i have XDA from GERMANY but i can't use it i need english version or polish, so how can i change full language of my new XDA2. how to change rom etc...
the rom is where the language is
if you want to change language you need to change rom
and not sure if you can get a polish rom
ms havent really localized windows CE for that many languages
thank's a lot. can you post a link where i can find info about changing rom and rom file of course. i'm newbe at this forum and i didn't find i t yet.

Or just download the rom of your choice, use er2003edit to modify it, and you are good to go. And you also have the forum search button, a lot of posts covering this already... :lol:

yes but some people get country code and device code issues with it if their device is localized to another country then the upgrade

Sorry I a bit confused, I too will be buying a German XDA and want to change it to English, but I want to make sure there is nothing else I should worry about, so if I change the ROM does that mean its like the same as a English version.

Does anyone have an email address for the company that is manufacturing the Dopod 696, as I'm sure they must have an English version of their ROM.
Am I wrong in thinking they would have started with a English version & then translated it to Simple Chinese, if so we could request a copy of the english rom update?

Is there any way to change my Language ID. Cuz my was WWE and now it shows me CDL. I've made a mistake when with the Hex editor.
So PLS if someone nows.
I am confusing with rom language translated, so if I want to change language on my wm2003se, I just need to use hex editor to modify my rom info (language code section) and it will change into the language that I want ? or it is much more complex than that ?!
moreover, anyone could provide wm2003se CHT version of rom ? I don't want to run into trouble, so I hope some expert could help me to deal with it, Thanks.

Can i change model name in XDAndroid plz ? I have HTC Topaz with the original XDAndroid system.ex2 i guess if i change the system image it will be changed but there are a method for changing it without change system.ex2 ?
