This is a small tutorial to show people the easiest way to customize (very basically) the "Pure music widget" background. It requires a basic knowledge (very basic) of Photoshop.
You need:
Pure music widget.
ADW launcher or Launcher Pro (I did it with ADW).
Widget Locker.
Multipicture live wallpaper
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
For Lock screen:
Download the LS-Master resource.psd file from http://www.mediafire.com/?fyc4vcoug16cqeo and the Wallies.psd from http://www.mediafire.com/?7sysr37o7bs1gbc
Both are PSD files, that means you can modify the Music Widget BG, both files have an example of one Album art, keep the example, it work like a guide for your custom backgrounds. af course you can change the wallpaper too.
Edit the files until you meet your expectations and save it as PNG or JPG, put those files in your SD Card.
For the lock screen:
In the Widget locker preferences chose a 12x12 grid and hide the Status bar, choose your image for the background. add a 2x2 widget Pure Music Widget and match it with the background
For the desktop:
On the ADW settings (or Launcher pro) choose the 10x10 grid and hide the dock (extend desktop).
Using Multipicture live wallpaper choose your background file for one of your screens and setup the other ones (you can choose a different background for each screen, this is an awesome option isn't?). Add a 4x2 Pure Music Widget and match it with your brand new background.
That was easy, Right?
Sorry for my english.

1) The clock you see is called Simiclock. It is free, Play around with the settings to get it to look like you want.
For transparency go to:
Settings > Background Color > Alpha 0%
To add the battery indicator on the right go to
Settings > Battery Settings> Click *Display Battery*
Note: The divider you see is attached to Simiclock! (Not the weather!)
The desired look of the divider between the weather is made by
resizing SimiClock over the weather widget! (Using LauncherPro)
2) The weather widget is a part of Beautiful Widgets
Hope this help
I'm using launcher pro and I love it however I feel like my icons and date/time Widgets are to small. Is there a way to have bigger icons and Widgets?

You should be able to resize some if the widgets at least, tap and hold on them and a resize box should appear. For the icons maybe an app such as Bettercut would help, you can use custom icons with it, although you'll need to find a set that you're happy with.

Desktop visualizer will let you create widgets of many sizes (which themselves can be resized by Launcher Pro) with icons or images to launch any application.
the problem i see with widget resizing is that it only changes the amount of space it takes up on the screen without actually scaling up the size of the words. also i will look into bettercut and see what its about thanks.

If you use Desktop Visualizer to create widgets with images (not app icons), the images will fill the size of the DW widget.
Take a look at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=857833
I really hate Android's default zoom and crop for wallpapers, and for my purposes this method works better than the picSpeed solution.
You need the following apps:
MultiPicture Live Wallpaper
ADWLauncher EX (I don't know if the regular ADW.Launcher supports the no scrolling option)
----------------
To make a wallpaper stretch full screen I used MultiPicture Live Wallpaper and set up the wallpaper to "fit to full screen". Make sure the picture is set to the home or center window, in my case I set it to screen 3, since I have 5 screens.
This has to be used with ADWLauncher EX, because MultiPicture Live Wallpaper won't display correctly on the stock launcher.
Then in ADW settings -> general behavior -> animations and effects -> wallpaper scrolling set if off if you only want this wallpaper to show.
Now you left with a single full screen wallpaper that is not zoomed in and not cropped.
---------------------
If you leave the scrolling option in ADW on then each screen will contain a fully fitting non-zoomed wallpaper.

This UI is really beautiful. What do I need to do to implement it on my Nexus 7? I've never reskinned (if that's the right term, even) my tablet before, but this was the first layout I really liked. What do I need to get started?

I'm a bit into customizing my home screens to make it look like the ones on mycolorscreen.com and in those UCCW threads.
But there is one thing thats bugging me, and that is the use of app icons on the home screen. I dont like it, its too messy and too iOS'ish.
Some are replacing the app icons with other custom icons, or removes them completely, but i rarely see what i've been trying to do; to make custom icons that open a meny of apps (in one genre..)
Like one icon for music apps, and one for travel apps etc.
I have tried to fix this using tasker widgets, like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
and when i click on the music icon, wich is a tasker widget, it opens a tasker scene with a meny of 4 music apps:
This works pretty good, but i would like the tasker widget icons to be just icons, no subtext under the icon. There is no way in tasker to do this i think, i've tried to make a task with no name but it is simply not allowed.
I've also tried to make a uccw widget, but hotspots in uccw can open apps and shortcut, not a meny of apps..
So the reason why i'm posting this is to find anyone who like my idea, and would make an app that can make widgets that open a meny of apps with custom icons (with the option to remove subtext)
Or does anyone know of a way to do this? with another launcer perhaps? (im using ADW EX)
i know that i can make the launcher remove text under icons, but this doen not apply to my tasker widgets.
seriously just create folders with your other apps inside each folder.
