Hannspree sn10t1 sensor problem - G Tablet Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hy there.
I just got my hannspree SN10T1 tablet.
I bought it because it have a 10 inch capacitive screen and the tegra 2 processing power.
The thing is the specs says it has a G-Sensor, so i installed a game that i have on my htc desire.
The game is called Shaky Towers ( http://android-apps.com/articles/reviews/a-review-of-shaky-towers-for-android ) .
The point of the game is to tilt ur phone (the tablet in this case) sideways in order to keep the blocks from falling, but i had A HUGE BAD SUPRISE to se that my tablet did not register any sideways movement.
What is going on ?!
I saw that the auto rotate works in the browse and in other apps, so the sensor seems to be working.
But what with the games ?
I have to say that this is not the first game i tryied that does not record sideways movement.
So what is going on !?

it seems that the sensor is fine.
the problem is with the game.
it doesnt record any tilting of the tablet.
other games work perfect.

[Q] how many touches does gtab support?

how many simultaneous touches does it support? and how is multitouch performance? (no issue whatsoever to report?)
It can track 2 points. Performance is good, but not perfect. I have an issue where 2 points that cross the same x or y axis lose responsiveness. The result is that I need to pinch diagonally rather than vertically, it's not a big problem. Other users haven't experienced this problem, but it's been the same for me across multiple roms and after numerous calibrations. Be aware of the viewing angles, the screen looks great dead on, but quickly diminishes at off angles. This is much more of an issue in portrait than landscape mode. There are Youtube videos illustrating the viewing angles. I myself don't find it too annoying.
sounds that it has similar issues as the htc desire or nexus one.. i already own htc desire and multitouch is a mess and i cannot play multitouch games or use multitouch apps... if there's same issue on gtab it's a no go for me
Multitouch games and apps work well. Most games that require 2 joysticks have the option to offset them, but even those that are on the same axis work well for me. PewPew for example works flawelssly.
does everyone has this problem? is this problem present in all models of gtab?
i don't have that problem, 2 point works perfect for me.
can you try multitouch tester to verify that it does not have any issue when the 2 touches are on the same axis plz?

Click to collapse
tonight I can and report back
everything works perfect for me with two simoltaneus touches no y axis or x axis problem
is there the problem that occurs in vega? i.e. when there are more than 2 touches, the touch panel detects no touch at all?

accelerometer wrong orientation for games?

So I loaded some of my favorite games and find out the accelerometer is oriented sideways. So for racing games, I have to hold it flat and tilt the top down for left, or bottom down for right. I read that this is because game developers aren't expecting tablets to be oriented landscape primarily like ours are.
I have several games that I NEED tilt control for to win (ie heavy gunner) and games that would be fun to play (racing ones especially).
Now the million dollar question, is there a fix for this?
I noticed this with Asphalt 6, thought it was game related but maybe it's device related...
I think it is game related. Reason I say this is several people have Dead Space working in landscape but the market version doesn't.

[Q] Problem with some games, any help?

So I tried playing Cytus (a rhythm game) on my ZU while putting it on table and realized I miss a lot during those notes where I have to press them at the same time. It felt better when I held it on my hand instead but I still have some missing notes
Now I bring two phones out so that I could play the game... kinda disappointed in ZU.
anyone else have this problem/ can test it out for me?
Looked around youtube and google for gaming reviews but couldn't find any review on Z Ultra playing rhythm game...
Install Display Tester and use the "Multi-touch counter". It should register 10 fingers, like mine does. Also, i installed Real Drum, and i hit that set like a mad man, and it didn't drop a single beat.
Tried Display tester, it did registered 10 fingers. Went to try real drum, it seems alright when I spammed it randomly, but when I tried to tap two of them together repetitively (like the crash and ride) , one of them tends to miss it once in a while.
Again, I tried it while my ZU is on a table and there's the missing problem, but doesn't seem to have any problem while holding it in my hands.

Gaming on Surface Duo ?

Hi guys,
One question I would like to ask as I haven't seen any report on this I think at least in here.
I would like to install games to play them on the surface duo. Being able to play full screen (so with game spanned on both displays) is really a nice thought.
BUT : if game is developed to be played on a single display device in PORTRAIT mode, it is impossible to play it on the Surface at least here. Because it does not "rotate" rotate the right way. So I am always with the game facing downwards instead of upwards...
Here are 2 games I tried that gave the same result :
- Cody Cross
- Rogue Land
With all other problems (one display randomly deciding to shut down : poor battery life ; weakness around USB-C connector ; lack of launcher to use decently...) makes it really too much.
I know this is not a gaming phone, but still. Not being intended to be and not being able to are 2 different things I think.
Regards.

Elephone S8 Ghost Touch

I have this phone as part of my collection, great display and colours, but since like a year ago an issue with the screen started, it is detecting ghost touches near the bottom right to the middle right of the screen, and to the top right (basically it jumps through all the right side of the screen) making some days impossible to use it, but out of the sudden it becomes normal and I can use it normally without problem for weeks and months, but the problem keeps returning.
The screen is not cracked and is in flawless condition (at least by using human eye), but the phone has like 2 falls with silicon cover.
• Has anyone had this same problem with ghost touches?
• Can it be a really micro, micro display crack?
• Or because some apps started to behave weird lately ( not ghost touches, but not displaying images and things like that, maybe due to the Android 7.1 version? ) it can be software problem?
no lo ze
