Hey everybody! I made this android robot battery mod icon using uot with the gladiatrix 3 b2 framework and gingerblur 4.5. so only flash this if you are on gladiatrix3 b2 or gingerblur 4.5 !!
I have tested these different uot battery icons on my phone which is an ATT atrix with 1.83 firmware numerous times and they work perfect if done the correct way!!This will not make your phone do 1% percent battery increases/decreases it just will give you a new battery icon! Thats it! If you want the 1% mod look for it in the apps and themes thread here! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1105272&highlight=battery+mod This is to be flashed through Tenfars CWM only!! If you guys want more? I will make more through UOT as there are many different kinds besides the robot.
Heres the link for the mod for gladiatrix3 b2!! http://www.mediafire.com/?jkoodi47o3ui56u
Link for those on gingerblur 4.5 http://www.mediafire.com/?9u2gl9n9bmsyl4h
Note: I am not responsible for any kind of damage or data loss from flashing this!! flash at your own risk!!! Always backup before flashing anything as well!! Enjoy!
Heres a pic!!!

I wish! I just made a thread about that myself! I dont actually make these! They're from a site called UOT but alot of people were having problems with installing these. So I fixed it all up so you can just flash it like normal through tenfars CWM and you're done no work involved with matching up frameworks and fixing errors and things of that nature! These are cool but as I said alot of people ended up soft bricking and such when attempting to do it on their own. So I wanted to make it as easy as possible for everyone to have these batt mods! Thats all! If anybody out there can do a skull batt mod I'd greatly appreciate it!
I may do the dogs paw one next it kinda caught my interest!

Very newbie question I know....
Can anyone point me to the process for manually integrating battery mods into the framework.apk as for the above listed builds current morphs do not work. The framework file has apparently changed. I know where to copy the actual icon/image files but am not sure what other files need to be moved/copied. Also in this instance would I need to also sign the resulting framework.apk?
anyone? .....
Eugene has to make a version of his rom with the batt mod... You can't decompile and recompile a themed framework....
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
I'm also looking for a accurate battery for the new leaked software, this inaccurate icon is driving me crazy.

I am running this one (last one in list) with Eugene's Hybrid R3 ROM right now, flashed the file through ROM Manager and it works perfect:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=758797
I also downloaded "Battery Life" from the Market cause you can set it up to show battery temp also.
+1 for the accurate battery mod for new leaked vibrant firmware...
It's one of the most useful mods in my opinion..

I just got this working, but it is part of an "all in one" mod
I pulled the framework-res.apk and made it flashable with Clockwork
and is attached to this post
the images in this mod are from the Stock Battery mod found in the below thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=758797
I get a fc when I flashed the stock accurate battery mod on the leaked firmware, something like android.media and then android.phone. I cleared the cache, I also have the battstatt widget running not sure if that has anything to do with it or not

Unless I'm mistaken, those battery images were from one of my original mods, here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=758797
I'm glad you like it, and got your own version working for the new JI2 firmware, but I spent several days tweaking all those stupid png images to be just right, and people that don't give credit are just another reason why I'll probably never release anything again.
Sigh, such a wonderful community, =(

I just flashed this one and got multiple FC's, cant even get to home screen.

yes, they are your images I originaly had a longer post with a link to your thread
but I edited it because the battery mod was part of a larger package of mods,
and one of the mods (mobileAP) is broken on the leaked firmware.
I threw together these morphs because I just wanted the Stock Battery on Bionix I have included the Stock Battery and also Stock Battery with Accurate percentage. I know a few others asked for it also, so here ya go.
INSTALL>>>
Download Battery of Choice
Open Metamorph
Choose 'Unzip/Extract new theme'
Select file
Apply All
Enjoy!
Thanks. Work great!
Thanks man. This is what I was looking for. Glad you put it together
Any chance for some Froyo love on this? Out of all the battery mods, I like this one the best. Thanks!
Edit --
Never mind. I was able to do it by going here http://circle.glx.nl/ (UOT Kitchen). Thanks anyway. For anyone else here it is if you want it. Only works on deodexed and tested on only JL4 deodexed. Not responsible if you screw up your phone! Do a nanroid FIRST!!!
Anyone care to take a crack at porting this to JK6? I think it looks great!

I don't know if you bothered to check or not, but there's 2 gingerbread themes for the vibrant already.
EDIT: There's 3 version for Vibrant.

I did. One only changed the status bar, and the other had a drop down that looked totally different and doesn't look like any of the gingerbread drop down menus I've seen.
I also saw one for CM 6.1 but that doesn't help me either
Yeah that looks sexy...do any of the current Gingerbread ones work on Macnut 14?
Yeah this looks to be the most complete theme. Love that smooth AOSP lockscreen.
That is a beautifully ported ROM to the Captivate. I would love to see that on Vibrant! I personally am not fond of the data signal icons but hey, that's a simple change if we can get a port!
Ive got finals coming up, but I may tear this apart and see how easily it can be ported.
I got the one for cm6 and I might say it is impressive.. but if ur still not happy with these nice themes. Then I say download that and pull the framework-res.apk images and build from there...

It's not that I'm not happy with the cm6 one, but I'm not running cm6 on my phone so it doesn't work for me.
I'm running the DB Gingermix and loving it, but I would like to find some custom battery icons and reception bar icons to put into my notification bar. I would imagine its like flashing any zip file from recovery? download the zip file, put into SD root, then flash from recovery and reboot?
I'd like to second this request. I'm running Gingeritis 1.0 FINAL and I'm looking to add a circle battery indicator with percentage in the middle. I tried to install the one from Das BAMF. It did change the icon properly, but also caused battery charging and longevity problems. When I restored, these resolved.
Any help for this?
I'm waiting for this as well.
Stop waiting and do a search for UOT kitchen. Just sayin...

Because we obviously dont know what the next step is or where we should be looking, which is why I asked. If I knew what to search for or what steps to take, I wouldn't have asked nor would have 2 others. next time maybe you could say...."check out UOT kitchen, you may find what your looking for there. hope that helps."
...just sayin

thanks for the advice on UOT kitchen, I appreciate the direction because I didn't know any better.
UOT kitchen is great but it's not letting me mod the battery on Das BAMF Beta 6
I am proud to present.... Discreet Blue Theme now for SM-T80X Devices!
First off, this took me weeks to do. I had tests and many projects to do. It took me forever to figure this out! I finally fixed it for the T800 but it should work fine on T80X devices too. I had to manually delete one file and fix an xml. Took me forever to learn but I got it. Ive quit this project ages ago but thought of a fix after overlooking the files. Please press the thanks button as this took me forever. And those who thank me all the time, thank you too
Currently I am running ytab rom. Should work fine as I used universal stuff.
Confirmed working fine on T805 also.
Download: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95916177934544542
How to install: It has an aroma installer. Just flash in twrp and pick the option you want. Then reboot.
Credits: @reggie cheeks @Tkkg1994 @toscha42 and finally ytab rom.
Enjoy Enjoy Enjoy.

I just installed it so I haven't explored everything, but what a beautiful and subtle theme. Fits everything perfectly. I love it so far. Thank you so much for all your hard work. :good:
I think I will try it on my T-805.
What if it does not work or if I want to go back to stock? Do I have to flash ROM again? Is it ROM Base independent?
Regards

Just backup your /system in twrp. Or you can redirty flash the rom you have now. Dirty flashing back an rom gets you back if you have bootloops

Took me a while to port and fix it for the T800. Originally it was for the T805 but had crashes on both sometimes. Thanks for testing btw!
Great job on this! If you remember the settings side bar let me know. I'm assuming you have apks or files that would keep this from working on t700.
Nice! I'm on CM since a couple of weeks nos, but this is something of a sweet once I miss touchwiz and decide to return.
Thanks DUHA!

You can try if youd like. Just make sure you make an backup. I removed the layout xmls so it wont crash on unsupported device. Idk. Anyway, the settinge side bar might be in framework-res>res>color>tw_sub_tab_indicator text.xml or it could also be in framework-res>res>drawable> and one of these files in this screenshot. Sorry for not knowing the exact thing on it. But its in the framework or has to be.
Very nice man!
I'm looking forward for something like this when Lollipop comes out, maybe we can make something together and then I can add it to the aroma installer. NIce work!:good::good:
I'll start working on an lollipop theme I guess. They made the blue color more ugly
A short feedback from me: Running great until now on my T805 :good: No issues so far
