[Q] Help! I want to go back to stock

I rooted my phone a few months ago and have been having uses and want to go back to stock. How do I do that? I have been trying to research it but having difficulty. please help.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=782204
i tried that link and half the link there dont work so i can download anything. please help.
If you want to go back to stock...click the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1044474 use the DL09 download in Odin and make sure you put that in the PDA part.
That will take you back to stock. If you want to go further with it...you can always upgrade the phone via Verizon...I have used DL09 to take me back to stock and then I used the EA28 update as well (which you can use also) then update from the EA28 via Verizon. It works everytime.
If that don't work...try it again but add the PIT file (just search for atlas.pit) if you can't find it let me know and I'll link to it.
Or you can look at the sticky at the top of this forum. Here's the link in case you're on mobile. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1053567
Basically, you Odin to some version of stock. DL09 and DI01 are the most common. Once there, just use OTA to bring you up to current.
This thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=908451 has links to both Odin and DL09 and instructions on how to use them.
Once you've booted into DL09, press the menu button, then choose Settings, then About Phone, then System Updates, then Check New. Apply any updates VZW offers and then check for more. Keep doing that until there aren't any left.
Wait, you say you rooted your phone. Did you just root it or did you install a ROM? If all you did is root your phone, then you're already on stock. In that case you just need to unroot, which is a much simpler process.
Sorry it took me so long to get back to ya, I installed a rom to root my phone. I went all the way back to DL09, then I applied the EA28 update from Adryn thread, then from there I just kept updating through Verizon until there was nothing left...then I put Clockwork 3.x.x on it, then I installed UKB 2.0 and it rooted automatically.
Hope that helps you. You will only make it to the ED04 update, then from there if you want it stock just leave it be, or install UKB 2.0 w/either pbj kernal or otb.

I think we have a miscommunication. I was speaking to the OP, wherever he may be.

[Q] Want to backup stock odin rom, root and unroot my i717R

Hey guys, I have found most of the info I need, but am still left with a few questions after going through the forums. Maybe I am getting old, but I don't want to take it apart if I can't put it back together, so to speak.
What I want to do, is root my Rogers Galaxy Note without tripping the flash counter, which I learned is to:
Use Odin to flash CWR, and then reboot and install superuser from sd card. No problems so far, that seems simple. The problem I have is with restoring it to full stock. If I perform the above mentioned steps, do I need to flash a custom image? How would I remove CWM and superuser? Would I need to flash back to my stock ROM, and then my stock bootloader? Also, how do make a backup of my Rogers stock ROM/kernel? I read that the existing one has a Telus splash screen.
I found this thread, but the member implies to use titanium backup....wouldn't that back up a rooted ROM?
And this one says you can't make image unless you are rooted. How would I be able to go back to full stock?

Easiest way to get back to full stock

I need to know the easiest way to unroot a unlocked bootloader to completely stock like it would come from Verizon with 4.3. Right now it has a cwm recovery .Would I just use Odin with the official firmware in download mode,? Also can 4.3 just be downloaded from Samsung? Thanks
Yes, Odin is by far the easiest method of returning to stock.
This guide explains everything, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2024207
It returns to stock 4.1.2 (from there you can download the OTA, or you might try finding a 4.3 stock rom)
Hope I was of some help

Sprint Note 3 4.3 Stock PIT

So my attempts to return my phone back to unrooted condition (odin stock rom back in) so I can OTA update from Jellybean to KitKat failed. I now tripped knox (I suppose who cares right?) and the rom wouldn't install and discovered I had to reinstall a PIT file to be able to boot again. I don't think I have a stock one because now when I try to OTA update it tells me it can't because it's been tampered with. Does anyone have the stock Sprint Note 3 PIT file for Android 4.3? I'm hoping after putting a stock PIT in there the OTA update will work? Or is it because I'm rooted?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! I did do a search didn't find any stock PIT files on this forum. If I missed the thread apologies.
Just tried factory reset, no go =(.

Odin stock tar, factory data reset, take the ota or download the nc5d update zip and flash in stock recovery, if thats what you are after. Then root. ota wont take if system status is custom.

Thank you sir. Actually turns out I was loading the wrong stock ROM. The right one was here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=50486348&postcount=45
Hopefully this helps someone else out that stumbles on to this. If you appear to have bricked your phone with the wrong ROM just reflash the PIT then try this one (I was Sprint Note 3 Android version 4.3).
I'm in the middle of an OTA update now =).
