International Warranties?

Hi there
I bought my Atrix online, I live in Australia.
Now I have problem with the phone I took to the moto repair shop they said they can't fix it as it does not have an Australian label on the back! and it's not a OZ stock!
I'm still 6 months warranty according to me IEMI number but it's based on US!
What do u guys suggests? can I post it to US motorola? possible?
Advice needed
IMO, you should call up Motorola customer service during their normal business hours.
what is wrong with your phone though? it might be cheaper just to do the repairs yourself.
It's not loading/starting up.

Xperia Repair in Italy/EU/US

Hey all,
I'm a US Soldier stationed in Italy and bought an Xperia U from a store here. The phone won't read the SIM anymore and I need to send it in, I just don't know where I can send it. Would I be able to send it to a US repair place or does it have to be an Italy place? The phone is only a month old so it's definitely under warranty and there is no water damage. Any ideas for where I can send it in Italy or the US for repair?
Thanks.

Since you bought it before it was released in the US, Sony US are not held responsible for warranty claims.
You should send it back for warranty in the country of purchase or claim warranty from the seller you bought it from.

Xperia S Warranty Transfer

Hey guys,
My cousin bought an xperia s for me from US with US warranty from amazon(it was 4k less dan d price in Indian Markets).
Is there any way the warranty can be made applicable in India?
Can the ownership of the device warranty be transfered to India in my name?
Or Can we buy a separate warranty for the device in India?
Please help!!!
Thanx ppl in advance
You should contact Sony in your region and find out from them. If such a thing is not possible, you should consider taking out an insurance plan for your phone from a third party, or if you have Home Insurance you should check to see if such things as Mobile Phones are covered under your policy.

[Q] Buying used Z2

Hi all, I'm looking to purchase a used Sony Xperia Z2. I will be doing this off Gumtree, which is an Australian classifields website where people can sell and buy items, where they usually meet up to exchange these items. I was just wondering if there is anything I should look out for when I go to meet the person, such as IMEI check, specific ports i should check etc.
The link to the item - http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/narre-warren/mobile-phones/sony-xperia-z2/1058044455
He/she said they had purchased it from Telstra (a telecommunications company in Australia) outright, and that there is nothing wrong with the device, but they do not have a receipt to prove the purchase.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks

Personally I would never buy a phone without receipt, could be stolen and I think you would need the receipt in order to get any warranty services
Sent from my Xperia Z2
