anyone have a problem with their baseband not changing. I tried to flash the 4.5.9.1 att 2.3.4. radio. My baseband remains baseband N_01.77.15p. even though i have "successfully" flashed with fastboot or the sbf flash.
I also tried flashing the 01.97.00R but my baseband remains the same??
Anyone had similar issues, I am unlocked and the phone is sim-unlocked on att 2.3.4
Same issue.... Even after successful flash (using sbf_flash), I'm still showing N_01.77.15P
possible fix (thro' irc): use rsdlite..... sbf_flash won't update radio
Same issue here. No idea what's going on you

Do a complete wipe, then update to the latest software, if you already have the latest update then just wipe and wipe dalvik cache too.

Hi all
I dont know why / how but my cell radio suddenly went off and wont turn back on.
I am rooted BL unlocked on Nottachtrix 1.3.1 ROM.
I am also SIM unlocked and I live in India. I have the AT&T atrix.
What might have caused the issue
I was messing around in *#*#4636#*#* with the radio band.
I had this signal boosting app which I use but cant find it on the market to link it now. I 've been using this app for a while so dont know why it would mess up now.
I am not sure if these are what caused the issue but just letting u know
Things I have done so far
Battery pull
Different sim card / different network
I tried flashing the ROM again with full wipe but still no luck
Flashed CM7 Ba2tf and the problem persists.. can I rule out that it is software related?
Everything else is working fine.
I am out of ideas and help is very much appreciated.
Thanks
SOLUTION
The Easiest Fix for this issue is Flashing the right baseband in CWM recovery.
The radio is flashed separately from the Android os. Try a new baseband. However be sure to get the right one for your phone.

Issue solved. I 'll detail what I did so it can help others.
Yes. Selecting the USA Band is what caused the issue.
I dint know that basebands could be flashed on Atrix ROMs. I wish I 've known it sooner. Would 've saved me a lot of trouble. Anyway I went with the SBF method.
I had the 4.5.91 earlier but I went with 4.5.141 to be safe.
Everything went smooth but at the end RSD lite said "Please manually reboot this phone" and the phone went into a boot loop at the M logo. I looked around and after a while found that a Wipe fixes it in stock recovery.
1. Disconnected the phone
2. Pulled out the battery.
3. Rebooted and went into stock recovery.
4. Wiped data and rebooted.
5. Got to home screen fine. Rebooted once again to make sure everything is fine.
Then inserted sim card and I had a signal. Everthing is working great.
Bro i have solution.... Btw... You must have flashed the wrong rom.... Kindly download nd install other one ..or use custom cm14 ROM or miui for best experience..
Hi guys,
I've a strange problem... I tried to flash cyanogenmod 7 on lg p500 but i got uknown baseband... so, i changed it to 10E without success.
Now, i restored V20G official 2.3.3 firmware and it is still unknown. I can't choose any network.
I tried too, to flash on V20G the 20G baseband but the problem is always here.
Is there a way to solve this? Maybe it's an HW problem?
Thanks.
PS. Sim card is not recognized, i tried 3 diff sims!
Flash new baseband.. flashing zip stock firmware wont change baseband!!
You can't just flash the rom to change the baseband, you have to use either the KDZ updater or LG's official upgrade. Some people have problems with KDZ, I personally have never had any. There's a good guide on it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1060121 except instead of using the v10E firmware like in the guide, you should use a v20 firmware, it really doesn't matter which v20 (V20A, V20C, V20G). You could also use LG's official updater which is safer, it's available on their website. Make sure to backup anything you don't want to lose because flashing this new firmware will wipe everything, I would even backup your sd card. You will also lose root and your custom recovery, which can be gotten back very easily.

Hi,
I had same issue. I had tried more than 10 sim card but my phone wont recognize any of them. I tried to change baseband, tried different ROMs and even flashed LG original firmware but to no avail. Then i showed my mobile to showroom and they repaired it. The problem was with hardware antena or pcb or something like that. I think you have the same issue like i had. After repair my mobile works perfectly and detect every sim card. Show your mobile to showroom and Gud luck.
Basically the problem is, after flashing any CM9 or CM10 rom, I've got no signal, I'm sure that there's no PIN on my SIM, I've even tried to unlock the SIM with another phone, I've dialed the 4636 number trying to turn off the radio, the button didn't worked, I've tried flashing the rom with my phone rooted unrooted, with SIM and without it, I've relocked the bootloader and unlocked it again and none has worked for me, I'm desperate to try an JB rom and I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
Just FYI
My base rom is Stock 2.1 with stock kernel, could this be the problem?

You need baseband 2.1.71 or generic 2.3.3 firmware.
Regards
Do you know where can I get the generic firmware, I can't seem to find it

I’m a previously proud owner of a Droid Razr Maxx - xt912 CDMA version.
I followed Matt’s instructions on flashing the December JB leak with root. It worked great since January until recently…I’m not sure what happened but I lost the LTE part of my Baseband. Now I have can’t get 4G. I tried following someone’s instructions which included using RSD to flash an older ROM (was supposed to correct my baseband). …ended up bricking my Razr. I managed to restore to stock JB using matt’s “batman” utility using option 1….still missing LTE in my baseband.
I don’t even care about being rooted anymore, though it would be nice. I am just trying to restore my 4G. I live and work close to Boston and have always had strong 4G connectivity.
Steps taken
Did the *#*#4636#*#* and made sure my preferred network type is set to LTE/CDMA/EvDo/GSM/WCDMA
In My Mobile Network Settings I made sure my preferred network mode is set to LTE/CDMA
I did the *228 and *22899 and received on screen confirmation
I’m leading towards it not being setting related but the fact that I am missing the LTE portion of my radio as shown in my phone baseband version info below, however, I have not found a way to get the LTE back on the phone.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
