[Q] All CSCs disappeared after flashing I9100XWKE7 XEUKD1 XXKE4 [Solved] - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

After flashing I9100XWKE7 XEUKD1 XXKE4 with Odin, after the reboot there was a message saying 'No access to .../csc/system...' or 'Can't access .../csc/system...'.
Phone booted successfully, firmware version upgraded but when I check with *#272*IMEI# - no CSCs are available at all. It only shows my current one.
Anyone else with the same problem?

If you took the time to research you'd have seem that it's not a multi-CSC package but only contains XEU csc. This is not a problem, it's working correctly. If you want another CSC that flash a firmware package containing that CSC.

Thanks guys.
@Intreatech, no, XEU is okay for me, it's the one I actually want.

E: failed to mount!!

Hello, i have one piece galaxy II i9100 with following specs:
Android Version: 2.3.5
Baseband: i9100XXKI4
PDA: XWKJ1
Gingerbread XWKJ1
I then flashed this piece with ODIN v.185 with pit file and arabic file i9100JPKF3 (2.3.3), now when i turn on the piece i get recovery screen with errror (E: Failed to mount) in red and cannot go to main screen. I tried factory set, boot etc still same problem...help please
Put phone into download mode (volume down + home + power) and flash your official firmware found from Intratech thread with Odin.
Do NOT use PIT or repartition ! ! Follow his instructions exactly.
If you can't get phone into download mode, try a "Samsung USB jig" found on Ebay for around $2

First of all, you'll ant to get your phone to a working state before worrying about anything else........

Flash the firmware and kernel with "PDA" only checked via Odin. NO RE-PARTITION !!
Edit: Arabic OJPKG1 CSC: http://www.multiupload.com/1U8T9E5UQO
Flash the above CSC Arabic package "CSC" in Odin same time as kernel "PDA".
Edit2: With flashing a different CSC to that of your Product Code, future updates may not be recognised by KIES. Yoy can try KIES without USB debugging enabled though.
Follow Intratech's Guide Exactly.................
Note: This is official firmware, with no root. There is a slighlty faster way, just by flashing alternative firmware with CSC contained, but my links above is what you asked for

Guess what everyone, repaired my phone, flashed with I9100XWKJ1_OJVKJ3_TUR_Android_2.3.5...phone is ok now but i didnt flash kernel, is itok?...also dont want arabic, dont want to take a chance
Glad it worked out! Not sure about the kernel.... But if your product code is wrong, I don't think you'll get OTA updates, you might need it for correct product code. Could be wrong though.
Just hit the "thanks" when you've got the time. Cheers

Can someone help me

How to change CSC code from KOR to XEU when XEU is not in the list ?

Just got my S2 yesterday and KIES said my device is not supported. I found out that because my CSC code is KOR, I tried to change it to XEU by enter CSC code menu but XEU is not in the list. So please tell me how to change mine to XEU and will it be supported by KIES after the CSC code change into XEU ?
Thanks in advance.
If your worried about future updates, flash a complete XEU official firmware package from here to allow KIES updating;

If your not too worried (as you can always update and flash new firmware packages (or part of) with Odin) use Odin instead of KIES.
You could also install a multi CSC and change CSC to XEU (phone dialer *#272*<your IMEI>#) or flash an individual XEU CSC package from the thread (end of post #3). Just use Odin for installing any future updates. Edit: Note changing CSC will most likely wipe your phone, so backup anything important first!
To keep an eye out for updates, check back regularly on Intratech's thread or use a program here to check and download;

[Q] Stock ROM Flashing - CSC missing

I got my phone with I9300XXALE8_I9300OXAALE8. Downloaded the latest version I9300XXALF2_I9300OXAALF2 from sammobile. It is coming with a single file PDA and flashed via odin without pit. But after flashing CSC is unknown. So tried to change the CSC *#272#IMEI# but the list is empty. So decided to flash back to I9300XXALE8_I9300OXAALE8 and I got the CSC back. Again tried to flash the latest one and the result is same CSC unknown. So back to I9300XXALE8_I9300OXAALE8, but this time I didnt get the CSC on this version, same like new version unknown.
Finally flashed I9300XXALF2_I9300OXAALF2 and I got CSC on this time. I dont have any idea why this misbehavior is happening while flashing. Any suggestions?
Quick look..
1. Flash I9300XXALF2_I9300OXAALF2 - Result-unknown CSC
2. Flash I9300XXALE8_I9300OXAALE8 - Result-CSC is there
3. Flash I9300XXALF2_I9300OXAALF2 - Result-unknown CSC
4. Flash I9300XXALE8_I9300OXAALE8 - Result-unknown CSC
5. Flash I9300XXALF2_I9300OXAALF2 - Result-CSC is there
Regards...
Any luck resolving that issue?

[Q] CSC unknown

Hello,
had stock XEO ROM. Decided to switch to BTU. Took latest release (XXEMB1) from Sammobile and flashed it via Odin. Now even *#1234# shows its XXEMB1, my CSC is actually unknown and Kies does not support it (shows its KOR). How do i fix that and make my CSC be BTU? Thank You.
Gytis
If you flashed via Odin then it's normal and dont expect kies support. If you back to stock firmware and wait via OTA or Kies then you can see your csc and kies support.

Thats strange. So the only way is to untar FW, extract cashe.img, find BTU in CSC directory, copy its content into main CSC directory to overwrite KOR content. Make img file again, tar it and try to flash?
first of all CSC unknown is not a big issue, you can use the phone normally.
second, for most people (incl. me) reflashing the rom will give you back the CSC (if nothing was changed with the newer firmwares).
to change the CSC, try CSC changer from market or search for a flashable zip here on xda
So, to sum up: extracting CSC and pasting BTU content over default content in CSC dir did not help - flashed only modified CSC.tar.md5 and still, Kies shows KOR and not supported. Decided to flash back to initial stock SEB FW. Did that and still no success - my CSC is KOR in Kies. Seems like once you flashed via Odin, you are forever lost...

[Q] Verifing modem, pda, and csc on S5830M after flashing

hi guys, i got a SGA S5830M with this stock firmware S5830MWHLE3_S5830MCOLLE1_COL.zip, and I flash this one with odin S5830MWHLK2_S5830MCOLLK3_COL (downloaded from sammobile), but when I verify with code *#1234# appears data of this one S5830MWHLE3_S5830MCOLLE1...even in "about phone" on phone settings...apparently flashing finish ok but why keep showing old firmware data????
