Well "OK" speak for itself, and I assume that "9600M" means that you have 9600 MegaBytes left on your internal SD card.
Samsung probably chose to show this because full HD recording can take your whole SD card space in no time

It tells you how much space you have left on your Phone / microSD card memory if you have the camera to store the videos / pictures there.
Then when you start to record a movie, it will show you how much space the movie is taking.
So the more you record, the more the first number goes up.
I recorded a movie that was 1 minute and 25 seconds long, and it took 174 MB.

Huh, I should have figured that out myself. I'm going to put it down to a blonde moment.

it means you have to say "OK" 9600MILLION times out loud for the video to start playing automatically!
let me know if it worked!

Internal phone storage

I thought our phone had 16 gigabytes of memory? My phone is only showing a little over 9 gb.
Sent from my EVO using XDA
I would like to know the answer to this as well. I have 2GB of dedicated app space and abour 10GB of total space showing. Where is the 16GB that is advertised?
i know every phone has a little bit less then advertised (due to rom size) but 6GB missing????? thats just...i mean the rom cant take up 6GB now...can it?
Sent From The Phone Of Gamers
this has been said many of times, even by sprint themselves, the rest is dedicated for ics and updates and stuff
What she said on the gn about 3-4 gigs is for os etc then a total 2gb for apps on the phone everything else is for whatever

16GB Unformatted giving around 14GB usable... Seems about right to me.
i guess you think the phone loads ics from the cloud

Uploaded videos only take half the screen...

I am not sure if this is where this thread needs to go, but I am trying to make a video with clips of my recovery (I had a spinal-cord injury last summer and can not walk, yet), my phone tells me the resolution of these videos is 1280x720, however when I upload them to YouTube (or Google Drive or Dropbox) the video only takes up about half the total width, like this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3SXSMd3wwY
This is an issue because I am trying to make a video, to show all my doctors, therapists, family and friends but the clips only use about half the total screen and I need more, is there a way I can fix this or will I need to buy a video camera?
This is what happens when I try to import the clips into iMovie, the clip with the correct orientation looks like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
And when I rotate the clip, it takes up the full space but the orientation is not right:
I made a quick movie then sent it to www.vimio.com. It plays correctly.
http://vimeo.com/46943382
But it looks like the import into iMovie is the problem. How are you transferring clips to your mac?
To the best of my knowledge it depends on how it is filmed.
Recording in landscape mode should fix the issue.

Amigo you are so right. I made another video holding the camera in portrait and I got this:
Which matches the OP's video.
Good job!

[Q] Data retrieval from water-damaged phone?

Hey everyone,
I recently took my beloved Amaze for a swim in the Atlantic Ocean, and it no longer works. (duh, lol) I have some pictures saved on the internal memory of the phone that I would love to get back, by any means necessary. I know that on the HTC HD7, the internal memory was an actual micro SD card inside the phone. Would that be the case for the Amaze? And if not, are there any other ways that you guys can think of to access the data? Thanks for any and all suggestions you have.
Some info:
The phone won't connect to the computer via USB, nor will the orange charging light come on if power is applied. Thanks again.
You have but very few chances to get your pictures back. Even if you manage to power the phone, your internal memory could have been automatically formatted because the circuits were closed. Check this thread.
I could find no service manual on the Net, but I have a picture of my mother board, maybe someone will help you to localize the internal memory on it.

Google play music dead slow.

Hi
I bought Nexus 6P few weeks ago and I got 90 days of free trial of Google Music Streaming. I am mostly either Spotify or Tidal subscriber, but I thought to giving it a try to Google Music as it is free. So I subscribed. And now when I try to play music, it takes hell lot of time just to buffer single song. I pause the play button and left it for 10 seconds to buffer and when I press play, it started buffering from the place where I last paused. Secondly, when I try to download an Album, Jesus, it takes so much time, like I kept my phone for 30 mins and it downloaded only 5% and I guess it was stuck there.
Here is the screenshot of my settings :

I have no idea what's wrong and btw, I am using Android N. But I don't think that because of Android N this problem is having. Well, let me know.
And yes, I am using 50MBps WiFi, so no slow Internet for me, in case you are wondering. And I haven't tried on my 3G because its costly lol.
Thanks.

Question about/help with... SD Card issue

Not sure if I am posting in right place. If I am not, I apologize.
I have a S9+. I was using the camera app called Camera MX. I took some pics a week or so ago, then I took some this morning. When I go into the gallery of the camera app (the part where it shows the little thumbnail of the pics), the pics that I took a week ago have a little SD card icon in the corner of the thumbnail. And if I select one of those and try to delete it, I get a pop up screen.
I posted a screenshot of the pop up...
**If u cant see pic, the pop up says
FAILED TO DELETE FILES: these files can not be deleted due to restricted SD card access.**
So what does it mean? How can I fix it??
I dont think I have any kind of restrictions on my SD card. I have no clue.
Sorry if confusing.
I appreciate all the help.

Use Samsung Gallery instead, seems the app gallery doesn't have permissions to delete.
