Today makes a year that I've been with sprint and I have two lines on the 1500 family plan how would I go about getting my credit checked and my account reviewed so they can see I paid my bills on time so I can add a third line? It's still saying I can't add one on the website store.

How long you being with sprint? I? Was almost a year with them bills on time and they wouldn't let me, I went to the store to upgrade a phone line, and I told the representative about, my problem and I guess he have some people working inside sprint and he was able to give me 2 more lines
If you don't have an Evo3d well you don't have an Evo3d
My guess is you'd have to call them and talk to a rep and see what they say
My one year with them was in June and I was able to add a third line in July so call the rep they can do it.

The site is screwed, I had 2 lines and it said I.couldn't add any, well I added 3 more off wirefly.com. when.I opened my account I qualified for 5 lines so the site is oblivious

That same thing happen to me but I told them that I needed it early and they gave it to me in July instead of waiting in August

Wow I surprised....I thought.they would have just given it to ya considering if yur account is in good standings......not sure how other carriers are, but its always seemed as if yur account was in good standing, then u had the ability to do.more with yur account with sprint.

Hmmm interesting.....I started the 1500 min unlimited data plan in November and I was able to add a third line and order the 3d. I did it all from within my account on the sprint page a few weeks after it came out. I didn't even know there was a waiting period for new customers...they just added it and renewed my contract.

I had the same problem as you . Except i had 3 lines and wanted 5. It was a hassle to get we had the plan for a year just like you.
My suggestion is that you look up sprints "credit department "number and give them a call.
Tell them you called customer service a few months ago and they told you that this month should be the month that you can add another line.
You have to have good credit when they go to check.

It's all about who you talk to. Call them/ go into the store. We have 5 lines, which is over the limit for a family plan.

See I was able to use the add a line option from within my account after about 8 months and everything went through fine. I guess its possible that the contract with someone under 18 has some different stipulations including that 13 month rule?

Well, I did too.
And boy was my hide burned when I saw wirefly and amazon sell it at a lower price.
I dialed *2 to ask for a promotion matching credit, the first rep to supervisor to manager combo denied me but I called in again, asked to go straight to a supervisor and explained the situation.
They gave me a 30$ credit.
Might as well get something considering you signed the dotted line for two years right?

Thats nice I won't call tho they make my upgrade avaiable frol January 1st 2011 to today , almost 6 months cause I broke.my screen for my second line so I'm happy with that

for those that ordered from wirefly in the past, have you ever changed/cancelled service within the 6 month time period? I bought my evo 3d from them at the release date and was thinking of leaving sprint without paying the ETF(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1226343), but not sure if and how Wirefly will charge me.

I did once about two years ago. In addition to the ETF, wirefly informed me I owed their company money. I dont remember how much, $200 I think. They called me a few times about it and I never paid it. That was the last I heard of it, they never turned it in, so it didnt affect my credit.

yeah,, but with the administrative fee chanage, I wouldnt have to pay SPRINT. Still concerned that Wirefly might report me or worse, have a collection agency call me every 15 minutes. I guess I am the only one in this situation....lol

Saw an article that stated Sprint is allowing certain customers a bonus early upgrade through the end of the year. From what others have posted on different forums it's supposed to be offered to high value accounts that used to have Gold Premier status or something to that effect.
Some people reportedly called in and were told they were eligible.The article says you need to do this at a CORPORATE store. So anyways, check it out if you feel inclined. Just passing along what I heard.

I got 400+ days until eligible. I called and they definitely denied me, said im to far out from an upgrade. Oh well.

Don't call. Go into a corporate store and check. My friend got this. Used to be a gold premier account.
It's only for gold sprint premier customers that havnt used there early upgrades by the cancellation of the premier. Gold premier customers have until 12/31/2012 to use there upgrades.

Well I have a three line family plan. I checked on both lines that I upgraded on last Christmas and they were both eligable. I am not a gold member and both lines had a year left on them. U have to actually go into a corporate store and they have to look it up on their computer.

I am a gold member and received the email saying I still can upgrade on my ever year upgrade until 12/31/12. As of January 1 the sprint premier service is supposed to be re-engineered to another type of system for upgrades. Maybe this is a gift from sprint for some u never know till u go in and ask.

Did u go into a corporate store. They are the only ones able to do it. Print the link out and take it with u. I am no longer gold and both lines I asked about was eligible. I'm thinking about going back for my wifes line and getting her an iphone.

I work at sprint... Here's the deal. If you're a Sprint premier customer and you did your upgrade BEFORE 12/31/10 then you can still get one more upgrade in the one year mark. They had a program that let people upgrade every twelve months. If you are eligible for the upgrade its good until the end of 2012 but if your year isn't up until after this new years day then you're out of luck.

Let me just clarify what you posted. I was/am gold with two lines.
1. Phone upgrade currently available as of 6/11. If I upgraded in the next week, I will still get another upgrade again at the end of 12/12?
2. Upgraded to 3d and not elligible till 7/1/12? Then have to wait another 18 months?

have you read the contract? I am sure it's in there.
I think that's pretty normal for most companies. Your in a 2 year contact so that are guaranteed 24 payments from you, so charging you a month ahead is because your going to have to pay anyway until your 24th payment.

I walked in with my Evo, told them I wanted Photon, gave them $600.00 and some change, had my number moved, and told that Michael Vick Pit Bull looking heffer to kiss my black a**, I'm not signing ANYTHING!! I divorced Sprint August 2nd, 2011!!
My wife and I went into the ATT store in our neighborhood Saturday for her to pick between a SGS4 and a One, and see if we could get her an early upgrade. She's not due for an early upgrade until July and her Samsung Infuse is not performing well anymore and we wanted to take advantage of their trade-in offer. After waiting for about half an hour and haggling with a sales associate and the manager, the were not convinced and we left empty handed. A co-worker put me up to calling customer service and after explaining the situation and our in-store experience and a brief hold, the rep came back with some awesome news! She was approved to not only let my wife have the early upgrade, but a FREE upgrade to the black 64GB! And just to sweeten the deal, she threw in free overnight shipping!!! We're expecting it to arrive tomorrow. I think i'll keep the black one and let her have my silver 64GB.
All of those TMOUS and VZ subscribers who say ATT has terrible customer service have no idea. I have been with ATT since 2006 and have never needed to call customer service. This is not bad for a first experience!

Thats the funny thing because i didnt even tell her we were treated poorly in the store, but i think thats how she interpreted it. All i said was that my wife's phone is i sad shape and the store would not honor an early upgrade.

U just got very lucky. That one experience does not mean all of ATT is that way. Believe me you can call with the same question 5 times and get 5 different answers..been there A LOT with ATT. Go to vegas soon my friend, before your luck runs out
I came from an Infuse as well. I wish Scott would come over here. I miss my BeanStalk. BTW I came up with the logo for that. Lol.

I got the same treatment. I called told them why I needed an early upgrade 30 mins later I got my confirmation email with shipping info.

I simple told the Rep that I need my upgrade 2 months early because my current phone wasn't working for me anymore. she understood my problem and said retention department could help me. Five mins later she came back and said since I was nice and in good standing that she could approve my upgrade and wave my upgrade fee. I need a larger screen due to losing most of my eye sight in an accident she said the only draw back was I'd have to pay for whatever phone I wanted right then . So I told thanks and then spoke with her supervisor letting him know how great she was. Being very decent is the key even if you need to speak to a supervisor ask nicely and erasure the Rep that you understand that she help as much as they could. So I paid for my phone and they shipped it out ocernight. Be patient be pleasant they get ****tiy people calling all the time so it helps to be nice.

Co-worker got a similar deal. His problem was that the online system would cancel his order immediately after completing it. It happened twice. He called not to complain, but simply to order the phone and got it free with free overnight shipping. His account was eligible for an upgrade, though.
The store manager has the power to give u an early upgrade within 30 days of the eligible date. Its funny BC some managers will say well it has to be in the same calendar month or ah it's gotta be within 14 days. U got lucky!
