best regards
Ok this is a new doodle jump game with a little twist . In this version you avoid the enemy drills that are falling from the sky. Also to add challenge and trick you sometimes it will look like there are no platforms to jump on then they majically appear. This adds the the doodle jump challenge. See how high of an score you can get in the iphone classic.
If you want a variation of the game just give me ideas. Any feedback would be helpful but please no rude or common sense remarks. Post a photo of your high score if you like.
Thanks for sharing
feedback
Glad you like the game!

Thank you. I like this game.
i'd like to add on to the comment made earlier about it not being the original.i believe he meant that the first doodle jump clone was made by another developer and he should be the one who gets to name his upgrade doodle jump v2, otherwise there'd be confusion as to who is actual developer.. you should rename it to doodle jump krenesis or something, otherwise you will confuse players..
abridged---
naming your game doodle jump 2 when you haven't made a 1 is going to connfuse users...
suggestions---------
change button grahics/controls, it can become difficult when the guy is at the bttom of the screen and the buttons are in the way.
have randomized map and improve the character's jump height
answers
Ok time to answer some questions
1) The reason i didnt make accelometer support is the tools that i use dont support accelometer. I made sure in the title i put no accelometer so that would be clear.
2) Some one asked for english version? the buttons are in english
3)Yes i should change the name,,,but the guy who you where refering to I seen jump on other developer(who made original game) so thats why I responded the way I did.
Thank you!

Top video game emulator for Galaxy y & y duos !! XD [enjoy] [all android] [FUN] ©® §
Its my 1st post!!
In the months since our initial release
of the Most Hardcore Emulators on
Earth, there has been a plethora of
Android emulator releases, and so our
emulation-meister, Travis Fahs,
decided that it an ideal time update
and augment his epic list, and so we
present to you The Most Hardcore
Emulators on Earth 2.0. ~ed.
We all love our Androids, but let’s face
it. We still have a way to go to catch up
to iOS’s massive library of games. But
Google’s permissive market standards
and Android’s ease of side-loading
(installing non-market apps) makes it
the king of emulators, opening up tens
of thousands of games that iOS users
can’t play without having to jailbreak
their phones.
Those same lax approval standards that
allow emulators to run rampant also
mean there’s a lot of garbage to filter
through. Many emulators on the
market are just clones or hacks of
others’ work, while others are
overpriced compared to more robust
alternatives. It can be tough to pick the
right one for your favorite system, so
Hardcore Droid is here to share our
picks for each of our favorite systems.
(1) RetroArch
RetroArch is an effort to bridge the gap
between PC and Android emulation, by
offering a very powerful, accurate
emulator that supports more than a
dozen systems, and by doing it all for
free. With such broad support, it’s
pretty much a must-have for any
emulation fan. It’s the only way to
play Virtual Boy games or Cave Story,
and it offers the best Sega CD emulation
you’ll find on the Android. While it’s a
bit lacking in terms of interface and
usability, and some of the cores are
pretty slow, it offers some of the most
accurate, high-quality emulation
around, and support for more systems
is on the way.
(2) MSX.emu
The MSX probably isn’t nostalgic for
many English-speakers, but the 8-bit
computers had some of the best
Japanese computer games of their time.
Home to many Konami classics,
including the original Metal Gear,
Metal Gear 2, and Snatcher, the MSX
came in a variety of flavors, and quite
a few add ons. MSX.emu is based on
BlueMSX, arguably the best emulator
for the system on PC, so expect nearly
flawless compatibility and support. As
an added bonus, there’s also support
for the ColecoVision, which featured
very similar hardware. The price tag
may be enough to scare some away,
however.
(3) fMSX
Marat Fayzullin is one of the
godfathers of the emulation scene,
developing some of the very first multi-
platform emulators in the world,
establishing many of the cores that
would be used by others, as well as
creating some of the file formats still
used today. He began fMSX 20 years
ago, and amazingly enough still finds
time to work on it. There are a number
of appealing features here, including
interesting video filters, music
recording, and touch screen mouse
support. Best of all, it’s available in an
ad-supported free flavor, as well as a
paid app.
(4) Marvin
For kids who grew up in the UK in the
early ‘80s, the ZX Spectrum conjures as
many memories as the NES does for
those of us in America. Uncle Clive’s 8-
bit computer led the charge of
inexpensive PCs that parents were
scooping up for their “educational
value.” Of course all most kids wanted
it for was to play games. The primitive
graphics and sound haven’t aged well,
but that doesn’t make Jetpac or Knight
Lore any less of a blast. Marvin is a
genuinely great little emulator, and one
of those that is completely free, so even
if you’re a newbie to the system, you
might want to dive in. Lots of great
control options and speedy
performance make this a stand-out,
even with other options available.
(5) Frodo C64
Any discussion of 8-bit computers
would be incomplete without some love
for the Commodore 64. There are a
few options out there, and none of
them are perfect, but Frodo 64 offers
solid emulation in a free, open-source
package. Those SID tunes still sound
great with a pair of headphones.
Juggling keyboard and joystick controls
can be a bit of a bear, but maybe that
will finally justify that iControlPad 2
purchase.
(Arcade)
(6) MAME4Droid Reloaded
Arcade emulation has always been
tricky, since it’s really a collection of
hundreds of different pieces of
hardware that may or may not share
some components. MAME is one of the
most important emulators of all time
because it manages to cull all of these
into one package, and for broad
compatibility, it is the only option. But
MAME was built for accuracy, not
speed, and even high-end PCs can
struggle with some games. As a result,
most versions of MAME made for less
powerful or portable systems have
been based on a version of MAME
released in 2000, back when speed was
more of a priority, and this is the case
with the classiv version of
MAME4Droid as well. This means it
runs a tiny fraction of the games its PC
counterpart does, and features many
bugs that have since been squashed.
Seleuco’s Reloaded release puts Big Boy
MAME in the palm of your hands for
the first time. Based on a relatively
modern build (0.139, released in 2010),
it features accurate emulation and
broad compatibility. The downside, of
course, is that it requires a monster CPU
to run, and anything past the 16-bit era
is still probably too choppy to be worth
playing, but we can’t wait to see what
it can do on the Nexus 4. Alas, both
versions of MAME are badly crippled
by poor control options, and an
inability to save these options on a per-
game basis, so it’s not recommended
unless you have a good control pad.
(7) NEO.emu
MAME may be the all-in-wonder, but
there are better options when it comes
to specific systems. NEO.emu offers
fast, accurate Neo Geo emulation for
both the console and arcade versions.
As the most popular arcade hardware
of all time, this opens up quite a few
options for classic 16-bit action. Bonus
points for making sure the touch screen
controls support four presses at once,
for those bold enough to attempt King
of Fighters without a controller.
(8) CPSEmu
Capcom’s CPS2 was their go-to 16-bit
machine from Super Street Fighter II
all the way through Marvel vs. Capcom
and beyond. Although it’s mostly of
interest to fighting game fans, a few
oddballs like Progear and Super Pang
buck the trend. This emulator is
available completely for free from
XDA, and is not currently available on
the Play Store.
(NES)
(9) NES.emu
Robert Broglia’s work is going to come
up a lot in the feature, because every
one of his emulators is top-notch. They
share a common framework and
feature set, which includes excellent
external controller support and robust
video options, but they also go the extra
mile for their individual systems. Not
only does NES.emu support a wide
range of mappers for broad
compatibility thanks to the FCEUX
codebase, but it also supports the
Famicom Disk System, which opens up
a sizable library of imports, as well as
the famous zapper, so you can play
Duck Hunt on the touch screen.
(10) Nesoid
Nesoid was one of the first emulator
casualties of the Android Market. At
Nintendo’s request, a small handful of
emulators were permanently banned
from the market, including Nesoid.
That hasn’t stopped it though, as you
can still download it and side-load it
manually, or nab it off of an
alternative market app. Nesoid isn’t
quite as polished as NES.emu, but it is
available for free now, which might
make it an attractive alternative. It’s
also very fast, for those still rocking a
G1.

Read the forum rules then, also I recommend watching the noob video again. And as it happens outside of the Galaxy Y forums there is hardly any warez. Galaxy Y just happens to be a hotbed for warez due to a lot of pre-teen users.
Do not post warez in future, it is not looked upon well.
