I am confusing with rom language translated, so if I want to change language on my wm2003se, I just need to use hex editor to modify my rom info (language code section) and it will change into the language that I want ? or it is much more complex than that ?!
moreover, anyone could provide wm2003se CHT version of rom ? I don't want to run into trouble, so I hope some expert could help me to deal with it, Thanks.
Hey friends and developers of XDA,
I flashed any english Roms with Hard-SPL and it works great. But I have in any Roms every time the same Problem with the "germany Keyboard Layout". After flashing I change the individuell parameter in the Rom for example
1.) in Seetings/System/RegionalSettings to germany
2.) in Advance Config Tool 3.3.0.0; Input / Keyboard Layout: Germany
in the virtual Keyboard Layout are all Keys in german (ö, ä, ...) but on the Hardwaykeyboard the Keys are in english layout. The Z are on Y, etc.
What is missing in the Rom´s to get a germany hardwarelayout?

Hello guys,
this afternoon i flashed WinMo 6.5 from Da_G and noticed that under given registry path 1033 instead of 409 stood.
So I searched a bit the internet and immediately found the right page.

In Windows Mobile 6.1 the language ID is saved as a Hexadecimal
But in Windows Mobile 6.5 as Decimal!
So.. back to the post.
German Users should replace 1033 with 1031 (@ 6.5)!

i also tried to change the hardware keyboard to german, but without any success. I don't know why. I changed the Settings and the parameters in Adv. Config Tool. I am using the EnergyROM Series 2.0 21042!!!
I also changed the value for CurLang from 409 to 407.
Please help me!!!

I am spanish and i have a hp 6815rw. The problem is that i have a 1.05 boot loader and the WM5 in spanish. I find a patch of hp for the 1.10 boot loader but only work in english. Sorry for my English.

Okay Hex editing is essentialing changing the hex values within a file (usually a program or dll file of sorts) and you usually use a HEX Editor. In my opinion, this might be a bit hard so search for a spanish OS from your manufacturer and if you cant then try locating a custom made OS for your device in english and change the language settings to spanish.
I want to activate a TT map but no Number for Device ID will be accepted.

Hi, the device id is in ttnavigator.bif file, you can find it in navigator folder and open it with notepad
